  1. I'm really hoping for more Quinn like the little one on one's we've been having with other companions lately. I know he's probably low down on the list because Devs seem to dislike him so much but it's not like we've really had any content with him since Iokath. Considering he gave up everything (including the Empire) to join my Warrior on Iokath, it kinda feels like a lot of things are currently unsaid between them.
  2. I'm rather sad about the lack of Theron and find the reason they gave for Lana tacking on pretty dumb. We've already gone on a flashpoint mission with Tau, or Rivix depending on our faction, so I don't know why she's so suddenly untrusting of them, and absolutely needs to go with us, now. (Feels like they're just using it as an excuse to tack her on.) My Imperial Saboteurs are still bugged right now so I can't continue the story with them unless they fix it before 7.0 (or tell us the bug won't affect future content) but if there's any Saboteur stuff in the flashpoint I have to wonder how she's going to react. It's one thing to know the Commander is a Saboteur, it's another to actually see it in action, especially when it comes to doing damage to her former allegiance. I miss having Theron show up, he only makes appearances Pubside lately so my Imps are feeling pretty left out right now.
  3. My Saboteurs are currently sat waiting to do the story because the prior 'fix' did not actually fix the bug for them so they're all stuck on hold so I don't risk going forward and possibly ruining their Saboteur status for future content. That said, it feels like there's only so much more we can do to sabotage before we're either found out, or the faction we're sabotaging starts looking really, really stupid. My Imps did so much damage to the Empire/offed a few Dark Council members during Onslaught. Sure, every Saboteur option that has followed since hasn't been overly severe compared to that for the most part, but there's only so long things can keep going wrong around them (when pretty much everyone should know how successful/strong they are by this point) before people either get suspicious, or the faction starts looking exceptionally dumb at ignoring all the red flags. Either the Saboteur stuff continues forever and makes no sense, we get found out/get the option to formally join the other faction, or the faction we're helping goes 'lol you've done all this for us, thanks, now get out' and leaves us to hang. I would much prefer being able to join the other faction, even if it only works from a story stand point (i.e doing the Republic story instead of the Imperial story as an Empire class, but not being able to group with Pubs or go to their fleet, etc) because at least that's something and better than the current state of not knowing where the whole thing is going. Ideally I would like a full faction swap, but I just don't know if their coding would be able to manage it. I'm already wondering how well things will work when it comes to grouping/strongholds/etc when say, a Warrior class player, is now considered a Jedi Guardian with the combat swaps.
  4. Well the new story content is part of Manaan and the new flashpoint, so essentially one planet with a weekly, and one flashpoint. 6.0 had two planets, one of which had a Weekly, the other had various quests/heroics, and a flashpoint. 6.0 had more content story wise than what 7.0 looks to. You can't really include the combat styles/loadout/weapon outfitter in that list, that's not 'content' that's just fluff they've spent the majority of their time and resources on.
  5. I would also like to know if there's any update for this. 7.0 grows closer and I really would like to be able to take my Imperial's through the story, but can't right now with this bug. Even an update to say that going ahead with the broken cutscene won't break saboteur status would at least be something. As it is, I don't want to risk it so I have several Imperial's who are now stuck.
  6. I'm a solo player, been playing subbed 5+ years straight, before the 7.0 stuff I played pretty much every day, the closest I get to group content is joining up with someone for Heroics sometimes. The only thing that's going to stop me logging in are all these changes coming with 7.0 because it's so deeply un-solo friendly no matter how they try to shill it.
  7. Saying you don't need high gear for solo/story content... did people forget that the Mando flashpoint has had to be nerfed 3-4 times at least, because people were having trouble doing it in just the basic gear they got from doing the story and not grinding gear out? If they continue making solo story content overtuned like that, then yes, people will need better gear. Even in 306 set bonus gear that flashpoint can still be a pain because random mobs hit harder than any of the actual bosses do. Having a higher gear rating certainly helps take the edge off, especially if they insist on forcing on you a low influence companion (last time I did the Enclave one, Rivix was still only coming in at influence 1 for me compared to Arn's 25) combined with no combat droid to help, then it's going to get messy. Seeing that gear will now be down synced on even tertiary stats in non level 80 content it will be even more of a pain if it's knocking down our accuracy/crit/alacrity. The Conquest gear we can't mod looks very Endurance heavy for some reason which kinda sucks and hurts even more if you want to meet your classes stat break points.
