Nothing new here. There's lots of similarities between the Mass Effect games and SWTOR in general.

The story in itself is the same for both genders. The basic difference resides on the flirting options and romance choices. In this case, the male agent have two (better) romance options (females get only one), the males can have a one-night stand with Watcher Two and have more flirt dialogue options with other female NPCs, fitting a more James Bond-ish playstyle. But since the OP plans to play a Chiss, (s)he can stick with a female agent, since there's a nice romance subplot with another Chiss on Hoth. And, of course, Jo Wyatt's voice acting is pretty good.

Two questions: 1- If the Veteran difficulty is balanced around companions with influence level 20 and we must use the companions provided by the story, how to proceed on chapter 1? Because the only companion provided is Darth Marr and he's unavailable afterwards. Shall we start on Story mode, stop playing when we get Marr, grind influence and then replay on Veteran mode? 2- Couldn't help but notice on the livestream the "invisible foe" bug from chapter 3 remained unfixed. There are other combat bugs, like the skytroopers shooting before ending their landing animation (also on chapter 3), the skytroopers phasing through a closed elevator door (chapter 5) and the infamous 70 meter suppressing fire spammers from chapter 10. Are these bugs going to be fixed or just the difficulty is being addressed and nothing else?

I'll tell you my experiences with Jedi Knight and Smuggler female romances. One of my JK's just fooled around with Doc, the other went through the marriage process. Both romances were recognized on KotFE Chapter 2. One of my Smugglers wanted to keep the relationship with no strings attached, the other married Corso. The first romance wasn't recognized on Chapter 2, only the latter.

In my experience, the hardest pieces to get are the Resurrected ones (so far, I've only completed the Smuggler set). Arkanian pieces are the most prevalent drops (completed all the 8 sets), Dreadguard comes in second (7 completed, missing only the bracers to finish the Consular set), Yavin and Underworld tied in third (6 sets completed each).

Well, the problem was I already had a Scrapper and a Ruffian scoundrels and wasn't keen on having 2 toons with the same discipline. Rerolled him? NOOOO! I liked the character and I wasn't so fond of the Ruffian one, so I ended up rerolling her as a Gunslinger.

Bumping again to inform that apparently the 372.90 version finally fixes the issues. Installed here and haven't noticed any problems so far (GTX 750 Ti / Win 7 x64). I don't know if it's relevant, but on this discussion thread, we can read the following:

Stockpile them only if you plan to level an alt (they're legacy bound). Otherwise, reclaim them anyway. You don't get influence, but you'll still get the credits, the companion gift (with a chance of a mount) and the armor piece.
