  1. Bioware now have a history of making and breaking promises. Their silence is normally how they respond to things they don't want to answer. Is it any wonder the game population is shrinking?
  2. Give up dude. Let go, dont give them your cash - they dont deserve a damn penny. They are nothing short of arrogant as they continue to ignore VALID concerns. Is it any wonder less people login every day?
  3. I feel for you on PoT5. I logged in on Rep fleet and saw 43 people. I really feel for you poor souls. Stuck on a dying server in a dying game - but its classic Bioware. Ignore all the issues, pat each other on back for doing a great job, ignore the community and then wonder why no one is playing their game thinking that throwing endless XP bonus week/ends then forever will fix it. It wont.
  4. Yup. Biowares white elephant isnt canon -

    POT5 dead

I actually saw 43 people on fleet for the republic today on PoT5. 43! Those poor souls stuck on a dead server in a dying game
  6. I really don't see why you lot are bothering to sub to this game any more. You all knew last year that PvP had no future when the so called 'Community' Manager said 'No' to almost every question asked. With Battlefront 3 due in November, PvP will once and for all be dead and just be some casual mess worse than it is now. I feel your pain, because SWTOR PvP is fun but when you look at the line up on the stream, they all look like a bunch of idiots who have zero clue how to manage a successful MMO and as for the new designer and design director - well, its not surprising there has been a huge decline in playing population since 3.0 and their arrival. Unsub and do yourself a favour - they don't deserve ANY money. (PS mine runs out this week and I am gone!)
  7. Its probably an announcement to announce the announcement of this announcement. Expect 1.30 trailer with 30 seconds taken by intro with an expected release date for Sept/October.
  8. Does nothing to address the under laying issue of low server populations brought on by lack of end game and outdated F2P mechanics.
  9. Mids is broken right now, thanks to Biowares inability to listen to early feedback. However, they claim to be fixing bolster when 3.2 arrives, leaving it broken for 6 months (how nice of them). FYI - Bolster has NEVER worked in all its shapes and/or forms, so don't hold your breath and expect another trademark Bioware **** up.
  10. Ghisallo is a fanboy. To him, problems do not exist. It really proves just how bad Bioware are at Community Management when they can't even be bothered to post about SWTOR and continue to ignore the ongoing latency problems. Cantina Tours are pointless as it tends to be the same faces over and over asking the same generic questions. Bioware forget that the EU is part of their game also. It doesn't take much to set up a 'feedback thread' on the forums prior to holding a developer answer session. You just need to work smarter, which is why we are bang out of luck. Look at customer support and how out dated those sticky threads are, almost as out of date as the ones on this forum. Between the 3 of them, they have zero strategy of how to manage the community and without a thriving community, MMOs can't survive, which probably is another reason to explain the HUGE drop in numbers
  11. Theres just not enough players to do that. Look at all the pvp servers especially, most of them are 'light' population and this is despite x2 xp. They were told mids bolster was broken on the PTS and that Ship components added to PvP stats but as normal, they ignore any actual feedback and pushed it out live anyway. Fast forward 5 months later and Bolster is being LOLFixed with the next update but don't hold your breath. With the changes to resolve being pointless, it will no doubt create new problems. FYI, Bolster has never worked correctly since it was introduced LOLNaked bolster being the funniest
  12. Bioware don't pay any attention to the PTS and/or its forum. Which explains why all the bugs that are highlighted never get fixed until 4-6 months after going live. Running an MMO is a 24 hour operation, Bioware are yet to figure that out.
  13. Laughable now. I hope everyone is feeling valued as a paying customer. Just over 7 days in to this and now its getting to the next level with disconnects
  14. No point arguing with a fan boy Tux. He has ignored my post, pouring cold water on his outdated facts. Funny that.
  15. Just because people subscribe, doesn't mean they play. SWTOR actually sold 2 million copies at launch but only 1.7 million actually played at launch. And if Blizzard lost 500k players, it wouldnt be noticed, in SWTOR it would be,. huge difference. Ask yourself. Do you think Bioware are doing enough to attract and retain players? If you do, good for you. However, many would disagree with you and so would the 'light' population servers
  16. Ah the fan boys always rush of and dig up OLD 2013 information. Yes it was posted in 2014 but based on 2013 revenue. Now lets look at 2014 in DETAIL and pour ice cold water on your fanboy BS. SWTOR revenues DOWN Q3 2014 (up to Sept 2014 which includes Strongholds) No numbers, sheer embarrassment as its lumped with SIM CITY. Lets look at this in more detail - quote directly from the report - This increase was driven by a $476 million increase in revenue primarily from the FIFA and Battlefield franchises, and Titanfall. This increase was partially offset by a $181 million decrease in revenue primarily from the SimCity, Crysis and Dead Space franchises, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Clear? And MMOs move fast. There has been a HUGE drop in players online since 3.0 hit. EA use the word 'active' - that could include posting on a forum, logging in for 5 minutes. Not discussing numbers, means something to hide. That torstatus website has shown just how bad things are. First time I have seen it, so not sure how accurate it is.
  17. Log on and see for yourself. 150 people on Republic Fleet on TRE @530pm BST. No 2nd instance, just the one. Sure, you will probably argue its strongholds taking people away - there were 40 people in them, as I checked there too. Evidence is all around, you just need to be bothered to find it.
  18. Maybe if you actually pointed out it was the video, instead of just jumping on that high horse. Either way who really cares.
  19. May the fanboyism be with you. But seriously, the truth must really hurt.
  20. And after the expansion, WOW picked up. Yes, numbers do drop but SWTOR was already close to rock bottom. WoW would have on average 5-6 million players online after the drop, SWTOR would be in the region of well under 1 million. Give that there's so few servers, its noticed more. F2P restrictions are a reason, lack of GOOD content is another and maybe, players are sick of the endless bugs faced since 3.0 - even the current EU server issues are driving people away.
  21. EA can't shut this down even if they wanted to. They have this game under licence agreement, so they must see out the distance, which I believe ends next year or 2017 or pay Disney a huge bailout fee, which wouldnt have looked appealing to Disney prior to signing away certain SW games to them.
  22. Check the server population right now. ALL but one are light. 2-3 months, most (apart from the US servers) would be Standard. I don't need to prove anything - everyone in the game can see populations getting smaller. If you can't see it, you must be blind or all alone in your stronghold.
  23. Ok, so lets just pretend everything in the game is perfect - opposite to what he is saying. What other reason can you conjure up in the rapid decline of player numbers? The decline has happened since 3.0 arrived. The Red Eclipse, which is 'standard' population by 10am/11am not only 2 months ago, is now light at 2pm/2.30pm . Players aren't feeling it, so maybe there is some truth in what he is saying.
