  1. Some time during this expansion there were changes made to eyes, making them more detailed. For Dark I, II and III the orange eyes were changed to more normal looking yellow/amber/golden ones. I always use Dark II/III corruption on my human Sith Lord because I like the look of it, the paleness and shading (except of the mouth) and eyes ofc. The new eyes are not bad, but I preferred the old orange ones; for consistency, and because they looked more Dark Side. Mostly the new eyes are a bit too brown instead of red-orange. Customisation of DS corruption in the appearance editor would be great, where we could pick between some DS eyes and maybe even whether we wanted darkening of the eyes and mouth or eyes only etc. There could be a button in the appearance editor that toggled between the normal mode and DS corruption mode. New DS eyes could also be added, like e.g. Lana's eyes. Giving DS eyes as a normal eye option, while nice, is no help for those of us who like to use DS corruption. Thanks!
  2. I agree and I've mentioned this before; I think a lot of the original class companions should be romanceable by both men and women. Changing this retroactively would screw over our existing characters though of course, so the best solution would probably be to add new dialogue cutscenes with them for same-gender characters. (Sort of like the Arcann scene.) Honestly I was hoping for example that during the reunion with Malavai Quinn, my Warrior would finally get romance options with him. It was a great opportunity, but alas. Same with Vector and my Agent.
  3. The male body types have nearly non-existent bulges, i.e. their crotches look too flat. Often they don't even look male. With some few pants from certain angles they can look like they actually have a bulge, but this really limits the amount of pants we can use for male chars, unless we use chest pieces that cover the crotch, which again limits the chest pieces. Please give male characters bulges. This has been asked for before, a long time ago (but I can't find the post). I think it's about high time to improve this. There seems to be no problem with including average proportioned and even above average proportioned female parts, so why do male ones have to be so under-proportioned?? Or, implement a slider in character creator with which we can choose between a few.
  4. Kinky But yes, I think it would be fair to have any comp available legacy-wide at the appropriate progression after unlocking them on one char. I find it odd that some class comps can be gotten by everyone, and others not.
  5. Mine as well <3 I love many games, but yes SWTOR is number 1.
  6. It seems voice lines for these emotes were added in 1.5.0, and that's when I reported this issue. However, I remember that this got fixed, and then some time after it got reverted back to same-class only... (I think some time in 2.X, possibly early 3.X.)
  7. No, that's what I meant, among other things, with matchmaking needing to be improved. We've discussed this in another thread. For ranked there'd need to be an equal amount and size of premades on each team. Sure, it's nice to play against friends too, but in a ranked environment, when there are multiple groups of friends wanting to play, why not just let them be on the same team? The game doesn't have in-game voice chat -- with groups at least we could have that, and could organise our strategies the way we wanted. It would make for higher level plays, and furthermore some of us feel more comfortable and just have a better time when playing with friends. After all we're friends for a reason. Yes, we could possibly make new "friends" and maybe even friends after a long time, but it would still be pretty random who ends up teamed with whom. At the very least it would make joining voice chat much more tedious. I just don't see the problem of having equal amounts of equally sized premades on each team... Yes, I suspect many of us would keep mainly playing normal wzs if solo ranked ones were implemented, seeking competitive games there, as now. Still, it would be a pity to have the competitive wz players split up into two queues, reducing both. It would be great if we could have one competitive and one practice wz queue. Some of my friends and previous guildies might return for ranked wzs, but solo ones not so much.
  8. No, no, please no solo ranked wzs. Either make it 8-team like it used to be, or similar format to how normal wzs are now, where one can q with any number from 1-8. Matchmaking would need to be improved. And we'd need in-game voice chat. If we get pvp-gear and comms back in 6.0, that will reinvigorate lowbies without having to merge them with maxbies.
  9. They will be even more beaten down on max lvl if they do not learn pvp while levelling. When they only get arena pops, it's no wonder there are so many clueless players in max lvl wzs (who in turn make games less enjoyable for experienced players).
  10. I haven't been able to be on the PTS, but I'm assuming this is not the case then. I agree it should be like that, and this is what I thought maybe the thread author was talking about. Too much of a change for a non-expansion patch though. (If they had been less experimental with the new gear however... ._. ) As others have pointed out, stories with different outcomes are nothing new. Even in vanilla class stories one had all the players of the same class becoming the same unique title, or lone apprentice to the same person etc. It can't really be avoided. When we RP we have to make own sub-lore. For story reasons having choices is good. On a related note, vanilla-style class-specific stories offer more diversity in addition to being more fun. We do get different stories for Imps and Reps now, but I'm hoping any new story at least has cutscenes and story better tailored to the different classes, so that force users can use the force, tech users can use tech etc. So they can be what they actually are. The lack of that is something that irritates me and destroys my role immersion in the KotFEET stories. (For example my very powerful Sith Lord being pushed around by a comparatively medium level force user, or jumping across a gap like a normal pleb rather than using the force (while weaker NPCs use the force), or my agent being involved in and surviving powerful force-stuff etc.)
