In fairness i didn't really find combat/carnage that interesting to play when they changed the proc rates (also got rid of ps/gore reset) to be a sure thing in 2.8 (?) it was already dumbed down before 3.0 i could live with that though.. This patch they just took even more buttons out.... I kinda enjoyed the rng of it in a way..

They really confused things by taking the aoe element out of fury/concentration/rage whatever xD Its almost like 2 specs that do a really similar thing.. obviously they play a bit differently but... i'm still kinda lost on it all.. I liked it when you had the sustained spec, the burst spec and the aoe spec. It was a good thing..

    Healing in PVP

    i'd be worried if a healer was not pulling 1 million healing on a wz focused or not. Its really not a massive amount Its the same for dmg as well. obviously its all situational but 1 mil in full length for anything isnt so much anymore.. maybe in 1.2
  4. There really is no more flaming then any other server tbh... If you don't get flamed at for being terrible on your current server then chances are you won't get flamed at here Its not like people go out there way to flame people who dunno what they are doing because there are so many players that really have no idea what to do it would require alot of effort..

Sentinel should not be node guarding since they only have one breaker A stealth, failing that a vanguard, sage (a good one can kite and it also has 2 breakers one of which being bubble which should hold them plenty of time for support to arrive) or slinger are all better choices to guard. Unless your team is 8 sentinels there is probably a better node guarding class on the team
  7. Watchman/anni will do 3k+ with the correct game IMO cause yolo dots i've personally done 2.7/2.8+ a few times.. The other specs can both do over 2k pretty easily as well. Done it a few times as combat... Any experienced sentinel/mara player will do these numbers if they the majority hadnt quit the class xD.. Just need dem heals but its kinda always been a bit like that even before 3.0.. ;P Problem is other classes do the same stuff except better... why take a carnage/combat over a ap pt for example? or a watchman over serenity? ;_; Also 2k isnt actually that much anymore all dps classes can do past 2k in pvp.. i mean when things are parsing way above 4k in pve it's to be expected.. I mean i got excited about 2k in the first week of 3.0 maybe The people that say "x class is fine" then posts a ss of them doing like 1.6k dps is always a laugh..
  8. Every dps spec in the game can do well over 2k dps in pvp in the correct circumstances.

  11. It was an amazing tool, granted lots of people have root breakers especially now but if you time it right...

    PVP Healer

    Healers are probably the closest thing they got to balance this patch. Exception being maybe merc/commando healers in solo ranked (due to not having an "oh crap" button like sorcs bubble or ops vanish) without team support but apart from that a good player can make them all work well in normals/team ranked.

  14. If you have a good healer 2 good marauders will not die much if at all if they play well unless the other team mas some major stackage of classes that would kill anything fast.. emphasis on.. if you have a good healer
  15. Oh i def agree tbh it should be baseline when you consider what other classes get. Its like when they nerfed watchmans dot dmg cause it had more than anni at the start.. derpp
  16. Well in fairness it was working as intended on marauder so sentinels had an unfair advantage

Ye what i mean was on sentinel if you took fleetfooted you got the camo talent unlike on mara (whos camo talent was working properly).. now you have to take both like on marauder if you want both.. rip to having an extra utility on sentinel i guess. I jumped in a wz to test with my old pre patch sentinel build and camo didnt break roots,,, TBH they should make that camo utility baseline....
  18. What i'd like to know is.. does fleetfooted still break roots on camo if it doesnt and it is working as intended then its technically a sentinel nerf cause we where getting 2 talents for the price of 1 since fleetfooted did what the camo talent was meant to do Edit: can confirm they fixed
  19. I am not standing up for the developers here... please don't get that impression. What i am trying to say is.. blaming the TESTERS is illogcal... they don't have the magical influence you guys seem to think.. and we dunno what feedback they gave... and they can't give it out cause nda...
  20. I agree that sentinels aren't in the best place right now but you can't go accusing pts testers about killing the class, they can't even say anything in defense due to nda. They are not allowed to reveal anything that went down on there so you DONT KNOW. lol I mean are you seriously trying to suggest that pts was full of guys going.. ye i think we should nerf sentinels till they are useless... ;_; I mean a few of the people on this forum are on a blind temper tantrum without any actual reasonable thought tbh.
  21. I don't think sentinel is in a great place compared to other classes currently. It has the dmg if you have a nice team with heals etc (but honestly its been like that for a long time) but the kiting tools and survivability are lacking now compared to other classes getting lots of new fancy toys and us getting stuff taken away... However i don't take some of the extreme negative posts here that seriously because some of these guys have been making posts like this since long before 3.0 when mara/sent IMO was in a good place actually probably one of the most balanced classes out there for pvp and pve... except maybe watchman/anni being too susceptible to roots and slows in pvp.
  22. they probably will i did almost 500k heals once on my marauder.. Though once they fix the ship parts, that will be a nerf to mara heals
