  1. I support this. Too much Mandalorian stuff being pumped into star wars. I get they're cool, but there is a lot in this universe aside from them.
  2. As far as story goes it was fine for more classes as others have mentioned. One size fits all is just bad design. I more so had a problem with that being the only content though. Peak for me is Ossus/Onderon because I actually feel like I'm playing an MMO with the open world and group content. Kotfe/et was almost exclusively instanced solo content that it was an oddity to see anyone. Made for a good solo rpg, but a lot of people left due to no content outside of that. Swtor has always had a problem where it doesn't know if it's an MMO or a solo rpg.
  3. I know its been suggested, but a small Onderon SH sectioned off and seperated by outdoor walkways. Doesn't need to be a palace, think more of a villa style As far as Zakuul stuff goes after doing all the Zakuul content the aesthetic is stale on me
  4. I made a post about this a couple months ago, showing the different imperial trooper variants. Mostly just the color patterns. https://imgur.com/gallery/ysHFkrP https://imgur.com/gallery/9StPVlP Original thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=980840&highlight=imperial+trooper Overall would love to have the trooper armor added, no real reason not to when there are other variants. And this is coming from a CE owner, I would love to see more IAs and BHs live out their soldiering dreams
  5. If you can't make it a house deco item please add more machines. The side air ships on the promenade have other slots there, add the emp machines there. Add 5 more emp slots in star cluster and club vertica, don't need to have them all bunched up you can place them far in the back where the npc casino is. Add 3-5 emp slots on Mek-Sha. Don't know why Mek-Sha was ignored for emp slots but had everything else placed there.
  6. Pretty sure if you click "read more" on the launcher where it says there is maintenance today it tells you when it will be back up. (10AM PDT, 1700 UTC). So in about 22 minutes
  7. Definitely not the best solution, but think we can get a daily restart on the server so the emperor machines reset at least?
  8. Got to say its a little disappointing that some of the new deco items were supposed to be onderon rep items(onderon rep vendor is still missing a few, even excluding the taxidermy stuff). But at least they are in game now. The bugs with the emperor slots is a bit annoying. None of them work, even the ones on the top floor don't. Would of been nice if they added one on Mek-Sha, maybe its just a problem with Nar Shaddaa itself
  9. Decided to go there for a change of scenery for the event this time around but couldn't find the Emperor's machine so had to go back to Nar Shaddaa. If there isn't one I think it would make a good edition, no point in going there for the event if you have to go back to Nar to spend the emperor tokens anyways
  10. Found two other variants(kinda, not the biggest differences but they are there) https://imgur.com/gallery/9StPVlP would be down for either of these as well.
  11. Another swoop event? We just had it...Aren't the events supposed to be cycled in an order of sorts? Still waiting for the pirate incursion to come back around.
  12. For me its pretty underwhelming. Its tedious and the worst part is with this event we have events like the pirate invasion, rakghoul event, gree event all pushed back with the introduction of a new event. I guess its not the worst thing in the world, some will find it fun but I would rather play my character for an event than ride a speeder in 3 different ways. Was hoping the speeders would of actually been fast at least. Would of rather had pirate incursion this week than this event, but at least its new content that some will find fun, just not for me.
  13. Pretty sure the reason world pvp was dead on release was because there wasn't any reward. Currently if you want to pvp you can do WZs or world pvp. WZs give rewards(lock boxes, tech frags, weekly/daily mission rewards), and open world pvp gives you nothing. So why would a pvper spend their time pvping in the open world when WZs allow them to pvp AND be rewarded with in game progression? World pvp isn't dead because its not fun, its dead because there is an alternative that actually rewards you. Pretty sure people wouldn't do FPs if they gave zero rewards(loot,trophies,daily/week missions, ect.). As much fun as something can be people still gravitate towards things that reward them with a sense of progression/rewards. Adding an exp boost in a pvp instance wouldn't inspire pvp, but it would help fill the instances and in no way be mandatory to play the game. Not a complete fix for the issue, but a start. Additionally they can have daily/weekly missions to kill people in the open world, have players drop tech frags or other loot, ect.
  14. Could take the warcraft approach and give x% increase to exp and renown while in a pvp instance. That would provide a long term incentive to be there, and if you don't want to be in a pvp instance then you don't have to. Nothing gained or lost if you are a pve player, things would just continue on as normal.
