  1. I think bringing Thana back could be awesome (I liked her personality even though I killed her on my DS characters)... However I think she could make a very unique companion choice. This could be one of those times that our choices ACTUALLY matter like Bioware claimed this expansion would do. There is already a precedence set for dead characters coming back: Not to mention that Anakin Skywalker comes back from near death to continue his quest for evil. This is where things could get interesting depending on the choice the character made. If you "killed" Thana then when you recruit her you would have to do a quest to get her on your side and she is more cyborgish looking (since she was near death) and she tells you that the force sustained her until her master found her. If you let her live during the story she looks like she did and joins you readily. When DS Pubs meet her she tells you a story about her betrayal and backstabbing by an ally on Taris (she looks cyborgish and you have to recruit her) while LS Pubs see her as normal and still have to recruit her.

  3. The only thing that bothers me really (I can even deal with the hair) is the size of weapons to character, especially in cut-scenes. It's not as bad as it was in and it definitely has gotten better in newer cut-scenes, but the best example of it is when you wield your lightsaber for the first time at the forge on Tython the size of the lightsaber looks absolutely ludicrous in relation to the character. Every time I replay that class quest I know it's coming, but I still cringe when I see it.
  4. I have no idea where this complaint comes from. I have leveled several toons with 12x XP and have not fell behind on any of them in fact I have been over leveled for most of them. I also don't continuously use the XP boosts because I always forget about them. Even stealthing through the content doesn't put me behind. My last toon was a Shadow and I stealthed through anything I could only stopping to kill things when they popped me out of stealth or if I needed to for the quest. I was level 50 easily on Corellia and hit just shy of level 57 when I turned in my last three quests (before loosing the pre level 55 boost) on Makeb about 3/4 though the Makeb story. I will admit that on this character I stopped at the end of each planet and opened up the entire map and collected every datacron to break up the monotony, so that was a small boost in XP, but not an astronomical amount. I also did Illum, but even without Illum I would have easily hit 55 on Makeb. I just don't get the people who say it's not enough XP.
  5. I don't know what you are talking about... I have Nadia going down a very dark path indeed and she seems to rather enjoy it... I let her know that embracing her emotions is the best way to go about things... I'm not one of those "oh look at me I'm so good" peace loving Jedi. I champion the Republic and I will do whatever it takes to ensure the Republic comes out on top... And when we win... Lana and I will unite the Republic and the Empire and we will rule side by side as Empress and Queen of the Galaxy!
  6. It's the Makeb GSI console. You click on it and you get buffed by GSI satellites. They boost your stats and your healing. You lose it every time you leave Makeb so you have to make sure you click the console again when you return. They are usually very close to the taxi droids.

  8. OOPS... wrong thread...
  9. I don't really want them to be an account unlock. I rather like the detour from leveling and questing that it allows. Not to say that I have them on all of my toons, but on some I enjoy the distraction. That being said there needs to be some QoL improvements to the system. What I would like to see is some of them being a little easier to obtain since less people care about them these days. Like the one Tatooine should add three more balloons, so that there is always one only a few minutes away and maybe speed them up a little bit (only slowing near the hop on and hop off points). Speeding them up may not even necessitate adding more than one or two balloons. Also, I would like to see the ones that require 2 people be able to utilize a companion to activate the other console like we do with crafting nodes. Leave the fleet one as is since it is a +10. By doing this you would still need to go out of your way to get most of them and really want to get them, but they wouldn't be so frustrating to get.
  10. Someone else posted something similar to this in another thread but I was thinking this once it went away and I tried to start an alt and I said to myself: "Oh my god I don't think I can do this again..." It should be based on a combination of factors: Level 50+ characters, legacy level, and legacy unlocks... This is the system I would propose: 1st Character levels to min 50 and finishes class quests through Corellia (at any legacy level) - legacy unlock (cartel coins or a pretty high amount of credits) for x2 XP class boost 2nd Character lvl50/Corellia, legacy 10 - legacy unlock for additional x2 XP 3rd Character lvl50/Corellia, legacy 20 - unlock add x2 XP 4th Character lvl50/Corellia, legacy 30 - unlock add x2 XP 5th Character lv50/Corellia, legacy 40 - unlock add x2 XP 6th Character lvl50/Corellia, legacy 50 - unlock add x2XP This should be implemented as a buff/skill in your abilities so that you can turn it off or on depending on your preference. Also until you level a character in each faction you cannot unlock past x6 XP to ensure that you see at least most of both faction's side quests (this part is just something I threw in because I feel like it would be a shame to miss out on at least one run through of all quests on both sides, I'm not stuck on this lol). Now after your 6th character you now have x12 XP for class quests, BW has all those cartel coins or credit sink you spent on the unlocks and we don't have to mind-numbingly hit space-bar to get through all of the sidequests for the 7th time.
  11. I want to echo the sentiment of this post... Thank you BW for all that you do. I know it can be tough having to deal with all of the criticism (not to say much of the criticism isn't warranted right now), but it's still sucks when people complain incessantly about something you put a lot of effort into. Not to belittle anyone else's criticism about the xpac... they are right about a lot of things, but if I had it to do again I would pre-order again... In my opinion I got my money's worth with the x12 XP and free skilling for the past month. I was able to get all of my in-process toons to 55 as well as several new ones to finally finish all of the class stories at least once. I have not even attempted any of the new 55-60 expansion yet because like when Apple offers a new iPhone update I wait a little time before I install it, that is until the bugs are worked out... I started a new character to play with the new character development system and so far I'm not exactly a fan, but I figure it will take some getting used to and then it will be ok. Lastly I would like to say thank you for listening to us and planning to remove skill costs (even more happy that I didn't start the level 55-60 stuff yet) and also, please, please consider incorporating the x12 XP somehow into our legacy system... I really love alts but I really hate redoing all of the side-quests (five times is enough). Now... to the rest of the community: How long until someone smarter than me and with more time on their hands has optimal abilities and rotations figured out? Where you at Dulfy? LOL! Anyway... thanks Bioware! Signed, the soon to be called... Bioware fanboy
  12. I understand where people are thinking this is bad but I think this is something seriously needed. Right now because this game is so solo friendly there is very little if any reason to join a guild. I've asked a lot of unguilded to join my guild and they say "nah... I'd rather run solo because there is no point to guilding." Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hear it now "but it's about the social aspects of the guild..." That doesn't hold water it is a proven fact that lots of people love to play MMOs solo (I'm a member of a guild but mainly play solo (for many reasons none of which are because I'm anti social)) so social doesn't matter to a large part of the player-base. There needs to be some incentive to join a guild... any guild. It's up to the guild to police those who aren't actually contributing to the guild or to blackball guild hoppers. Tier the perks so that at certain ranks only apply to your character the longer you stay in the guild. No matter what there needs to be some incentive for the solo player to join and contribute to a guild and right now there is nothing.
  13. I chose Vorosidus... My main is an evil Sith Inquisitor named Fulgora. Though it is not an exact translation it roughly translates in latin to "devourer of stars" Voro - devour Sidus - star(s) Figured that worked pretty well for an evil Sith bent on ruling the empire and subjugation of the galaxy.
  14. I've always thought that because it burns TA and is less effective then injection it should be a free heal. No power cost no cast time just burns TA. When I first started playing my op that's how I though it worked and then realized I was wrong.
