  1. Okay I did the big mistake and take SWTOR for being SWG 2.0.... My fault and my money... Nothing wrong with the game.. its a good game with a strong singleplayer story and if I had taking it for Kotor 3 + MP elements I would have done better I did fill in the "why do you leave us form" and when I get the time I will turn back to Eve Thanks to everybody I have blasted and had a blast with on Alderan in the civil war and done flashpoints and HM's with So farewell for this time and I hope to see you all again when we can bust each other in space battle once again Deamonica signing off
  2. Exactly what I mean.. Well hopefully over time devs might forget about trying to replicate the Wow - playstyle and make their own game that might hit the goldmine and get a multimillion playerbase
  3. I have been wondering over the years Seeing that many speak about killing wow, with various MMO's and all have failed.. Is there an actual need of a game that kills wow, make the wow servers bleed and suck up all their subscribers? - just to be a good an profitable mmo? I mean.. the usual struggle between Battlefield and Call of duty over the FPS players... Is there an actual need for any other new born MMO to kill wow or die trying? I see many cursing BW for not being able to kill wow with SWTOR?... xx million players playing the same game... that looks impossible to kill... if all wow players were put together in a single nation - they would be a considerable nation... so let them play wow and leave them doing so... play wow if you need to, want to or just cant find any other reasonable thing to do... then let the rest of us play Eve, rift, swtor or whatever you wish and leave WOW alone.. Seriously - Eve has never had the playerbase nor size to compete with wow size-wise but is still an uniqe and massive world game and being most great.. same for rift and others.. And yes swtor has borrowed much gameplay from the wow-model that builds on something else I recall or am I wrong in the need to not kill wow?
  4. im on the red eclipse with both my toons, pretty nice server and its never a problem to get a group for flashpoints and herorics nor pvp. no matter what side I play on and at what time of the day awesome game so far
  5. Yeah... I wish that all stuff was created by crew skills and not to be dropped by random missions and stuff..
  6. Yeah it should have been more like, meet up at capitol world, get some mission machines or recruiting offices where you can be recruitet for guilds and groups for Flashpoints and stuff.. Get all the vendors down there.. Then when you have chosen a flashpoint or other stuff you wanna do, then you travel to fleet, where you see only minor selection of vendors where you can get the most basic stuff you might miss, ammo and med packs if you arent building them yourself... Then you take off for your mission from there.. And then do some fast travel on the major cities so ppl with limited game time dont have to sprint around all day between taxi points and shuttles..
  7. Hehe be carefull what you post about spaceships here Its a very debated by users issue and a very hated issue by the devs..
  8. Hi there a couple of years ago I found a really cool and big fat book about details and pictures of star wars weapons, people, gear, ships and walkers... I think most of it was episode 4-6 stuff.. but lately after starting up on swtor it had me thinking if there is any "facts-books" on the episode 1-3 era and maybe some of the old rebublic era?
  9. Grind for what? yeah the crew skills are pure hopeless grinding...
  10. relax will you... in my opinion there shouldnt be pvp and pve servers... just pvp free zones
  11. Hmm then I got to think: what about the storyline in the game... since I do most of the side quest on each planet I land on, then my level is far greater than the enemies I meet, so it had me wonder if one should follow the storyline so leveling up is not getting that fast? spending an hour or two with space combat and pvp then the xp income is massive
  12. Women... If you spent the whole weekend drinking and dancin they complain.. If you stay home the whole weekend and remain under surveliance of the female with all the other husbands in the area, then they also complain :S
  13. I will agree that we are paying for doing their beta because they prolly wasted their massive bufget on voiceovers not being used and then forgetting about gameplay... so consider your sub as an investment in a better payable future
  14. Hahah yeah... must be sign of too little pvp options ingame since people are battling at the forums at this rate
