  1. What? You didn't enjoy your hk helmet, jetpack, poster, ugly speeder, early access to chapter bugs, etc?
  2. They should but they don't, and not all of them are capable of doing the same things, nor willing so yes the op is right cs in general is bad because there isn't uniformity in their capabilites, training, or how they address teh same issues, one person gets it fixed 3 others get nothing done or are told that's the way it is. Been like this since launch.
  3. 4.0 started the idea of chasing 'new' customers over old, loyal ones like isp/tv/cable new people get stuffs oldies get crap.
  4. That Bw might actually think for a second and not latch onto the simplest idea 'heroics give too much money' not heroics in groups give too much money but that's expecting them to use reasoning and do actual testing pshaw. BTW I didn't care heroics in groups gave tons of credits(didn't complain) bc I just solo'd them(got lots less) but now I'm punished for that so yay?
  5. So after being told 4.5 would fix the bug from october 2015 with chapter 3 completion, cc coin grant, legacy ability, sh decorations etc, then told the next patch ie 4.6 would fix it you still haven't fixed it, why am I subscribing for this crappy support? Apparently cs fixed this issue over the many many months since you broke it for other customers but I and ohters just have to wait?
  6. ^Exactly this. Heroics took my crafter's jobs now they prey on the neutral trash you see on planets inbetween fits of madness where they dig through their hoard of mats looking for all the schematics that were taken from them.
  7. Unfortunately I do not know the answer, I'm in the same situation with my smuggler and will not be proceeding through new content until the issue is fixed which may be a great long while since the bug was identified back in October 2015 and still going strong. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=847285
  8. IIRC from Muscomarathon they(swtor or maybe even bw studios) are not going to E3 but I think ea is unless I got that screwed up and bw is going but not swtor.
  9. I got the same canned response which is their way of not doing anything. They check the issue and see if a canned response can or MIGHT apply assuming a living person actually sees it and they didn't just 'filter' everything with legendary status to this bug.
  10. I don't know that bank but besides what others have said, which amounts to amazon, maybe get a credit card from someone that isn't that bank? I only have a debit card from my bank all the other credit cards I have are from different banks but maybe that is an issue in Canada I don't know. It just sounds to me like your bank is pretty crumby.
  11. Agreed, live stream marathon play was a fun event, would love to see more in the same spirit just having fun with the community but hopefully for you guys not on a saturday for 15+hrs.
  12. That is no where near long enough to get an idea if a person isn't going to abuse your guild and the privileges you grant them. We're dealing with mostly 'adults' who can behave for 20 minutes, seeing that they act negatively as you describe etc will teach them pretty fast to keep their crazy underwraps until they see it in others and get the "go ahead" signal to be crazy. Level 10 takes what an hour, two? Of which most of your time is probably pretty 'focused' as much as this game needs you to focus on leveling or just friendly 'pg' chit chat. Other posters have mentioned it I'll say it again you need to tighten up your invitations and/or more thoroughly vette those with the power to invite members as well as doing the boring stuff like having a member code of conduct policy, naming rules of your own, and stupid policies like conflict resolution. At least that way members are at least able to see that leadership doesn't condone the bs you don't want. Nothing can stop someone from playing the part of the kind of member you'll state you want but if your members can see that you don't stand for this/that on your guild website there's a chance they'll report the infractions and give you a chance to fix it over just being disgusted and quitting w/o saying anything or giving some vague answer as to what happened. TLDR: You can't have a no drama guild and hand out invites like flyers on the street.
  13. Started about if a person who's been here for I dunno 6+ years has done all there is to do and should move on with the change in direction of what they enjoyed and now don't spend much time striving to do much of anything. Very quickly it turned into a check in of who's got the lowest forum id number/who's been here the longest. To answer the op, pretty much yes, you have overstayed your welcome if you don't find what they are doing with kotfe (episodic formula) engaging enough to keep coming back. There wasn't a push for more content BUT to make old content 'relevant' again which does not put much concern on all the players who've done all that already but those that haven't and could be enticed to come back. Now was this a stop gap to then pivot and add more content stuffs ie reusing old stuff to provide a buffer for the pipeline of development?, possible, but not I think very likely.
  14. I too would like to know if there is any news on the release of chapter 16.
  15. Very well said I completely agree and pretty much fall in the same boat as a player. I spend my time in swtor running alts on different servers when i feel like playing which isn't that much or listing the odd bit on the gtn to clear out inventory space.
