I too was after that chest piece last week. I farmed the mob that the net said it could be found on and all I got was credits each kill. After about 8 kills of credits only, I decided my karma was just that bad. So, i spent way more then some would say was worth it on the GTN. Though to me, I like each of my toons to have a specific look so it was worth it. Heck, I even pull out the mods from Columi and BH gear as IMO the styles are horrible. I loose the set bonuses by doing this, but I have the look I want.

Not to change subject as I have enjoyed reading this post. However, I think the powers that be should take note of the enthusiam shown by the OP and how it has changed to say he is going to cancel if he can't log in. It's truly a bummer.

May be said in another suggestion thread, even so, I will ask anyway. Please bring back the color crystal vendor. Now that I run dailies I can finally affor the 250k for a purple, but I cant affor the 2 milion+ that is asked for on the GTN. To further add to my suggestion, make Purple a color available through the leveling process. Very lame of you when the history of this games universe has them readily available, plus the billions of NPCs that carry purple, but my supposed special character cannot attain one. I understand what you mean. The greatest thing that frustrates me about this game is the fact that I couldn't level up my Sentinel with purple lightsabers. I know it doesnt make much sense, but it still bugs the heck out of me and I have yet to 'get over it'. Before 1.2 I could not get the credits, and I felt they would soon put it in a quest or something. Now, they are so highly priced that I still cant afford them (1.5+ mil on my server's GTN). Now that I am finally running dailies, I am trying to save up the creds, but 3-5 million will take me quite awhile, and as they grow more rare, the prices will just go up. Reminds me of the Sunriders Destiny crystal from SWG. Anyway, I am hoping so much that they allow it to be bought with Cartel coins, not because I approve of the way they went about it, but since I am a CE account, I should have the coins given to me. Still, very disapointed in the development team for this. IMO, very rude and jerk like decision since launch. Delekahn

Why do people never listen (or read). I said SOMETHING that allows them a way to keep thier name. Jeez, a guy cant even suggest anything around here even. I hate posting on these forums. If they simply allowed the option to change character and legacy names on the fly at least we ould figure something out and not be stuck with it after out first choice. And maybe SIMPLY is not the right word, but they could do it if they put thier minds to it.

Bioware, For transfers where people cannot get the names they so rightfully deserve, add a surname or something that the system will allow using the origin server name For one example, If I transferred Delekahn and his name was taken he would be named Delekahn-Vornsrk or something like that. You could do the same with Legacy names. It wouldnt even need to be part of the name, but maybe another title. Just something that can have the server allow it. Luckily I am getting most of my names that I got into early access for, but my Legacy name is lost and that is a real bummer. I can completely understand why people would be upset as I did lose one name that I got during Early Access. Really you guys should have put something in place to keep names as best as possible before the transfers went live. I would be totally fine with my origin Legacy name and a added VORNSK. But maybe others would not. Delekahn p.s. Please open up Character/Legacy names for being changed on the fly. No reason not to if you decide on a better name later. p.s.s. Please elaborate. I see more and more discussions with unreliable info. Tell us how to get a darn purple crystal. Before you all reply with flames/whatever, please remember: Magenta is not Purple Selling the pre 1.2 purples does not answer my question If our only option is PVP, then I'm just so sick of this crap. There is absolutely ZERO reason to withhold purple when THOUSANDS of NPCs use then, plus the HUGE precedent from Old Republic history. All I am asking for is a low level option for purple just like red, green, and blue.

I may sound irrational, but serious what you wrote above has made me so angry since launch that it has really hurt my enjoyment of the game. Dumb or not, its true. Versatility is most important. Please just a make a LFM finder that is simple in the fact that: A. I pull up one page with a list of LFMs B. I can pull up the same page, click create group, click what I am looking for and for what mission/play type. DDO has a great and simple LFM system, please check it out.

I totally agree about the monetary cost for the Legacy unlocks. I don't see me getting my mailbox or upgraded droid any time soon. Maybe if I do zero crafting and save save save....

I did not read all 79 pages, and I have a 50 so I get my month. But, what about the one friend I play this game once or so a week with, who has played since EA, but due to family and work constraints can not play more then a few hours a week. He deserves the free time too. We just got the toons we play together through chapter 1 a couple weeks back, so even though he's paid the same amount of fees as the rest of us, he gets nothing. You guys really should have based this off how many months of concurrent subscription time a player has or some way to see that they been here since the start and stuck with it Just seems more fair.