  8. It feels like they're trying to make the game as non alt/solo friendly as they possibly can. First they limit the Weeklies you can do to try and funnel everyone into the same location, and then they double the Conquest points needed. Both Conquest/Weeklies are what solo players will have to rely on to be able to gear up, and they've made it as hard as possible to do so to make it take even longer, whilst also telling us we need to play what they want us to play. I've unsubbed. I was willing to give things a go but every new Dev post that comes out has made me sadder to the point I'm not even playing the game anymore. I login for the login reward and then quit. I was super excited when 7.0 was first announced in the livestream and we were told that we could swap to a different combat spec. I was excited that my light sided Warrior/Inquisitor could swap to the combat specs of their Jedi counterpart - and then that excitement was quickly snuffed out as every new snippet of information about what was being changed came out, to the point I no longer feel like playing any of my characters, let alone all the new ones I had planned to make for 7.0 initially. If you're just trying to drive your solo players away then good job, you've accomplished it.
  9. I've had a non stop subscription for the 5+ years I've been playing this game and I've now unsubbed. When 7.0 was first announced I was incredibly excited that finally my Light Warrior/Inquisitor could swap to the combat styles of their Jedi counterpart - and then that excitement immediately vanished when the rest of the info came out about nerfing classes and forcing you to choose between utilities/abilities that you always had access to. I was reluctantly willing to give it a chance but every new bit of information about 7.0 that came out filled me with dread. This however was the final nail in the coffin for me. My sub doesn't run out until January so I will see the story on some of my classes (most of my Imperial's however are STILL stuck waiting to advance their story because of the Saboteur bug that is still not fixed) and then I am done with this game until -maybe- the next story segment. 6.0 gearing had issues for sure, but it is leagues better than this. You could do whatever type of content you wanted and always progress with your gear, but with 7.0 that's impossible. As a solo player my only way to gear is through conquest (now doubled in points!) and running stuff like Dailies/Weeklies that now reset. This is incredibly unfriendly for the player and takes away choice. I have stuck with the game through some horrid decisions (5.0 was torture) but this is just a step too far. You managed to kill my excitement and enthusiasm for the game bit by bit, and this was the final part that just made me say no more. I'm truly saddened by these decisions the devs are making.
  10. I hate everything about this. What happened to 'play your own way'? Because: Does not sound like 'play your own way.' Also, who says that me running the same thing will negatively impact my overall experience? Because I sure didn't. I'd rather run the same thing than be forced into something I hate. Also if gear is going to be static, how are we supposed to hit accuracy and alacrity levels now? Other than relying on augments, it's going to be hard without drastically going over what you need stat wise unless that's completely changing. I'm not too thrilled about the removal of the DvL system, it was handy for earning points and useful if you wanted to play a Neutral character without making them bipolar when it came to choices. I guess I'll have to pick up Diplomacy on my neutral Inquisitor so he can stay that way, something the toggle made easy when I was playing him. What about tech fragments? Are those also being phased out? I assume so if we can no longer buy anything with them once 7.0 hits but I'd like confirmation so I can just trash the gear I have ahead of time.
  11. They've not said anything about removing them but at the same time zero mention has been made of them being useful. From what has been posted so far they only mention the new currencies needed for buying/upgrading gear, so either they're getting rid of tech frags, or they're going to be worthless. Either that or they're refusing to mention them for some reason.
  12. Agreed. I hated 5.0 as a solo player because the only way for me to really gear at the time was non stop running Heroics every day and doing the Weeklies. Which meant it took me months to gear just one character. I neglected all my other alts and by the end of it I was sick to death of Heroics and Weeklies. 6.0 was great because you could do what you want and gear, you weren't forced to just do one thing, and now it looks like I'll be back to grinding Heroics on one stealth character again whilst also somehow trying to complete a lot of conquest to earn the currencies I need to upgrade. I don't know what was wrong with tech fragments, it was so useful, and now they're throwing it away to make more currencies (that they once stated they wanted to get rid of a lot of currencies because it was 'confusing') and now they're adding even more. Galactic Seasons will also throw a spanner in the works in making you do a bit of everything, because in doing that, you're not focusing on one thing so you can get your gear. Instead I just see people doing another Hammer Station/Red Reaper grindfest.
