  1. /facepalm Is it just me or are they punnishing the class forums when we behave well and rewarding us when we behave bad and posts in the wrong places?
  2. I think adding utility is the way to go but it has to be something that the dps get and the tank don't. Otherwise it's just better to take the guardian tank and stick to sentinel dps.
  3. I really like the idea to give Juggers a cooldown similar to bloodthrist that gives alacraty or something else. Makes them more useful in ops and gives them a dps cd.
  4. I haven't seen much changes in ops either but in fps and dailys its a lot of guardians and sentinels. Hardly seen any shadows at all, especially dps.
  5. I agree that phase walk should be one of the issues, it's something that affetcs all specs for both pve and pvp. It could be so much more and make shadows/assasins wanted a lot more if done correctly.
  6. I think that is a bad suggestion because it takes away some of the utility. Having a taunt on a dps(especially one with heavy armour and saber reflect) can be very useful sometimes. For instance if you hit enrage and both tanks die you can taunt the boss, pop cooldowns and face him away from the raid for a few secs which might give you the edge you need. Or you can taunt a take a terminate and similair with saber reflect.
  7. Im guessing it's something with the game. For some strange reason it perfers to pain lightning and other effects over imporant stuff like mobs when it gets to much. It is mostly seen on 16 man ops and on the fleet(the mailbox, mission boxes and cargo holds). It takes 3-5 sec to see the cargo holds on fleet sometimes. Its slightly annoying on fleet but in ops its wipe causing. Personally I have mostly had this problem with some of the trash on s&v. The really annoying times is when people can't see adds on Dash'rode, TC, trasher and such. And I heard a lot of people having problems with this so I really doubt it's the computers fault, it is way to common for that. It might be due to low ram though.
  8. Am I the only the actually thinsk Guardians should be nerfed a bit? They are bit over the top atm, not much though. I think some of their migation should be switched from armour to shield/absorb to actually make them more spiky than VGs. Also their cds could use slightly longer cooldowns, especially saber reflect needs to be looked at. Possibly compensated by giving them more aoe threat somehow. But the important thing would be to do small changes and not broad sweeping nerfs that BW seems to like so much.
  9. Yeah Xalek is the most shallow and boring companion in the whole game. "I like to kill stuff", repeat 5 times and you got his story.
  10. Did some compersions between high stats and high end to see the loses for each slot. Ignoring A mods and related enhancmenents since they give higher main stat which is not interesting. The low end enhancments are not available in game currently. KD implants/ears are might better than veracity since you lose 36 tertiary stats and get 72 end over the veracity one. The mods and enhancements have much worse ratio, usually about slightly less than 1 end for 1 tertiary stat.   11. Been looking through the various enhancments there is and saw that there is craftable 31 enhancments with low end and high tertiary stats. For an example immuninty enhancment. I assuming they are reversed from somewhere? But what are the soruces? The database(ask mr robot) didn't contain any drops with them. Or are they just in the databases but not obtainable?
  12. It doesn't only still leave them behind spikness it also makes their mean migation worse than juggs(is a KBN post about it somewhere). So it kinda doesn't work. Your are scarificing a lot of stats for it. KD ears/implants are worth it, just 10 stats for 72 endurance. 2 or 3 hits might be to little 4 or 5 is probably better at reducing the rng. Part of the problem with terminte is that more cooldowns doesn't solve it since said cooldowns aren't guaranted. With deflection up it's still about 10% chance for it go through.
  13. I think a collection of all bosses with their dmg types and attacks togheter with tips and tricks would be very useful. Is there any collection like that somewhere?