I tried to solo a low level word boss on a 50 and it kicked my butt due to its stupid specials. So Ill change my complaint; Why cant Bio give us low level purple color crystals on the Artifice trainer? lol

Yeah I just dont get why Bio refuses to give us a low level purple option.

If anyone knows, please tell me how to get a purple color crytal schematic or point me to where I can find out. And please let it not include lvl 50 stuff or PVP. Bioware, why does it hurt the game to sell lower level purple color schems on the Artifice trainer? Why?

Please clarify if 1.2 or after will allow us to have PURPLE color crystals at lower levels and if not, please explain your reasoning when thousands of NPC's have them.

My fantasy involved my Sentinel using two purple lightsabers from the start if not very early in his career. So, in that case, it has not been fulfilled. Please fix this Sir James! As far as the four choices, I would like a fully fleshed out space game in addition to the missions we currently have.

I usually get flamed or told to L2P when I say this but... My biggest disappointment has been how hard the game is to solo once you get to higher levels. I have all but completely abandoned my Sentinel as I get killed over and over and over again on Ilum and in fact ever since he got into the 40s he feels like the weakest Jedi EVER. I have him just running the one space daily for 2 daily commendations each day, I now have all the armoring and hilt mods and still I get pasted by a couple silvers. Since I have basically given up on him, I have worked on a Sniper and a Shadow the last couple of weeks. I am seeing similar issues as they get over 30 and into the 40s. My Shadow can take a much longer beating generally, though he still gets smacked around by silvers and elites and will die so frustratingly on a CLASS quest. By the way, I give my companions the best gear I can get for them and it doesn't seem to help, they all die so fast, the tank companions are horrible IMO. I do not want to give up and quit, but if things don't change I see myself leaving as I tend to feel more and more lately: 'why am I bothering' And to put it out there, the game up to this point is extremely fun. But dieing multiple times and then paying out the nose for repairs completely kills this fun Sorry to rant, but once I get started the frustrations just pour out...

This may already be in the list somewhere, but Id like the Devs to tell us WHY they choose to limit us to 5 weapon colors options for the majority of the game (Blue/Green/Yellow/Orange/Red), and why we cant have PURPLE (from an early level). Also, I would like to know if you are thinking about any kind of possibility in the future to start a character back at the beginning or allow us to repeat our class story/companion quests. Ill probably get flamed or in trouble for this, but I have to say again that it is really lame and even though I love Bioware, you guys are being JERKS for making purple such a pain in the arse to get. BOOOOO!

I tell you I dont try and run, I try and get to them, though of course I have tried to break LOS, but I'm slowed, so it aint easy. Normal string of events: I run/charge whatever to you. You slow/stun me and move away, my leap/break is used, you slow/stun me again. Your lightning or whatever skill it is hits me for a lot of dmg. Enough to kill me after a few seconds. I use my shield, it doesnt stop 100% of the dmg. It has a 3 minute timer so after the one use, if not dead during, dead soon after. Maybe I am panicking, but it feels to me like I am trying to get to you and do as much dmg as possible before you get away or kill me. Maybe the other team is just better at working together (or premades) and I am getting stuned by multiple sources. If the resolve is working, it sure dont feel like it. I've asked for help against ligntning in previous threads that were ignored. I read class faqs, and I have read many, many posts on these forums. Give me some helpful advice. Maybe I am not using the best sequence? I just can figure it out on my own as from my point of view, my breaks and leaps do nothing as the Inquiz gets away each time after I use them. Your right, all I see is lightning kicking my butt. Doesnt mean I aint trying.

Wow that was fast, normally my posts get little to no responses. Guess all it takes is a frustrated/hurried post and BOOM. I appreciate the construtive comment, was there one? My Sentinel is crap, finally got to Ilum the other day and though ohh nice, at last I can get some of this cool daily gear they all rave about. 10 deaths just trying to get through the second quest. I'm not the only one to post such frustrations. So, decide to level a different adv class, get into a WZ at lvl 18, and wham, get toasted, literally by lvl 44 Inquisitors. And I do use my force leap, my shield, anything I can think of. They stun me and slow me, after I break it they slow me again and I cant break it before I'm dead. I did fine againt the other combatents, but the Inquizzies are super OP IMHO. Yeah I aint the best player around but the lot of you must just be awesome studs cause I find it extrememlly difficult to play against an Inquiz. At least I keep trying, but thats getting harder and harder to do as I continually walk into a meat cooker. No wonder I am usually a lurker and am scared to post, back to my hole...
