  1. Considering that 300+ people have been running Denova on Pot5 during prime time almost every day of the week, this might take some time to see it fade away. I wasn't even aware that they could zone instances like they do for planets but since that is already implemented, I can't think of any easy solution to this one. I would spaz out too if 10 guilds pulled Toth and Zorn at the same time forcing me to calculate all the AoE damage simultaneously. We could try to get all the people running it to trigger Orbital Strkes/Death from Above/Force Storm all at the same time and see if we can crash the server. That might prompt BW to look into it.
  2. Don't they technically already do since transfers? Last I checked Pot5 has owned the first two pages for the PvP P-S server forums. I can't imagine anything different for the Fatman grouping as well.
  3. I think the best suggestion would be to disable as many of the name plates you possibly can, that tends to be the biggest hog when it comes to processing the on screen data.
  4. If your looking for some burst damage while you heal, try popping a relic with super charged gas. than spam Power shot until the gas runs out. Power shot becomes a free ability with gas running so you will actually net back any heat you have while spamming the shot repeatedly on a single target. If they are bad then they will drop pretty easily and you will be at 0 heat to spam heals on your team once again.
  5. This math was done a ways back but I can't seem to find it anymore. I do recall through that the conclusion was that Aim > Power up until around 2100 aim, then Power becomes stronger. The difference is incredibly small between the two at that point so if you want to stack power or aim here is really up for grabs.
  6. I'd suggest moving around with the mouse, just requires a strafe left and strafe right button on top of the default settings on the mouse.
  7. You should eventually start to formulate a pattern of the global cool down of abilities and the motion of your eyes. Basically you will learn to flash your eyes to the hot bars and get a snap shot of what is on and off cooldowns and then make a snap decision (usually you already have it in mind before hand) on what to use next. By the time the ability is triggered, your eyes should already be located towards something else on the screen for the next 1.5 seconds. repeat... Further you will grow more into a pattern with what order and when you use your abilities to the point where you no longer have to look at the bar at all. Simple peripheral vision can give you all the information you need at this point. I don't know of any easy fix that will help you out, just a matter of training yourself to not look at it so frequently.
  8. I want to say the owner will have that instance till Tuesday morning or the moment he/she resets it. It may reset if that player logs off and no one is inside though.... I've never tested it really.
  9. To be fair, the community as a whole is rather idiotic.... That being said, the servers will stabilize once the hype dies down just like any other big event in MMO gaming. Take a break if that helps.
  10. If you want to stay, then I'd assume you can stay. They may force transfers later if BW determined the servers should be closed but for now you can at least enjoy the peace and quiet.
  11. Let's not take suggestions from a game that has not yet had the opportunity to succeed or fail yet.
  12. Rhetorical question, and they must provide less information if they wish to keep more customers. Look what happened with the Rated warzone fiasco! A repeat would be detrimental to their record.
  13. A Call to Arms (Sabers?) Men! This means WAR!!!
  14. Pre-June: Dev tracker would fill up with new information every week Post-June: Dev tracker fills up with new information daily (somtimes hourly) I would say their communication has improved by a magnitude of 7 (at least).
  15. Wait.... This thread was started in January?!? WTH???
  16. There should be a new official war between the fatman and Pot5. Both are PvP servers and we could get our own instanced server to fight a never ending war with.
  17. Just wait till people actually get out of work, It's still off-peak hours for the most of us.
  18. Unless the wallet also included funds from the rest of the members of the city and by giving it up, it created a less enjoyable life for everyone else. This example kinda misses an aspect of what the problem was. Also, most people don't receive redemption from choices like that. They request the police to do stuff all the time but rarely actually receive the wallet back...
  19. He's just getting association mixed up with causation, it's a common mistake. The boss dies faster because the raid DPS is higher, not the other way around. In no way will your DPS increase based on how faster the rest of your team will kill the boss. It's all based on how much damage you apply over the course of the fight.
  20. More people on the server gives you the illusion that the imbalance problem doesn't exist. It's only when the population down to something you can see with /who that it really becomes noticeable. (this of course is all pending how the new open world PvP is set up)
  21. People didn't get transferred to Fatman to re-unite characters with their re-roll... Complaining for transfers from high pop to (soon to be) high pop defeats the whole purpose of what BW is trying to do for now.
  22. Wow, not only do they open up another server clean of all the impatient re-rollers, but they also implemented it in a way to scare away those who are paranoid and ready to jump ship from the server.. This could potentially be the best community ever built! A place where truly dedicated players can gather and play for the joy of having fun.
  23. I always enjoyed the concept of what happens in a video game, should stay in a video game. But that's just my opinion.
