  1. I shall refer to this as Legacy Enterprise System (LES). This would allow any character in a legacy to request work or command the crew from any other character in the same legacy. So if a player was on one toon, their LES would allow them to tell their other toons crew to do whatever that crew is capable of. I like doing crew skill stuff, but its a little annoying to have to log out of one toon, log in to another toon, tell that toon's crew to do whatever then log back out and in to the character i'm leveling or doing whatever with. Seems like this could be streamlined with LES. Maybe some restrictions to be placed on it, like going through the LES won't level another toons skill, but will have access to what level it is at currently. There's more to it in my mind, but this seems like enough to either spark interest or disinterest to the dev team.

    Mid Bracket PVP Fun

it doesn't seem like bolster is the main problem with the lower brackets. The main problem is how toons get stronger the higher they level. A level 51 scoundrel is stronger than a level 50 scoundrel simply cause of roll. So a 51 is much stronger than a 30. For elite players this disadvantage can be a welcomed challenge to overcome, but for most of us average players the disadvantage can take away fun. Games should be fun. A fair fight is fun. The skill difference required to offset the inherent power difference between such extreme levels isn't common. So even though bolster isn't the main problem, it could be the main solution by giving lower level players more stats or something to offset the power gained through discipline lines and ability obtainment. With this in play and finely tuned a level 10 player could give a level 59 player a fun fight considering they are of similar skill level. Nothing can offset players skill level and a highly skilled player can currently beat lower skilled players even though they are lower toon level. But when two average players go at it, toon level current determines the outcome 9 times out 10.

    Mid Bracket PVP Fun

I'm not suggesting it isn't fun, its just too predictable. I know when I look at my team and not one person is over level 50, then look at the opposing team and half are over level 55, we are most likely going to lose. When teams are more evenly matched by level, much fun ensues and games get pretty close and unpredictable. But having one team at max or near max level and the other and entry or near entry level is a predictable outcome. Although I do like seeing the rare occurrence of a mismatched game being won by the lower level team, it doesn't really offset the annoyance of the 9 times out of 10 predicted outcome. Just seems it could be made more fun with a few tweaks.

    Mid Bracket PVP Fun

Are there any plans to make mid bracket pvp more fun? As it stand now its too predictable in that the team with the most high level players usually wins. These wins if the level gaps are too extreme usually end in a complete faceroll scenerio. I suggest a system in which players are over-bolstered the lower level they are. For example a level 30 player will have higher overall stats when compared to a level 59 player. Admittedly this seems complicated to balance properly, but it doesnt really need to be done so the level 30 player can beat the 59, just to where they give them a more decent fight. This could increase the overall fun of mid bracket pvp because it would give both sides (higher level and lower level teams) more of a inherent challenge to win.
  5. if you are the target of the smasher you arent running anywhere, you're rooted from the charge. but if you are behind them then you avoid the smash meant for another unless they knock them back where the cone smash now hits you.
  6. What if they made the aoe cone like they did with sage knockback, only with shorter range? you could then move to the side and avoid easier.
  7. Smash spec is far worse than bubble stun imo. Reason being that bubble stunners although annoying, arent really rewarded for speccing bubble. The tree its in is not very good for pvp so they have to go hybrid which kinda gimps them overall. On the other hand smash speccers are rewarded for their spec in the fullest and have no real need to hybrid themselves. Plus its really the only shared tree that equally benefits both the ACs that use it. I say buff others like the guy that said autocrit single tick pulse cannon for tactics and autocrit death field with some kind of stack for sorcs. that way smashers have to look before they leap thereby complicating the very deep metagame in SWTOR pvp.

    Here's How It Works

Why are imps referred to then? Why not Pubs? One or the other is fine by me, but usually its the imp classes.

    Here's How It Works

Don't wanna argue, but have, do, will. Takes longer, but still do. Takes alot longer, but I still do it. Of course most time I get focused by the DPS and nuked, but I still take em down from time to time.

You saying carnage (mara) or combat (sent)? Same spec, different faction, different ratio. AP can take down healers, just not with 3 or 4 buttons.

    Here's How It Works

OP spec is made, whether on purpose or by accident, IDK. Majority of Imperials switch to spec and begin wrecking. Republic at first refuses to roll FOTM spec then is forced to in order to compete. OP spec is used and abused till nerf bat is swung. Why blame Imps? Look at the forums, no one ever QQs about the Pub classes, its not lolsweepmonkeys or whatever, its lolsmashmonkeys. Its always nerf Operatives. Maybe pubs complain more or suck more at this game, or maybe imps exploit OP specs to the point of making the game one dimensional. You tell me. Operatives: Mainly heals, rarely concealment, never lethality. Why, heals are the only true OP spec. Warriors: Rarely full veng, rarely full tank, rarely carnage, never annih, mainly rage. Why? You know Powertechs: Rarely AP, rarely full tank, mainly pyro. Mercs: no OP class, so you see some of all. Snipers: Same I can see rolling only OP specs in ranked, but why in non-ranked as well? Change it up, try to gimp yourself see if you can win, go a whole game without stunning. Challenge yourself. If you PVP as much as I do, playing the OP class is always fun, but why limit yourself? Laugh at full resolve before every death. This game has so many problems in it, why make it worse? Pyros, hybrid sorcs, conceal ops, tracer mercs, you saturated the market so bad that you got nerfed. Some multiply times. Done, Stay OP

Arsenal is way too boring, I've played gunnery commando and stopped from shear boredom. I didnt engage Jedi, he engaged me. Used dart, he broke it. i used knockback, he charged, slowed, boom dead. Thanks for the tips though. Jedi knights are hard counters to any merc, not just pyro. Pyro is beast mode when playing with a decent team. I know its team based, but 1v1s happen quite often. I dont like 1v1s but sometimes they are unavoidable.
  13. I stuck one out today, got 11 medals, lost the match and got 42 comms and 257 creds. I'm soooo glad I didn't quit.

What I said applies even to players running naked. Talents/abilities make the real difference.

I hear people say "a lvl 10 can beat a lvl 49" in a warzone. Sure thats possible, but so many things have to go right for the lvl 10. Like 1) lvl 49 has to be way below average player. 2) lvl 10 has to be above average player 3) lvl 49 has to make alot of mistakes 4) lvl 10 has to play flawless 5) lvl 49 can't crit once 6) lvl 10 has to crit most attacks. i know this is suppose to be a team game, but 1v1s happen quite often. I just recently got nuked by a lvl 47 Jedi Guardian 1v1 on my lvl 26 pyro merc. I'm talking about an absolute nuke, finished me with a 4300 crit sweep. The lvl difference here made a huge difference, he obviously had focus spec full cause the top talent slowed me to a crawl. The class imbalance is a seperate issue. Like the total lack of kiting. I mean I was trying everything to get away from him so I could have a chance, but to no avail. I died. I really had no time to do anything as I was immobilized, then pushed to the ground then slowed then immoblilized then critted. I mean with all everything off cooldown the imbalance is so insane its laughable. This post is pointless.