  13. Wow, if they're doubling the score needed for Conquest whilst also dropping the amount of points you earn per activity, that's a real slap in the face for solo players who will have to rely on Conquest to earn gear. Meanwhile I'm sure a lot of people will end up repeating the Hammer Station grind of 6.0. Add in the fact you now must complete the Dailies in a day (which really hurts for some planets that have Heroics that are way too long or way too rng) it's just definitely going to hurt a solo player.
  14. That's what I used to do, some of the Heroics on certain planets are either far too long, rng based, or just outright annoying, so I'd always do the easier ones and finish the Daily the next day. This change will now make it impossible. Either I'll have to skip certain planets, or I'll be forced to play only my stealth characters (or worse, select a stealth combat class as my second choice on all characters just to circumvent it.) I don't know what was wrong with tech fragments and how gearing in 6.0 was. It was super easy, could be done at your own pace and didn't lock you into one thing. In 5.0 I ended up spam running Heroics for months as it was the only way I could really gear as a solo player, making me absolutely hate Heroics/Weeklies and now it looks like I'll be stuck doing the exact same thing again.
  15. So that's why they're changing the reset for Dailies and Weeklies, to screw over the solo players who have to use it and the now double points required Conquest, to get their gear. Why go from something like 6.0 where it was so easy to gear up and everyone could eventually reach the same level, to something overly complicated that doesn't help anyone.
  16. So if gear can only be upgraded by certain ways now (adding yet more different currencies despite saying ages ago you wanted fewer different currencies??) what happens to tech fragments? Are those not going to be used for anything anymore? Does this mean gear i-rating is going to be locked, so you can only ever reach xlevel item rating if you don't do OPs? Kinda sucks if that's the case as with tech fragments you could eventually reach the max i-rating whether you farmed Heroics or OPs just maybe at a slower rate. I'm not sure why you're reinventing the gearing wheel yet again.
  17. I'd also like an update. We had a response a while back that requested we pm with character info and that they were looking into it, but no information since. The majority of my Imperial's are Saboteur's and with 7.0 creeping closer it would suck if I couldn't take them through the story. Even just a 'this one cutscene won't break your saboteur status' answer would do. It'd suck but I'd just space bar through it and pretend it didn't happen, but I don't want to risk this breaking the saboteur status on my characters because it would ruin the character for me.
  18. I've Reset the mission both before and after today's patch, still get the cutscene when I shouldn't.
  19. My Imperial Saboteur's are still getting the cinematic update from Pardax during Relentless Ambitions, even though today's patch was supposed to have fixed it if you took the Saboteur option to ignore the mission during Conflicting Priorities. 'Players who declined the Mission in “Conflicting Priorities” as a Saboteur no longer incorrectly receive an update cinematic in “Relentless Ambitions” Mission.' My Saboteur's are still getting the same update cinematic with the patch that's supposed to fix it, as they were when Relentless Ambitions first released.
  20. According to the patch notes for today's patch: 'Players who declined the Mission in “Conflicting Priorities” as a Saboteur no longer incorrectly receive an update cinematic in “Relentless Ambitions” Mission.' However, my Imp Saboteur's who declined the mission during Conflicting Priorities (aka taking the Saboteur option and telling them to ignore it) are still getting the same update cinematic with the patch today as they were receiving before the 'fix' when Relentless Ambitions first came out. After agreeing to send Akaavi on the mission, my Imp's then get the cutscene with Pardax about Command thanking us for the Intel we sent and thus they were able to destroy at least half the shipment. I believe this is what the patch is supposed to have fixed (I shouldn't be getting this update as I told them to ignore the mission) but I've tested it on a few of my Saboteur's and they are still wrongly receiving this mission update.
  21. Not a fan. I did the Dailies because a lot of them I could do solo. I didn't do a single Weekly because it required group content. If people were relying on Login/Dailies over the Weeklies during Season 1, then there was probably a reason for it. Also if the Weekly stuff requires open area mobs, it's going to become a nightmare as a lot of time, people will not group so you're just going to be fighting a ton of people for the same objective.
  22. I would also like an update. Last response I got to my post was that they were looking into it but nothing else so far. I've several Imp's on hold because of it.
  23. I've not seen much at all so far - but I'm also worried about where things will go for Theron, and for others.
