  1. Advanced Might Hilt 31, Fiera, Empire. I've learned some enhancements too but I can't remember for the life of me, I'll update this later.
  2. Don't worry! My Jugg just hit level 20 today. Double XP weekends are secretly their tactic to keep Sin tanks happy by letting them reroll a JK AC in time for Nightmare S&V!
  3. Since we're all just making up wishlists / doomsaying, here's my piece: This game came out at least a year too soon. In hindsight, everyone would have waited for a better experience. Everyone except the people paying the bills, of course. Reputation, Legacy, Achievements, Collections, Group Finder, Super servers, all of those things should have been at launch. EV & KP should have had legitimate nightmare modes at launch, not "More HP! More Damage! Hope Soa's platforms don't bug on you!". 1.1 should have been EC + Lost Island / Kaon. 1.2 should have been Novare Coast & season 1 ranked. 1.3 should have been TFB + Section: X / HK-51. 1.4 should have been Ancient Hypergates and season 2 ranked. 1.5 should have been S&V + Makeb. 1.6 should have been tagged with "SW:ToR surpasses 5 million subscriber mark in less than one year" and the SSSP, a new warzone, and season 3 ranked. If that miracle wishlist were true, this game would have been unstoppable. That would have been great. Based on their summer plan, this game holds nothing for me until 2.4 at the earliest, months away. I love this game, and it's a lot of fun when it tries to be. Completing all 16 AC's for both factions through the storyline is all that's left at this point. 6 down, 10 more to go. Hope it's enough to hold me over until 2.4 and they start giving a rat's tail about PVP or releasing actual new content instead of 'SUPER DUPER NIGHTMARE MODE NOW AVAILABLE! Relive the excitement as we roll back all the bug fixes in our raids and introduce world-tearing one shot mechanics! 2.4 brings you ... BACK INTO THE ETERNITY VAULT!!!" As optimistic as I really want to be, most of my guild (probably one of the few last 16man raiding guilds on my server) feels the same way.
  4. Wasn't able to get the mats to craft anything. I would be surprised if there were more than 10 people online when I tried. We'll find out next week, I suppose.
  5. Hmm, tough one. Depends on the timing, like most people said. If SCORPIO has time to observe HK and learn, SCORPIO would win after her next evolution ... which is exactly when HK-51 would strike, knowing that this is when SCORPIO is most vulnerable. Can you kill a disembodied AI? Not with a sniper rifle. I have to go with SCORPIO on this one. When HK-51 was out, SCORPIO would upload to the holonet, evolve a few times and vastly outclass HK-51 with a new body made using the republic and empire's dirtiest black ops secrets.
  6. In all fairness, these kinds of RE variants for crafted gear have been reverse engineered for a long time so it doesn't surprise me that they were datamined for 2.2 as well. I'll hop on the PTS and see if I have the materials to craft one of these and see if it gives me a % chance to learn schematics.
  7. Fun with combat log parsing, or how I learned to stop worrying and love the log. In a (literal) feverish haze, I stumbled through the terror HM 8 man on Monday when I probably should have been resting and eating soup. Needless to say, was not performing anywhere near 100% (30% would be more accurate) I noticed I stupidly had two proc relic equipped when I was trying to quantify the fail. Learn from my mistake! Here's a link to the log. The buffs I was looking for in the parser I wrote to look for these things were "Focused Defense" and "Shield Overcharge". When you look for just those two, the pattern becomes obvious. Here are my procs in the first pull: # Fight Line From Start In English 4 1 00:43:55.191 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 00:05.75 6 27 1 00:44:15.428 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 00:25.99 26 43 1 00:44:35.556 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 00:46.12 46 62 1 00:44:57.162 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 01:07.72 68 83 1 00:45:33.072 Fiera gains Focused Defense. 01:43.63 104 103 1 00:45:54.460 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 02:05.02 125 121 1 00:46:14.652 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 02:25.21 145 140 1 00:46:34.840 Fiera gains Focused Defense. 02:45.40 165 159 1 00:47:06.673 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 03:17.23 197 180 1 00:47:28.240 Fiera gains Focused Defense. 03:38.80 219 198 1 00:47:48.484 Fiera gains Focused Defense. 03:59.05 239 212 1 00:48:09.154 Fiera gains Focused Defense. 04:19.72 260 226 1 00:48:29.396 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 04:39.96 280 232 1 00:48:57.008 Fiera gains Shield Overcharge. 05:07.57 308 Like most of us, I have a bag full of relics so it's not a big deal to switch it around based on the fight, just do yourselves a favor and double check if you're neck deep in NSAIDs.
  8. Yep, he's tried this several times with our guild by pretending to be our GM. I'm assuming our guild was the original target based on the name he picked, since it matches the naming convention he uses. Took a few screenshots and posted on our guild forums after telling him to bugger off. I think I caught him cleaning out a guild named Surge on the imp side since he was standing in the guild bank area at the time (where he normally hangs out). A few days after he tried again with the person he's trying to impersonate online at the time, just like the OP. The sheer avarice is sickening. The best advice I can give people is to limit who has authority to ginvite in your guilds and use voice authentication. The people in this thread don't need it, but there's nothing wrong with sharing best practices.
