  1. In fact, what equipment you use below level 80 simply doesn't matter. Your level is so much higher and you have access to skills so much stronger than those these planets were designed around that they pose no challenge at all. There is no setback for questing through old content and there is no reason to worry. Overleveling and access to skills from much higher levels give such a huge boost that the random garbage that we get for quests is all we need. Better equipment, appropriate to the character's level, would be scaled down to the planet level anyway.
  2. What would be the purpose of undoing this change? Class trainers served no purpose, they didn't teach anything since we get skills when we level up.
  3. I don't know why you put emphasis on the word auction, it's GTN - galactic trade network, not a word about auctions. If a seller wants to sell something, he or she must beat the offers of other sellers of the item by offering it cheaper. What is this if not competition?
  4. I never said that such an advantage was unfair, I only said that it existed. When I wrote about the advantage, I had more in mind the WZ than the arena. Coordination and quick exchange of information are more important there.
  5. Isn't that the point? Since they play as a group, they have an advantage in communication, and this advantage is voice chat and the opportunities it creates. Giving yourself instructions and coordinating activities in real time is a huge advantage, or at least it should be. As a Malgus player, I must agree that I do not see this problem on our server. Premades are either so rare that I don't come across them, or they are created by players who do not dominate even with this advantage and I cannot even say that they are premade.
  6. I agree in 100%. If a game requires looking for such basic information outside the game, it means that it is not well thought out. As an absolute minimum, after reaching 80, the player should be directed by a mini quest to a conquest vendor so that he can buy green equipment and informed about the possibility of upgrading it.
  7. You call them kids, but who is the bigger kid, the one who throws snowballs during the winter event exactly as the developers wanted, or someone for whom the barely visible aura on the character ruins the entire pleasure of the game and spoils the mood? While we're at it, maybe let's introduce an option that will make us not see Christmas decorations on the fleet, there will certainly be a player who doesn't like them and maybe even find them offensive. But why stop at decorations, there are already suggestions on the forum to ban mounts from the fleet because they bother someone and are supposedly disruptive. I wonder what will disturb the people tomorrow, maybe the bright colors of the lightsabers? Let's remove them today just in case.
  8. If the characters didn't become bald, many of the hairstyles would just go through the hoods and it would look even worse. I agree it looks stupid, but it is the simplest solution.
  9. The waiting time for a match, especially outside rush hours, is already way too long, so any idea that would make the wait even longer is simply bad. To shorten this waiting time, I would support a solution similar to that used in FPS games - beyond a certain waiting time, the game fills the empty spaces with bots and starts the match. It wouldn't be pure pvp anymore, but at least there wouldn't be a situation like yesterday - one match for 3 hours of waiting.
  10. Personally, I'd rather they just raise the tech fragment limits to 99,999. I assume there was a reason for such a low 11k limit, but I have no idea what it was and I don't see the point.
  11. Do you want escrow to be removed from the game or do you want F2P and preferred players to be unable to pick up or collect credits from gtn and mail? I'm asking because you didn't say you were only talking about tech fragments.
  12. If I remember correctly, yesterday on Malgus I saw an offer of 100 million credits for $3.60
  13. Thank you for your answer and information, I was afraid that something might be wrong on my end. Since this is not a bug but an intentional limitation, the topic can probably be closed.
  14. My ideal fix would be separating pvp and pve balance by allowing skills to work differently, or have different values depending on target - npc or pc. This solution would require too much work to be a realistic option.
  15. I don't know if this problem applies to a wider group of players or only to me, but I cannot change the loadout in WZ but only on one map, the one with Blast doors. On other WZ, HB and arena maps it is OK, but on this one map, even though the button is active and it is clicked multiple times, the change does not occur. For the sake of formality, I would like to add that: -I have purchased the option to change anywhere - an attempt to change takes place before the start of the match while waiting -loadout I'm trying to switch to is the same class, same specialization, same equipment except tactical. Only the selection of a few skills and minor changes to the quickbar are different. -I have 15+ free space in my inventory -I've been experiencing this problem every day for 4 or 5 days, previously I didn't have separate loadouts for arena and wz -the situation is the same regardless of being an attacker or defender -I play on Malgus as BH - and as I wrote above, there is no problem with the same change at the same time on other maps. Therefore, I would like to ask other players to check if they also have this problem.
  16. How to recognize which item was offered as charity and who simply made a mistake in the price or the keyboard did not register a single click? In the old GTN, there were sometimes super items worth exactly 1 million, as if especially for f2p players, are you talking about that? Since this is the Internet and you can't be sure of anything here, I'll add In case it's not a joke: We can only thank The Force and George Lucas that your opinion doesn't matter when it comes to changes in the game. (opinions of other players don't matter either so no need to feel attacked).
  17. For this reason, I have an alt that holds the cash and is parked at GTN 24/7, and I only use this character to go shopping.
  18. Not being able to collect your quest reward while regenerating is very annoying, I hope they change it soon.
  19. People would throw at your companion, so the effect would follow you anyway, unless you stopped using companions completely for the duration of the event. My character is never cold because Lana is with me, very close, to protect me from attacks, of course.😉
  20. What's the point of writing it down if no one else would see it? You can have whatever headcanon you want regarding your character past, most people do I guess.
  21. There are people who join the guild only for extra EXP and apart from completing conquests, they do nothing for the guild, no activity in the chat or cooperation in the party. So it works both ways.
  22. 8 unique single-player campaigns and an expansion with the very popular Revan for free, and players would leave because they cannot freely buy items on GTN that do not even provide statistics, only appearance? Sorry, but this is nonsense. Adaptive vendor armors, planetary armors, legacy armors and yes GTN armors too. With a bit of patience, you can catch gems for ridiculous amounts or simply join a guild. Most guilds offer very large amounts of money for conquest. What's the problem with saying that as F2P you can't even collect this amount and ask them to buy what we want on GTN with it and transfer it to us through the guild bank? People get hundreds of hours of free gameplay in a universe they love and still find a reason to be dissatisfied.
  23. The limitation in credits that prevents the use of GTN is one of the difficulties that "encourage" you to pay the subscription every month instead of just once to unlock the maximum level of characters and expansions. I wouldn't expect any changes in favor of f2p players in this regard.
  24. Cartel Market offers the opportunity to view items on our character, with our species, skin color and body type. We can see whether, for example, the facial tentacles of the Sith Pureblood of the face we have selected go through the helmet or the lekku go into the backpack. Check how the dye, which is available on GTN at a good price, looks on the armor we are considering purchasing from CM. Such a CM on the website would have to offer the same thing or I don't see the point.