  14. There are so many good questions that can be asked. It's a bit sad really because it shows how broken assasins are with pretty much all specs. The only exception might be deception pvp and madness pve. But they are stilll no that good. All the questions: 1. PvE tankspikness 2. PvE/PvP deception sustained dmg 3. PvE dps, why bring an assasin at all? Subpar dps and little utility. Deception/madness needs more utility. Also has no aoe. 4. PvP madness pretty much crap in pvp 5. PvE madness requiring reallly good play to get decent dps, need dps buff. 6. PvE/PvP Phase walk is bad, look at the phase walk alternative thread. So many things with it that makes it annoying to use for little benifit. 7. PvP tanks lacking something I split the questions as much as possible, some of them could probably be combined like 6 and 3. 4 and 5 etc. Personally I want to see 1, 4 combined with 5 and then some question about lack of utility/aoe and crappines of phase walk.
  15. Um the spikes can usually come at anytime due to bad rng. All cooldowns except overcharge saber reduced the chance of said spikes from happening, it doesn't eliminate it. Also the selfhealing brings assasin migation slightly higher than the others and you need to use htkx3 as soon as you can. It is a reactive mecahnicsm with a 3sec channelt that you want to use as soon as it comes up. It has nothing to do with spikiness since if you survive another 3 sec after the channel it was probably not due to htk but rather the healers or lack of followup attacks. Since you need to be so close to full it also means that assasins needs to be overhealed a lot more which in turn might make them need more healing that juggers/pt.
  16. It is kinda of a problem still though, very few stuff uses viral residue compered to artifical microbes. I got about 300-400 viral with 50 microbes. And then I have had to buy some stacks of microbs. There is just very little stuff you can make from it. Resolve stim and some implants is pretty much it.
  17. They were considered the best enrage tanks though so that was something if you hit the enrage.
  18. I think it would be better to just give 3-5 seconds more on the stacks and see how it goes. Not all specs need to work everywhere.
  19. The problem is that you can only really use it once or twice due to the cast time and cd. If the ability was split as suggested so many times before it would be much more viable. Your suggestion pretty much is the split idea.
  20. Saber reflect works on huge grenade nim I think? And yeah defense with huge grenade is wonky.

  22. Force shroud doesn't remove all effects. The tooltip is wrong. There is a lot of efffects that it doesn't remove. Right because a 16k swipe is not about 40% of your hp? Its even worse in 16man were swipe does about 24k if you dont shield/dodge. Have 69 gear with some 72. 15.5 k hit. http://www.torparse.com/a/354688 Doubt 20k is possible. 16man is about 24 k. About Golden fury. Its slightly tricky to keep the adds on any tank I would think. I would guess though that Guardians is the easiest though due to saber reflect. Aoe taunt is up every secon spawn and holding threat on those isn't a problem. Saber reflect should help a lot on those other times. You shouldn't need to use saber reflect on the boss at all unless you need it as an o **** button against isotope relase if you forget your buff. As an assasin its challenging but doable to hold threat on the adds. They do go lose from time to time. I usually do something like this: Wither->shock->discharge->taunt other mob->trash until shock/wither on the other one. It might be a problem when the taunt wheres off but the dps should have killed one add by then. I like tanking those adds, its both challening and fun, keeps you on your toes a bit:)
  23. One of the problems is that their "fixing" has made things more inbalanced since saber reflect either works on it or works on it after the change. Just look at the changes to Xeno, tfb scream, huge greande. So where exactly does saber reflect not work while force shroud does? They both have cds short enough aswell to be up for when you need it. The only exception I can think of is trasher swipe but that one comes pretty often. Blade turning has the same 5% chance to still hit bug as force shroud.
  24. Yeah the increase on the sub 30% is way to low. Some numbers: Two chars, an assasin and something else. Assuming that the time to kill is completly even, aka the last 10% takes as long time as the first. Assasin does 10% less dps(which is somewhere around what the dummy parses show). To catch up with the 10% less dps for 70% of the time how much does the dps increase have to be? It has to be(100-70*0.9)/30=1.2333... of normal dps. So the increase needs to be 23% higher for the last 30%. Considering that the sub 30% usually is faster than rest an dps increase of about 25% would be appropiate. We are not even near 23% as it is now. Kitru made a calculation about was it was a few days ago in someother thread.
  25. Then you could probably use overcharge saber. Gives heal and dr, perfect for stuff like that.