  16. To me starting with chapter 12 the art looks of a lower quality, perhaps a specific technique I am not familiar with ie a style, it reminds me of the artwork made for sci/fantasy novels in the 80-90's. A kind of harshness with sharp/jagged lines and shadow over detail and 'fullness' of life. I don't recall the earlier chapters art, maybe it was screenshots I just don't remember. I do remember some of the launch concept art, characters that I thought wasn't very 'good' in terms of style like a rough painting but attributed that to the idea it was just to relay an impression for making the models/objects in game not meant to be a true depiction of existing assets. Just looking at the examples here: http://www.swtor.com/fallen-empire/chapters 10 Looks the best to me 11 is almost 'as good' but harder to say when it is a smaller picture so maybe up close in the same detail as 10 it might look worse I dunno. What I base my views on are also skewed by how the characters appear in game as opposed to how they are portrayed in the art. Shae looks remarkably unlike herself to me, some of that could be her expression but I don't think all of it.
  17. ^This right here. BW SOP, give us stuffs then take away stuffs or make stuff suck, sometimes they'll cite the 'community' as the reason why they took away stuffs or made stuffs suck.
  18. Agreed you neglect to mention how 'dps was too high' and they nerfed it after over a year of them upping it. But that wasn't enough they nerfed our interrupts and boosted mob stuns/knockbacks because that's fun and 'you should have to choose what you interrupt'. They don't test stuff properly and give too much too us and let us have it too long before they get on that and see oh we shouldn't have given you all that weeks/months/years later. That kind of behavior is bs, mistakes happen, they have limited time to develop/test etc but if you can't do it right and are just going to fake it how about you fake it less so when you finally get around to 'fixxing' it you don't take something that's fun/cool/whatever and make it suck ***. Almost 4 years of these insane boons that they nerf into the ground is ridiculous. Also why we can't have nice things.
  19. Agreed. Forced Level synch and companion nerf is too much. I know BW doesn't want to make more content but really if trying to sell us (read force) old heroics and everything scaled so we can never really sail through it like we once did isn't enough now they want to add difficulty levels to the forced grinding. As if forcing us to deal with level sync grinding and old content wasn't enough.
  20. Soooooo post 4.02 artifact authorization is STILL required to utilize level 65 comm gear I mean crystal gear from vendors. Having bought a subscription and/or all the expansions and been 'granted' them vis a vis subscribing for KOTFE you have decided to not allow players to use the comms they earn from the expansion they bought? 4.0 upturns the precedent you set with only 1-50 requiring artifact authorization for purple items 1-50 post 50 (ROTHC Purchase)you didn't need it and now 4.0 hits and you're trying to push artifact authorization for purple items again how many years later? Howabout you don't do that? I suggest you let players buy the gear they've earned through playing the game and gaining comms, I mean tokens (oh god why rename them without actually changing them?) instead of forcing a stupid artifact authorization requirement on them to use the gear. I *MIGHT* understand this *IF* the crafted items didn't require artifact authorization but nope purple crafted items require it as well. I *might* understand if they didn't pay for the expansions, ie f2p and not preferred.
  21. After using 10 server character slot unlocks preferred accounts get "this unlock has already been applied to your character'. Cartel Market states: This is untrue. Item text states: This is untrue.
  22. Agreed, default BW filling in background of class missions should grant codex entries and titles the way it is now is a terrible way to sell instant 60 tokens.
  23. Ink cre men tall? What you mean like look at something more than two times, that's too many times to look at something.
  24. I don't agree with the changes or the premise that companions were 'a bit' too powerful then you go to say they were far too powerful. Either they are a bit too powerful or they are way too powerful and by the nerfs it seems they were way too powerful which takes us to how such a drastic miscalulation was allowed to go live, yet again. It is just another perfect example of how there isn't the testing/time invested to these major changes to do them right, as in not even close to right. BW as a company needs to do better with how you make major changes and either be much more conservative in the boons you give players so you aren't taking them back after a month, year, etc and punishing us for your mistakes and that's what keeps happening. This is an entertainment outlet and giving us 'cool' things letting us play with them then turning around and making them suck isn't a succeeding business model or an entertaining experience. Better to give us stuffs that aren't as good as they should be then we complain you look at it and tweak it to make it better instead of giving us a god hammer then saying "no hammer is too powerful" and making it suck cause now we have god hammer experience and have become accustom to wielding it, also we get half your stuff. I applaud the decision to share your thinking that needs to happen much more often. If it did then you could get more feedback before granting a 'cool' experience/thing only to snatch it back or make it suck.
