  1. They said at the guild summit it was planned for early April.
  2. The devs said at the summit they'd been working on SGRAs since before launch and time and budget did not allow them to be finished in time but that they already knew which companions would be available. This implies that at least some of the current companions are planned for SGRAs.
  3. There isn't any social armor that is higher than light armor. The devs have confirmed that they are adding medium and heavy social armors soon (I believe the first will show up in 1.2).
  4. Those are pretty much the only dailies other than the Heroic 2+ and Heroic 4s that are available while lvling. Several more open up at 50.
  5. There's an entire "Essential Guides" series, most (if not all) of which I believe have been updated to include all 6 movies as well as a large part of the EU. You should be able to find them either in a bookstore or Amazon pretty easily. There are also several other Star Wars Universe books and the like.
  6. The core mod: hilt for lightsabers, vibroblades, etc.; barrel for blasters; and armoring for armor, is what determines the weapon damage or armor rating for the piece.
  7. Also, Jedi -can- marry in this time frame, they just have to have permission from the Council to do it. There have been several people on these forums that have said you can do the entire romance line (at least for a JK) without gaining darkside points and that culminates in marriage. So if it's marriage your after, yes, your Jedi can marry and still be a perfectly good Jedi.
  8. He's not in your crew list when you hit "N"? Just because he's not visible on the ship doesn't mean he's gone. Leave the ship, hit "N" and click the button to summon him. If he's not in the list it's because he hasn't actually joined your crew yet.
  9. No, you cannot remove shipmates. Be a little more specific about "gone". As in you don't see him on the ship? Or he no longer is accompanying you outside the ship? If you don't see him on the ship, it does that when you send crewmembers on crew missions sometimes. If he's not with you outside the ship, hit "N" and resummon him.
  10. Not yet, no. The devs have hinted that the ability to change your legacy name might come in the future but there's no ETA that I'm aware of.
  11. Based on your comments I'm guessing you're a Jedi Knight, probably fairly low level? Certain abilities will give you focus. For a JK this will be strike and also force leap. Now, unless you get certain talents, Force Leap has a minimum range so you have to be a distance away from the mob to use it. Once in range you will use "Strike". This should be in your #1 slot on your action bar. If it is not, open your abilities window with the "P" button, go to the Jedi Knight tab, and find the ability then put it back in the #1 spot. Now, every time you either hit the 1 key or right click on a mob, you will use that ability. Each strike gains you 2 focus (iirc). Once you have enough focus to use another ability such as Slash, the Slash picture will light up, indicating that you can use it. Mouse over each of your abilities and read all the tooltips carefully, they will pop-up in the lower right corner of your screen. The tooltip will tell you what they all cost, if they have a minimum or maximum range and also general information on what the ability does and when it can be used (if it has a special trigger like Riposte does). Once your familiar with each one, I would recommend rearranging your action bar in a way that makes sense to you (while leaving Strike in the 1 slot) and then locking the action bar with the little lock to the left. As you learn new abilities they will automatically appear on your action bar. Read the tooltip, figure out what it does, then unlock the bar and drag it to a spot that makes sense to you, then relock the bar. This will keep you from accidentally dragging abilities off your bars. Also, under Preferences -> User Interface you can enable more action bars so you can have two on the bottom and one on each side. In the Preferences window, at the bottom there is a tab that reads "Keybindings", if you go to it you can go to the Quickslot section and set up keys that will trigger every single slot (should you so desire).
  12. That said, they've also said they plan to add more customization options for the ships so... yeah, they will eventually become more like player housing from other games.
  13. Are you unable to click on them or are they dark colored? If they are dark it's because you don't have the resources to use them or if they are dark with a red tinge you're either too far or too close to use it. If you can't click on them, trying hitting ctrl+U twice to reset your UI.
  14. We actually don't know that. We just know that SGRAs are coming with story content. Whether that means expanding current companions, adding new ones, or both we just don't really know. Nor do we know if the content will be post-50 only or not. I would think, if it's expanding current ones AND given they said they already know which will be available, that it will not all be post-50 only.
  15. LS/DS doesn't affect how your class plays. Just pick whichever one you prefer. They are removing most of the alignment restrictions from color crystals.
  16. Not sure what you mean? Are you asking about resetting your skill points? If so, visit the skill mentor, he's in the last alcove on the fleet in the combat skills area and also on the capital worlds. If that's not your question you may want to clarify.
  17. There are no racial stat bonuses. BW didn't want to make any one race better than another so the special race features are social abilities only.
  18. Are there any plans to add something like a tax system in order to make guild banks self-sustaining?
  19. I would think, in those cases, the female companion would become the F/F option (assuming they don't add a new companion).
  20. First post belongs in the suggestion box not new player help. Second post was addressed in the most recent Q&A.
  21. I could see a few new companions, particularly if they were companions that they've been planning to add from the start and so have already been working on all the quest and voice work since before release. However, I really don't think there will be two new ones for each class or even one. I could really see it being a few shared ones. Personally, I got the impression with the "we already know who we're making SGRAs" that they are intending it to be current companions. It's possible some (or all) new ones could be available for SGRA but unless they are adding a LOT of them (which, I doubt), then it's far more likely imo that we'll see the option opened up for current ones. And since, as you pointed out, there's literally only one female companion for many classes, I'm inclined to think those are going to have to be opened up for SGRA. Especially given how some of them react to the other companions. Admittedly I've played (to 50) one class with one female companion and one with two and in the class with only one (JK) that one female seems a lot more likely for SGRA than the females in the other (smuggler) though that may just be a weird personal perception thing.
  22. Don't die so often... it takes several deaths in pretty short time to have that high of a rez timer. Rezzing at the med droid resets it also.
