  1. might wanna join some of the larger conquest guilds, they usually organize events where they run new players through operations at a slow pace, if ur just in it for the story tho you can just watch it on youtube, there is no difference between that and actually doing it ingame
  2. not denying the fact that you think of this issue as an actual issue, just illustrating how that doesnt seem to be a shared opinion from the playerbase
  3. that seems pretty indicative of the seriousness of the problem from the playerbase point of view, wouldn't you say?
  4. its unreasonable to demand others players play this game the way you want them to instead of the way they want 🙃
  5. nah, just transfer gm to whatever character that you actively play, if you dont log the gm char for 30 days it cant really be considered to be an active char, easy solution, also just avoid bringing randoms into your guild so even if gm passes to someone else its someone you trust will give it back if you ask? if ur running one of the zerg guilds with quantity over quality in terms of membership/recruitment policy you only got yourself to blame if the "wrong" guy gets gm when u go inactive
  6. seems to be a great decision, unranked is popping much more regurarly, game quality is same/better and it doesnt seem like many players left the game over the change, all in all a win/win for bioware
  7. would be a great item to add to the cartel market/cartel pack drop similar to the insta lvl 70 items you can already buy
  8. just play to win and stop leaving games when ur team is not ahead within the first minute of a game, easy solution to a non-issue, can't expect to win all the time. the only players who the the lockout "hurt" are the big egos who leave games regularly when things dont go their way not a major loss to lose those from the queue for 20 min, 1h or 24h
  9. bioware wants you to play to win on order to foster a more positive environment in pvp, if you like that or not is largely irrelevant
  10. Great news thank u, special shoutout to KappaChris
  11. only thing that is a requirement but not listed that i remember is to not have any unopened login rewards boxes or crates in your inventory, obviously if you are capped at the max character slot on a server that would prevent it as well but i would assume you checked that prior i had no issues transferring characters when i did on saturday so it's probably a you-issue somewhere in the mix as the function works fine
  12. tldr give out more free cartel coins and make cosmetic items cheaper so less players spend irl cash on cartel coins/cartel market which will have a negative impact on bioware revenue yea that seems reasonable to expected from bioware, its only cosmetics that are really that crazy expensive, most "normal" items like consumables and regular crafted stuff doesn't cost any crazy amount outside of perhaps gold augs, but those are irrelevant to all players anyway so its whatever just increase the cost of stuff that players spend credits on, repairs, travel cost, gtn tax and decrease the credits gained from regular stuff like drops, mission rewards and selling trash/items to vendors, overtime that will actually do something with inflation, but most ppl just want cheap cosmetics so here we are with yet again a thread suggesting that
  13. make it easier for bad players to gain better gear, make r4 sm weekly drop 3 blue r4 vet tokens or something, gearing isn't a major issue with r4 sm transition into r4 hm its mostly just learning to dodge mechanics which isn't a thing sm players knows about, but it will help bad players as their performance "floor" will increase nobody that easily clears r4 hm cares about some random fleet pug running around with fullblue 330-340, some of us do random group content and if a random guy does slightly better dps cause despite him being bad he has good gear, thats an overall win for everyone in exchange make veteran mode r4 drop more purple tokens to speed up the gearing process, alternatively make the weekly also reward 1 gearing token of your choice easier gearing for everyone = even bads will be good and goods = will be gooder
  14. bioware separating ranked between solo and group made sense since it was meant to be a competitive environment, regular warzones aren't as competitive, does not have any ranking system and losing/winning doesn't have any particular ramifications as such its fine to leave them as is, the system already tries to match a premade vs another premade but if it can't find another group the search criteria will expand, nothing uncommon really, its an industry standard system
  15. Yes that seems like a reasonable argument, ranked pvp being one of the most profitable pieces of content, thats why it got cut first clearly that seems like the most logical viewpoint here. bioware not being able to find enough eligible players to give out rewards just last season is nothing but great indicator of an ever increasing playerbase
  16. its an mmo, they will never limit the capacity of players to play with their friends, in particular in a casual non competitive environment, if you want a single player game without any group aspect, you may checkout other titles
  17. player observations and assumptions or bioware actions and reality, wonder which option can be considered facts... if ranked increased revenue, profits and resources at all/more than other aspects of this game where those resources could be allocated it would have stuck around, it didn't so clearly that is not the case that said, its up to each individual to decide if they want to think that bioware removed ranked despite it being profitable without costing any resources, or cause it didn't provide enough/any profits that matched the resources needed to maintain it
  18. doubt many people ask for removal of any content in this game, but this is just your regular business, concept types that cost more than they bring in will more than likely be cancelled as changes to make them profitable proves unsuccessful if ranked brought in more resources and revenue than it cost it would have stayed, it didn't so it got canned pretty easy stuff honestly unless your initial viewpoint was that bioware and ea are charity organizations built for welfare purposes
  19. the inflation is just a thing that really affects cosmetic items, if you want them you can just buy them from the cartel market with cartel coins, general items that players need don't cost that much, its the stuff players wants that cost a fair bit no need to fix inflation since it's only affecting cosmetics
  20. reasonable, now nerf deception cause its too good honestly
  21. with the upcoming changes to pvp its more than likely that pvp will get more development focused, the removal of ranked removes a large portion of the need to keep classes SUPER fair/balanced against each other and more of a content focused mindset, if i was a casual pvp like most of the ppl who run pvp are, i would be looking forward to the upcoming changes and be pretty vocal about what i want to see in them but if all you want a is perfectly balanced and fair classes for competitive pvp, you are playing the wrong game for years now
  22. group content has no bearing on a discussion regarding content in an mmo? alright 🙂
  23. if less than a 100 ppl cleared a new nim op in 3-4 months like for ranked pvp and the lack of eligible characters for rewards, i am sure they would stop releasing them
  24. bronze, silver and gold are sent automatically, top 3 are done manually by bioware staff, lets stick with what we know from developer communications, same with top 3 titles, we know that there weren't enough eligible characters... dont make up random facts to suit a narrative everything requires resources, ranked pvp isn't an exception to that and it does demand that bioware puts dev hours as well as allocate resources to maintain it, if it was just a mode they could put "out there" that require no cost for maintenance or upkeep they wouldn't remove it as it would be stupid from a business perspective. however as we know, ranked pvp isn't "free" for bioware, and they wanted to revamp it and reallocate resources, utilize the battlepass/seasons system that worked well in pve and has done great in other games, this required something to be scrapped and ranked got removed since it costs more than it brings there isn't much more too it honestly, i get the "feelings" argument tho that you feel like it shouldn't be removed and you will miss it, shame not enough people feel that way or it would stay
