  1. I have Windows 8 on a desktop. Never crashed, no performance issues. If anything it feels just a little bit faster.
  2. I've probably seen about 3-4 hacks in my year here in SWTOR. Mostly speed hacking and glitching to some degree. It's probably true given the launch of F2P opening way for trolls and haters to hack the game and recreate a free account when they are caught. It's quite sad. But at the same time I've noticed no hacking of any kind in every single warzone I've been entering and this is on the server Tomb of Freedon Naad.
  3. I pity you to be honest. You spent $130 on a game you don't enjoy....... yet your still here, on this forum, creating drama. Admit it, you love this game, but your a bit bored and slightly attention starved so you thought you'd make a thread outlining why you should get subscribers privileges forever because you bought the CE.
  4. Typical collectors edition whiner. Bought the game, subbed, then quit. Now the game goes F2P and he expects to have subscriber level privileges just because he bought the collectors edition. You pretty much paid for the statue, artwork and soundtrack with a copy of SWTOR. They give you free 1000cc plus extra for month subs you did. You can easily unlock more options in the market but no. Let's just make a thread and whine about it. The OP will pay $120 for a collectors edition and a super computer in his signature but moaning because he doesn't wanna pay a $15 sub.
  5. Which brings me back to what I just said. You think your entitled to godly privileges because you spent an extra $70 and paid for the game already. Your not that special. Your just trying to say everything they've given you isn't worth what you've paid for plus your complaining about having to pay them more money just to get more CC. Your a typical whiney little self obsessed know it all trying to justify how he thinks he deserves more because of how much $$$ he's spent. Pathetically funny thing is your still subbed to the game. So your just paying what, $15 just to whine and moan on the forums because you don't think your getting copious amounts of content for your moneys worth because the games gone free to play? Grow up.
  6. I totally agree with you. You've just summed up everything wrong with this thread and complainers in general.
  7. Yeah and for that $150 dollars you got a statue, artbook, soundtrack and access to VIP plus extra in game items.
  8. I was expecting UNLIMITED sarcasm on this thread tbh. But you are correct, beautiful storyline for HK. It's all coming together slowly.
  9. Chances are your names are already taken free-loaders
  10. Welcome back friend! Just in time for F2P i see as well Probably a mass increase in players you'll see around about the 15th and onwards but other than that enjoy the new features coming into place. The games about to get a lot more fun.
  11. Hey Sukalo, I'm from the UK as well. I just sorted out my cousin with a decent entry level gaming pc which atm is running SWTOR at 50-60 fps on high settings at a res of 1400x900. He also had a budget of £300-£400 and a AMD rig suits exactly that sort of budget. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-210-OK £370 Overclockers are a very good in the UK for prebuilt gaming pc's. I have no idea what resolution your at atm but this gaming tower will suit your budget and run the game perfectly fine. The option of the first graphics card is the very basic entry level but still good enough to run swtor. (HD 5450) Any other querys mate i'll try and help you as best as I can.
  12. So your moaning because you're not getting 150 cartel coins for a free month of game time Bioware gave you.... Get real.
  13. Still here! I regularly play when I can. Still enjoying the crap outta this wonderful game.
  14. Sorry mate, that generally won't cut with that budget. Decent pre-built PC you'll find would probably be an AMD budget gaming rig for £550. If you can cut in an extra £150-£200 you'll be able to get a mouse and keyboard and monitor with it also.
  15. Oh yeah, I remember the SSSP announced a month or two after launch. Exciting..... If they announce open space fighting and exploration then I will literally **** myself.
  16. Personally I find Windows 8 perfectly fine. The only ones complaining about it are the people who don't like the fact they haven't got a start menu. Others are the "Notch" fanboys who worship everything he say's and if he say's Windows 8 is a disaster then in their world..... it must be a disaster. It's no different to Windows 7, performs the same just a different look and faster booting.
  17. I think out of the million things this game desperately needs in future updates I think I'll put same sex relationship with companions at the bottom of the list. Why is this such a needed addition to the game. It's just dialogue and kiss animations. Is that REALLY what the SWTOR needs right now. Are you actually staring at your companions all day sadly wanting to get it on with them. Seriously Bioware, take all the time you want on these SGR's.
  18. Just laying it out there after comparing most of the F2P models. If you generally don't agree with this then that's fine. After looking at DCUO and CoH models I've determined that they have a "Middle" option to help compensate those players who bought the game at launch and have subscribed at some point in it's cycle. I find it quite fair. It's not as generous as the subscriber option but it's not as bare as the F2P option either. On DCUO the "Premium" option was available to previous players who didn't want to pay the subscription fee but had already bought the game at retail price and did at least one subscription. It was also available to those players who spent at least £10 in the Sony shop or subscribed a few times. It gave them a bigger cap in terms of everything over F2P players, allowed them to keep some of the stuff they attained as a subscriber but at the same time not giving them heavy privileges as subscribers or hefty rewards on a monthly basis. I generally think their needs to be a middle ground. People who forked out £30-£40 retail price for this game at launch are going to be slightly peeved off that when the F2P options comes into place they have been stripped of everything even though they paid money for the game in the beginning. By adding the premium option they could change the cap for these players from 200K credits to 700K. Slightly better chat functions, let them keep hue to chest and hide head slot etc and increase Warzone and Operation cap slightly. Obviously at the same time not giving them the huge privileges subscribers get. If they somehow do have this option then I do apologise because I generally haven't seen it around the forums but overall I think adding this option would be fairer to previous players who aren't thinking of resubscribing.
  19. For my Guardian Tank i chose to ignore absorption entirely and focus solely on defense. I remodded all my enhancements on my campaign gear into Shield/Defense. Where as my Shield Chance is 50%, my overall absorption is around about 33%. My defense chance however is 35% (38% riposte talent) and that's all in a full set of campaign gear with a War Hero Def Relic. With this setup IMO i've felt quite tanky in EC HM.
  20. I make quite a lot of credits with Artifice. I make 26 Enhancements and Hilts and Campaign Offhands. Enhancements go for 500-700k each and Hilts for 2mill-4mill each. That plus special requests for magenta and green crystals. It's actually very good to make a nice stash of credz.
  21. Your inexperience and lack of knowledge knows no boundries...
  22. Sad person who made this thread. It didn't cause a loss of subs, stop pulling non-existent facts out your arse.
  23. Well they give you plenty of threads to ask about what you want to see in the future of this game. But to actually let players and ******* alike take control of a game like this and play the way you want to, would be total chaos and most likely ruin the game for everybody else. If players had their way, Scoundrels would still be like they were 1.0/1.1. Eco would be ridculous. Tank classes would be OP. (List could go on.) On another note x-server LFG IMO is a bad idea PvE wise. PvP would be totally fine, seeing as you'll get competition from other servers but in a PvE scenario it takes away server communities and we're right back to WoW again, with random people, silent games and ninja looting. Servers would turn selfish and you wouldn't be able to build up a solid community.
