    Neither - it is each individual bag has a 25% chance to have a BM comm. To look at it another way, each individual bag has a 75% chance of failure. Statistically speaking, it is quite likely that ~25% of the BM bags ever opened by anyone would have a comm, just because of the sheer number of bags that have opened. As for an individual, it is possible to open 100 bags and never get a comm (unlikely, but possible). Likewise it is possible to open 100 bags and get a comm in every single one.

  3. Just wondering anyone know where more locations could be that arent on planets? I currently have 97 (or 98 i forget) out of 105 completed under 'Locations', and have every one filled on every planet (except the bugged one on korriban), and have completely every flashpoint/operation.. so im just wondering what the other 7-8 locations possibly could be :S
  4. With the upcoming changes to empire players get access to cyan crystals too? Or is it just the purple crystals being made available to republic players?
  5. Having more diversity with the colours (ie. less restrictions) gives you MORE ways of differentiating your character from others, not less, instead of all bad guys being red... so you really contradict yourself here alot.
  6. As much as it may suck, they cant have them go too fast initially. They need room for expansions, and you can gaurantee that in a few months/years time they'll be faster than we currently have.
  7. Your idea #1 of making the item bound (BOP) is probably the single worst idea ive ever heard. BOP crafted items are bad and shouldnt exist at all, especially when they would give such a huge advantage as your proposal. Your idea #2 is a good one though imo, and it will allow players to far more easily find the look and appearance they want, then go to a crafter to make it viable. With the system that will be put in place though - there are a ton of craftable orange items, so its rare that people will look the same (unless theres only 1 crafter on a server and he just happens to pump out 1 single chest piece, 1 single pants, etc). Its quite likely that people will now start looking for crafters to craft a particular look for them, and pay them well for it. I think this ASWELL as the ability to simply add an augment slot would be the best option (although perhaps simply adding an augment slot would be more expensive to make up for the simplicity and ease of obtaining the gear).

  9. You dont HAVE to have crafting to min/max, but you will have to purchase items off crafters. I fail to see how thats a bad thing personally.

This is actually incredibly stupid if true, its completely halted (and probably cancelled) any plans many of my australian friends had of starting the game as they will be physically unnable to play with our existing group (well unless half of us re-roll now, or the other half re-roll later - neither of which are enticing options, or any option involving re-rolling)
  11. Theres no forcefield.. because they jump the gap in the centre where there isnt one, thereby allowing themselves to plant the 2nd bomb without extending the bridge.
  12. end game content does not solely = raids id bet good money if u got it all from raids ud come on here complaining that you dont have anything to do as you finish ur raiding content in 1 night and have nothing to do for the rest of the week
  13. That was a fantastic post OP and i couldnt agree more. Really hoping to see 3d-space flight with multiplayer/co-op in the future of SWTOR, it is a much needed feature
  14. Yeh it bothered me too, pretty much at no point in the game does my jedi/sith actually feel like a jedi/sith. They cant jump high at all, they take huge amounts of fall damage from even pathetic drops, they're incredibly weak compared to most npc's and bosses.. having 4 jedi hit some boss for 10 minutes to take him down doesnt make u feel very powerful, my marauder has practically no 'traditional' force powers (force push/pull, lightning etc). But all that being said it comes down to balance and gameplay, and those things (should) always trump anything else. I only wish gameplay trumped 'story' in many of the more restrictive areas than it does.
  15. yeh i agree OP, i was actually really let down when i read that answer too (not necessarily because of the fact that we wont get new ships - although that is disappointing as i thought it'd be cool - but just that 'story' has placed so many limitations on the game and essentially ruled out numerous potential features that would make the game alot better). I really, really hope that robust interior ship customisation will come in the future though. It'd be one of my most wanted features along with swoop-racing and pazaak. edit: ^ yeh pretty much that Oh well so much for ships being our homes as they were intended to be
  16. Not gonna lie, i really liked it and thought it was one of the better/best flashpoints.. maybe because it was unique im not reall sure. I'd love to see a hard mode variation of it with perhaps a different puzzle mechanic
  17. I crafted 2 rakata relics both with augment slots about a week or so ago, took a total of ~5 relics to get both critted (so 40% chance). I have a feeling that was rather lucky though and its probably a bit less likely than that generally. I also crit-crafted rakata belt & bracers from synthweaving and got 2 from 3 total crafted items (so 66%). That was done using a companion with +synthweaving though.

  19. yeh the combat log existed in beta but they took it out and want to rework/tweak it. They've said they will be releasing an improved one eventually
  20. Yes thats exactly what will happen in 1.2. You will be able to transfer the exact stats, aswell as the set bonus, from ur rakata gear into an orange piece. Additionally crafters will be able to crit (meaning adding an augment slot) to crafted oranges, meaning that rakata gear as-is will actually be worse than crafted orange gear with the rakata mods/stats in it, aswell as the bonus of being able to look like whatever you want.
  21. Yeh i suppose they're annoying doing anything, even like pvp etc. There definitely needs to be an option to make them auto-accept or just wait in pending etc
