  1. What about using the Medicine Operative guide and just substituteing the correct abilities? http://dulfy.net/2017/03/27/swtor-5-0-medicine-operative-pve-guide-by-mac/
  2. Hello! Do you guys accept new or returning players? I played before back at launch and had a 50 Imp Agent Sniper, but I have since returned and decided to start fresh and level a brand new character on a new server. I'll likely be playing casually while leveling up, but may play more seriously at endgame.
  3. Hello! Do you guys accept new or returning players? I played before back at launch and had a 50 Imp Agent Sniper, but I have since returned and decided to start fresh. 4. Hello. I noticed you guys also consider re-rolls. Are there any specific minimum requirements you look for ahead of time? I realize re-rolls are a gamble, and I don't really have a good or impressive raiding resume for SWTOR (only had a lv50 Sniper on a different server, and all my friends quits shortly after) however, I do have extensive raiding experience in both WoW and FFXI. Should I go ahead and fill out an app and see what happens? My main concern is I don't want to waste anyone's time. I only just returned to this game about a week or so ago (GW2 didn't hold my attention long) and I have begun leveling a Gunslinger (Lv30 right now, I believe. I would be higher but... Torchlight 2).
  5. Just because someone genuinely doesn't care if they were ahead of somebody on time, doesn't mean the event can't be recorded. It's still server 'history'. Plus, these threads are always good for players who may be looking for a new raiding guild, not just for stroking one's e-peen. Pretending to be a forum moderator never helps anyone.
  6. No rhyme or reason. Frankly, I don't think it matters at all, and I do not believe it warrants any kind of reasoning or justification. I think its exactly the same as a male playing a male character. It just doesn't matter in the least.
  7. I couldn't care less about loading times. But I just switched from a GTX 480 to a GTX 680 and my game barely improved. (I have 6GB of RAM with an i7 920 running at 4.0GHz) It really is unacceptable that the game itself is actually my bottleneck.
  8. I have to admit, I'm surprised by the largely negative reaction this is getting. I just never considered Medpacks as a proper solution to countering Operation mechanics. It should serve as an "oh crap!" button, and nothing else. I just cant justify in my head why anyone would need a 3rd party source of out-side healing every 3 minutes in an Operation encounter. They have already explained that this is their design choice from this point forward anyway, so there really is nothing to worry about. Besides, there's a reason we have healers in this game, and trust me, they like hitting their buttons just as much as you do!
  9. Both Tactics and Assault Specialist are viable DPS speccs. Theoretically, Assault does higher DPS, but as mentioned, it is less forgiving on ammo management than Tactics.
  10. We already hit Hammer Shot a lot, so that really wont be any different. Now that I think about it, the 6 second proc rate on Ionic Acc. puts it on par with Tactic's ability to regenerate 1 ammo every 6 seconds.
  11. Uhhh an ability going off on its own? Yeah, you're accidentally hitting it. Try changing its keybind, or moving it to another slot on your bars, and see if its still happening.
  12. Yeah, I don't think its a spit in face. Sure, our lucky burst is going to go away (as Assault), but this, in theory, should give us a more reasonable and consistent DPS. But I am curious as to how much this will effect us. I feel like HiB every 6 seconds is a bit too harsh, and frankly, may make the specc a bit too boring and mechanical to play. Not to mention its our main ammo regeneration/heat venting system, which is really going to strain our rotation. It's bad enough Incendiary Round/Missile is so expensive. Honestly, I'm surprised we didn't see any Assault Plastique changes, as its currently a theoretical DPS loss to even have. The only bonus is its range.
  13. If by "ruining" you mean "balanced", then I guess you got it right. Commandos/Mercs were loaded with too many +% healing bonuses, while having numerous abilities to load cells/vent heat, on top of damage reduction buffs. You're insane if you don't think they were loaded with too much passive utility. Yeah, passive. Hitting Supercharge Cells/Gas is not hard, and its ready ridiculously fast.
  14. all i get from that is you don't like WoW. which is an awesome opinion. also, there are quite a few spreadsheets now with better numbers to look at. but again, without combat logs, its all theory. but its better than some random person in general claiming to do X amount of DPS.
  15. Bad analogy. Movies should make you think, otherwise, you're probably watching the wrong movies. Anywho...
  16. lol? how does WoW redefine caps and DR?
  17. I could have sworn this was a gathering profession. In fact, nothing in the codex entry implies this is a mission crew skill, quite the opposite actually. Let me go see the Slicing trainer... Yep, <Gathering Trainer> tag... Not profitable? Are you telling me that when you find a Slicing node, you aren't instantly making profit? You are literally picking up credits. Sounds to me like you just want to be able to send out 5 people on their own mission, then walk away from your PC while you reap the effort-free rewards. How about you go and do what the crew skill is about. GATHER.
  18. Really? Can you at least read the article before replying? It's clearly there, even the promo video INSIDE the article is displaying it. Seriously people...
  19. This is probably the best you could have ever done. Really happy about this. I can't wait for the text cooldown
  20. Isn't Rift close to reaching their first year? I don't have to point it out, right?
  21. Just my two cents, the animations are pretty and good-looking, but 90% of is it is just very very unnecessary. In my opinion, the final flash is all we need. Just so we know something has finished its cooldown. Re-designing the GCD is whats hurting the game, big-time. Because of this change, it is very difficult for me to tell when things are actually even on cooldown, because if I'm in the midst of a GCD, it darkens all of my buttons to make them look like they're on cooldown, or unavailable for some reason, such as not being on Cover or not meeting the requirements (for example: Followthrough and Takedown) As a Sniper, its almost impossible to tell if my Followthrough or Takedown are usable, as usually they would light up on their own when conditions were met, in this case, using Ambush or Snipe and 4.5s afterwards, or my enemy target being below 30% health. But the change has pretty much killed any buttons lighting up, at all. Mentally, I can remind myself that I can use these abilities, and when, but visually, it just doesn't work anymore. This change is highly intrusive, and it needs to be toned down. I'm happy with just some animation that lets me know an ability is off cooldown, and just that specific ability. Redesigning the global cooldown is the problem here.
  22. I'm having a really hard time understanding what you're claiming here. 86 on metacritic is quite good. Are we playing semantics on the word rave? I know you wouldn't hit that reply button, searched for a link, and posted it, just for that. Right? Right?? And if you're referring to the players score... have you seen these forums? In fact, the quote you so foolishly quoted addresses this. There will be more QQ than anything. People love to complain, love to voice their be-all end-all opinions as fact, they just can't help themselves when it comes to hitting that New Thread button. So... yeah...
  23. Ship or Spaceports I'm only Lv40, but that's my vote. While leveling, you rarely have to go back to the Republic/Imperial fleet or Coruscant/Dromund Kaas unless you're in the middle of class quests that are either wrapping up a Chapter, or starting a new one. Because of this, it makes buying/selling things on the GTN very time consuming. Typically, if you're under Lv50, you're on any given planet doing quest, trying to level up, when suddenly you realize you need more inventory space or you need to sell some things. You'd then need to quick travel or take a taxi to the Spaceport, jump on your ship, fly to the Fleet, exit your ship, and walk to the GTN. And then you have to do all of that again (just backwards) when you decide to return to the planet to continue your quest. The shuttles on planets are a nice way of cutting out of the middle man, but unfortunately there's no shuttle ride back to where you left off.