  11. I don't know much, but I'm pretty sure WoW for one is still a competition. I played WoW BfA for a bit, but I grew bored after a couple months. I've also noticed more bad players lately, on DM. Both in amounts and in skill. Many matches it feels like playing with toddlers and trying in vain to teach them. Other matches are roflstomps. A lot of games are either frustrating or boring. I mean it's always been like that, but it just seems like the average player skill has dropped lately, and there is a higher percentage of noobs. (Games were better when we first got matchmaking.) Even some players I knew used to be good objective players have gone into complete deathmatching mode, willfully ignoring objectives. I don't understand the fun in that. If people wanna practice rotations they might as well go kill pve mobs or hit a training dummy? I really think there should be another unranked queuing option, separate from wzs, normal arenas or the like, where these people could go practice or whatever they do. Or we could have ranked wzs back. Maybe some previous players would return for it. But there'd probably also be win trading... I'm not noticing any decline in wz pops, so the population seems to be stable, but I don't know. I think some people will come back for 5.10 (some of my friends plan to), but I hope BW will improve the new gear system, lest these people leave again... What we need is a new hope.
  12. Not sure how literally you mean this, but one of my chars is healer, and if the rest of the team is derping around deathmatching instead of capping (especially in Novare Coast), then of course I will cap in those situations instead of healing them, if otherwise it's a guaranteed loss. Back in ranked wz days there were some great skillful objective plays requiring thought, practice and coordination. That nowadays 90+ % of pvpers don't seem to have a clue on how to do objectives I think rather implies objectives are not for beginners. When players know the game, it can make for amazingly fun and challenging matches. You say objectives are boring, but if you strive to help the team win a wz, then you do objectives. I for one find mindless fighting incredibly boring compared to smart objective play. Killing the enemy in a strategical place/time is doing objectives. Leaving a node because one would rather fight a random fight in the middle of nowhere is not doing objectives.

    Infiltrating caps

I don't know if this works on other caps too; I've only seen it in Voidstar. An operative uses infiltrate after a teammate starts planting the bomb, and the planter becomes stealthed while still capping. The enemy can't see anything until it's too late, unless they spam AoE, if they miss that split second when capping starts. Is this really working as intended? Infiltrate shouldn't stealth a capping teammate.
  14. No changes to the new gear system then..? After all the feedback we gave?
  15. I am ^___^. I do this once in a few years. But I guess it would be nice to have a summary somewhere of the choices we've made on a particular char. Like a journal on the starship or something. Showing old cutscenes would be difficult wrt outfits. The game doesn't save what our chars were wearing when originally doing the cutscene, so it would have to just play what they are currently wearing (which I think is good). But I'm also afraid that messing with the old cutscenes might bug them out in their original missions. And so I'd say this is not worth that.
  16. I suppose the game has changed quite a lot from back in the day. Ohwell. But by that definition, running into another player in the open world at all is forced grouping. Why even play an MMO?
  17. Was about to make a thread about this, but found this one ^^. Yes, we really should have this option. Why shouldn't we be able to decide how our character looks/dresses in the cutscenes displayed for our eyes only? Nearly all my characters use some head item, and some of them just look kind of wrong without them. By all means, attach a warning message that pops up when enabling this option, informing the user of whatever is the reason head items are taken off. But just let us choose. (Can also inform players that they can press Ecs to redo a custscene.)
  18. Maybe, if you mean % of the dmg that the top dmg dealer dealt, as opposed to % of the mob's hp (which would mean only the top DD gets credit). Still, what about healers who heal someone doing the damage? Or tanks? This is an MMO after all. You run into other players out in the open world. Is hitting the same mob so different? Imo, it makes things more realistic and immersive. It's not "forced grouping". You don't join a group with a private chat. The loot is a point though. But do these heroic quest mobs drop such valuable things? P.S.: I hear the new Ossus heroics will be somewhat hard, so I'm guessing they might require a group. With this shared system one could complete them without having to LFG in chat. So it would actually be less social interaction.
  19. But why would you have a problem with an emote like this also being used on players who consent? I mean there could even be an option in settings to automatically decline all such requests. Or could make it only usable on party members in addition to triggering a consent window.
  20. Yes, this would be nice, for both companions and players, but for players the target would get a confirmation window sort of like for a duel, so they could accept or refuse the emote. Or alternatively it would only work on party members and only out of combat.
  21. Yes! This is one of the reasons I'm looking forward to the story!
  22. I'm looking forward to: - New story/cutscenes! - The huttball cc breaker bug getting fixed. - Pvp bolster bolstering augments. - More balanced warzones for the first couple of weeks after 5.10, before some people start getting 258 gear and games become less balanced again. Also curious about the new guild system where we can choose an aspect to get bonus conquest from, so kinda looking forward to that. Maybe my guild will even be able to reach a small conquest target with it ^^.
  23. I have more Vandin feedback ^^: The stun traps are annoying. The stun lasts too long, and if we get stunned by it right before it is turned off, we are still stunned until it is next turned on, and so we get double duration stunned. The stun should be shorter. Maybe half the duration.
  24. Queuing with friends and getting in a game against another group of similar skill level, can indeed make for some really awesome games. However some people may prefer to Q alone, for various reasons. Just because you find it boring to solo Q doesn't mean everyone does. Sometimes there can be very good games even with all pugs, if both teams have competent players (and balanced teams). Plus, 100% win rate sounds like you're facing lower-skilled groups and/or pugs. I for one find it boring to stomp the opposition. I like even games, even if I lose. Anyway, I also prefer to play in a group, with friends, but that doesn't mean I think everyone should be forced to group up. Also, grouping up doesn't automatically make all group members high-skilled. Unranked warzones should work for both groups and solos, and for players of all skill levels. It just needs good matchmaking.
  25. They did learn, or at least improve the system, even after 5.0, when they gave us UCs from pvp.