  9. I guess I have to be more obvious. If they added gambling, it would be for cartel coins. That's what I believe the OP is referring to, not mini-games that do not use real currency.
  10. Add a repeatable and random heroic 4 that requires you to pick 4 companions, complete a certain set of tasks as your companions, then fight the last big bad with your main and the companions you picked? Sold! As long as what the mission is has a randomized factor (4 or 5 options would be good).
  11. Change the ESRB rating to Mature for an IP owned by a Disney company? Yep, not holding my breath. I don't personally support it, but whatever floats your boat. I won't say no just because it's something I wouldn't do. If I feel like gambling, I'll check the going rate of a share for the SPDR Gold Trust (ETF).
  12. When I made my pureblood sith I tried to make her as fugly as possible. Mission accomplished. Hide Headslot = Disabled. When this hits, I'm bringing sexy back. Baby's got a relaxed uniform set and a rascal's toothpick (along with several MK-9 augment kits) waiting for her. Hell, I'll probably go Body Type 3 for the fun of it. There must be some rule that says all female characters must be a zaftig bombshell.
  13. I did this through maybe the mid 30's for my sniper. Using legacy gear, I'd run the flashpoint on my 50 operative and get a full set of gear in 1 or 2 runs. They take about 8 - 10 minutes per run, which is less time than it takes to craft blue quality cybertech parts. Once I hit the 40's I bought the epic cartel chest piece 5 times and used that until lvl 50. I've got so many classic commendations now that every 50 I will ever make has at least the campaign 7 armor slots and mainhand weapon ready for them when they hit 50.
  14. I can tell you as a Sniper DPS that has been on the ground and knocked up (oh my) that there are terrain "features" (a.k.a. crappy geometry and invisible ledges) that prevent you from hitting them at certain angles and ranges. From the ground, I've found that there are times I can hit them at 30 meters but not at 35 meters. Likewise, if I'm part of the DPS group that goes up top, I have LoS issues hitting the 40 foot monster eating my friends if I'm not positioned just right at the ledge. I have found most success by standing to the side at roughly 2 o'clock from the sniper's facing direction. That's not always possible with mob placing, but figure out what position works for you. Once you find it, you can count on being able to hit the snipers every time they spawn.
  15. I find force cloak to be extremely effective at preventing a 1-shot on the tank
  16. As an assassin tank, I like Sunder last as well because it makes the fight more fun for me. I have to do more than just cycle through defensive cooldowns to survive. Having said that, Tu'chuk really is the easiest option specially if you have snipers. What we do in our raid is setup a ballistic shield rotation with the snipers to coincide with the two assassin tank's cooldowns and absorb adrenals. It's pretty straight forward. We start as soon as the assassin tanking him hits about 10 stacks. First the assassin tanks use overcharge saber and deflection back to back (~27 seconds total). The 2nd assassin tank takes him for another 27 seconds after that. At that point the snipers in the raid take turns cycling through ballistic shield. Assuming just 2 snipers, that's another 40 seconds of damage reduction. Once ballistic shields have been exhausted, the assassin tanks rotate Absorb Adrenals for another 15 seconds each. When those have expired, the first assassin tank's cooldowns should be back up to repeat for another 47 seconds of damage reduction. If you have the snipers to spare and have them stand close enough to hit your tanks, the extra damage he puts out is trivialized.
  17. Help me understand where corrosive dart fits in PVE marksman sniper in 2.0 I'm currently running with this build. A few points are debatable (Seek Cover vs. Debilitating Shots) but don't have a huge effect on anything. NOW! I put points into energy tanks and vital regulators due to uncertainty. My gut tells me that taking the 2% alacrity and chance to proc a double corrosive dart in Lethality might be better DPS than the other 2 if I used corrosive dart but that's where my confusion began. I decided to test it. At the time when I tested, my gear wasn't up to snuff when I hit 55 (barely 2k cunning) so I took it with a grain of salt but it looked like corrosive dart was about neutral damage, since it matched a snipe but didn't proc anything that makes Snipe useful so I dropped it from my rotation. I decided to look up the highest dummy Marksman parse and found this. which messes with me. I don't know what that guy's build is, but I don't see a double proc of corrosive dart in the log so I'm assuming he doesn't go that far up the lethality tree. Is corrosive dart really a part of the best marksman rotation? None of the MM talents synergize with it, so I'm just surprised to see the highest MM parse use it.
  18. I'm disappointed. I was really hoping for something more heroic.
  19. Make sure you bought advanced archeology from the trainer. The max is 450, and to gather that node you need at least 401 skill.
  20. There was a single page of 28k stabilizers this morning before I went to work. I imagine they'll finally settle around 15k, but no promises.
  21. I've experienced the same thing. I thought it was Khem Val, but any companion I sent on this blanks on it from time to time. I just stopped running it.
  22. They added a medium armor orange moddable mic & ear piece helmet for level 53. My wildest dreams have come true.
  23. I'll find out soon enough. For me, Temple's next mission is the one asking me to either pick her or Kailyo. I haven't completed it yet, as Kailyo's affection is waaaaaay lower than Temple's (my 2nd agent, and I like pissing her off). When i get her back, I'm going to max Kailyo's affection and see how the whole thing pans out.