  15. It's really not though, they are pretty distinguishable even if looking from a good distance, two distinct looks. (makeb version is slimmed down on the shoulders, very different helmet, less noticeable imp symbols, ect.) There is already a thread on this in the suggestions forum, I wouldn't mind this option either but would rather this post not turn into a paid CE vendor unlock post since we already have one going(and would rather focus on just this set)
  16. They saw that the old UI wasn't broken and working fine so they remedied this by breaking it.
  17. A long time ago this was how you summoned companions(through crew skill window), the summon button was near where the current level of a companion is displayed now. The reason why I would like to be able to summon comps through this window instead of the companions and contacts window is because the crew skill window sorts by companion level. The crew skill window also isn't diluted by ect. contacts(non comp story characters and alliance contacts that make the list really long, alliance alerts as well) Not saying that they should remove the ability to summon through the companion window, just that I would like them to have it added to the crew skill window as well.
  18. I'd love this actually. Was suddenly interested in the wampa and other creatures because I never felt like using them until now, but the collars are so damn big.
  19. As an owner of the collector's edition I run around with my imperial trooper armor and get questions about where I got it. Once people are enlightened to the fact it comes from the collector's edition it makes them a bit disheartened. Currently someone who does not own the collector's edition can either use the makeb assault armor(its trooper armor but doesn't look the same), or use the volatile shock trooper armor(looks like imperial trooper armor but has all these flashing lights on it that ruins it). I'm guessing the reason this hasn't been added in yet is for the exclusivity of something that was meant to be tied to a locked vendor staying tied to that vendor. I think I found a work around, there is an npc only variant of the armor that exists. Its the same armor set but has a different color pallet for its primary and secondary colors.(see below. I am on the left, the npc is on the right holding the rifle) I applied a white/medium grey dye to try to match the npc. https://imgur.com/gallery/ysHFkrP I am the trooper on the left, the one on the right is an npc on the imperial fleet. There are a lot of minor differences that make the set itself different, primary and secondary color positions are different in spots, the chest piece itself has different controls on the center of the chest piece(npc variant has a big red button). Just take a look, this way the collectors edition is still exclusive(technically the same armor set, but it has its differences) and this armor set can be added in for everyone else. Really though something as simple as standard issue armor shouldn't be so exclusive.
  20. I wouldn't call minor events actual events. There isn't anything going on during those times that give you anything to do really. Conquest already comes so easily that I don't even bother to look at the objectives added in the minor events, and for all my concern the weeks in between the major events are just grace periods leading up to the next event. I wouldn't mind them making every week a major event, with having the events have their grace period during 1 month for the nightlife event and another month for xmas. Right now the weeks in between events are kinda stale, just not as much to do really and it shows.
  21. I've had both at the same time, just that I used a kingpin contract while I had a henchman contract active and noticed I couldn't use the terminal until I dropped the henchman contract, then I could grab both. Perhaps they were for the same planet
  22. I see what you two are talking about now. According to the wiki the regions are just suggested regions for time zones, despite them being located in the same area.
  23. Starforge has a noticeably higher player count, but Satele Shan still has a healthy player base. I would label SS as a medium pop server and SF as a high pop. With this in mind SF has shorter queues, but its not a complete night and day difference. Because layers/instances exists the open world isn't really affected by pop count. Could have 100 people on alderaan but only 25 or so people in each layer. Also to note that with a higher pop count I think(been awhile since I compared) that SF has a more rampant credit issue with how things are priced on the GTN(inflation). Both servers have toxic general chat on the fleet though, there is no escaping that. About the only differences that might be impactful aside from pop count would be ping and time zones. SS is west coast, SF is east cost(pretty sure), so if you want more people from your time zone then you could go to the one that is for your region.
  24. If you take a kingpin contract after accepting a henchman contract you won't be able to pick up the kingpin contract because having a henchman contract disables the ability to interact with the terminal that gives the mission. Could also be that you didn't wait to get the mission? Getting the mission requires you to stand in place for a long time as your character, reads, scans, ect. Don't know if you cancel this if you can pick up the mission or not. Also making sure you are of level to do the mission. Like if a level 25 bought a kingpin contract on Voss I don't know if they would even be eligible for it at the terminal. Just a few problematic scenarios I could think of.
