  1. I specifically went to YT and looked for pvp tier (done about 3 months ago) and one had the arsenal as C/B-tier (arena/wz) and the other as A-tier, and both used the S-D scale, a reliable source of information for someone starting pvp lol. DO NOT USE YT AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION. The facts are that there is no shortage of people playing as arsenal/gunners in PvP, what's more, they regularly end matches with a large number of kills (3-5 in arenas and 30+ in wz). It's true that they have the worst damage, but the statement that you can't kill anything with them this is quite an exaggeration, with the current state of pvp you can kill anything you want with them.
  2. The GTN terminal on your personal ship is ideal for this.
  3. Galactic Season does not force anyone to do anything as doing it is optional. The second thing is that there is no such thing as a pvp player, this game simply does not allow such a player model. You are either a pve player or a pve + pvp player.
  4. Aren't scrapper and concealment non force melee?
  5. Since when does competing for a satellite count as contributing? Did they make any stealth changes to GSF today that I don't know about?
  6. I would definitely support them adding the ability to change the secondary combat style for a large amount of cartel coins. At the same time, I see no reason to be able to freely change secondary styles at a low level. In the game we have 8 unique comabt styles and 8 unique stories, if you want to know them all, play each story with a different style. In fact, some styles take shape at very high levels, so below level 30 you wouldn't learn anything about them anyway. For now, it's best to just not choose a secondary style until you know the game well.
  7. Unless you suggest banning everyone who doesn't speak English fluently, their community will still be there. Guilds consisting only of players who speak a given language will still do this, such guilds even now exist on Malgus.
  8. Ask a player on the fleet to join your guild for 5 minutes and invite your characters.
  9. Tactical available exclusively in CM? This opens the door wide for p2w.
  10. PVP is optional and many players never do it. PVE is mandatory and everyone does it without exception, without pve you won't even leave the starting planet.
  11. GSF is only in GS, ground pvp has its own separate season.
  12. It is possible, it just requires some time, a few months of regular pvp play. Have fun.
  13. Companion strength depends only on affinity level, gear is just a nice outfit.
  14. If they actively defend the satellites while parking and are good at it, there is much more benefit from them than from someone who tries hard but is not good at it.
  15. That's what loadouts are for. Create separate loadouts for each combat style and you will have everything saved.
  16. The most active means exactly the most popular, although of course this has no impact on quality.
  17. Most of these things the player experiences from the NPCs in this game... Misogyny on Quesh on the Imperial side from one of the officers on the headquarters. Racism is everywhere on the side of the empire, especially as a force user but not only. There is also religious intolerance, if I remember correctly, even Jadus talks about it when we mention to him that we do not worship the the Force like the Sith do. I have a question for those who complain about DK chat, if it is so bad, why, apart from the fleet, is it the chat with the most activity in the game? Either the number of people who are bothered by it is very small, the population of this game consists of trolls, or it's not as bad as you say. Personally, I would like to connect all my SH to the DK chat because it is the only one worth reading.
  18. Can you provide a link to at least one topic demanding a nerf for pve conquest? I saw people who understood why they nerfed "one click wonder", but I didn't see anyone who demanded it. I'll ask again, how do you want to balance pve and pvp when pvp has astronomical differences depending on the server and the time of day it's played? Look at it realistically, unless pvp has a GUARANTEED number of matches per unit of time, there will be no value to which you can equate pve and calculate your dream +/-5%. If anything, pve players are in a privileged situation, they can log in whenever they want, play without looking at others and get their Cheetos.
  19. The game is blessed to have "star wars" in its name. It's very easy to come across it by accident for someone interested in movies or other games from this universe, and those who don't like SW wouldn't play it anyway because they would prefer some classic fantasy with elves and wizards. The problem is not finding out about the game, but the fact that when you come across any discussions about it, you mainly hear complaints, hate and statements that the game has been dead for a long time. This does not encourage you to install and try. Their recent actions are making matters worse and accelerating the decline of the game, I think we all agree with that, but is it still possible to reverse this process? I sincerely doubt that any action on the part of the devs would be able to change the game's reputation so much as to cover all the negatives already circulating about it and encourage a significant number of new players. Is the lack of drastic actions and keeping things as they are for as long as possible the maximum we can count on? I'm afraid so. Don't take this as an excuse or encouragement to do nothing with the game, it's just getting harder and harder to be optimistic. It's like you said the game will slowly lose players until one day it disappears. It's sad because I have many nice memories with it. We can only hope that a new mmo based on SW will be created one day, because this universe definitely deserves such a game.
  20. Weren't you the one who told people that if they want pvp rewards they are playing for the wrong reasons?
  21. 1. If you don't know the specs, wait with your choice until you know them. There are 8 unique stories to play in this game, so there is plenty of opportunity to test out your styles before you start making irreversible decisions. 2. If someone wants to have one class with two sets of animations, that's up to them. 3. All non force sensitive class combinations are available from the beginning, just like during character creation, but jedi/sith must first be unlocked by achieving maxing LS reputation (allows sith to choose jedi classes) and DS reputation (allows jedi choose sith classes).
  22. Imperial characters free the Dread Masters from Belsavis prison. Maybe you had the smuggler combat style in some imperial origin story?
  23. By 95% do you mean 0.095%?
  24. 1. You have been warned at least twice by the game that the choice is irreversible, knowing this you should have thought twice before making the choice. 2. If someone wants to take a mirror class, let them take it, why do you want to limit other players' options? 3. Jedi and sith can choose each other's styles.
  25. Treating the MVP of the losing team as a member of the winning team (match counted as 2x) and the worst member of the winning team as a loser (match counted as 1x) would be fair imo. Let's reward individual achievements, not being carried by a better team.
