  1. Pretty sure that dialogue is only given if you're playing as a Chiss. There's a lot of extra little dialogue lines for Chiss Agents on Hoth that you won't see otherwise.
  2. I'm seeing this as well. My Sorc only has HK and Treek, and none of the originals (or the new companions).
  3. I mean, most rotations have less than 10 damage abilities anyways, just look up your rotation, and if you aren't doing Operations, just cut out anything that doesn't do damage.
  4. Unpopular opinion: I liked Ashara's Romance. Playing as a LS Sorc, It was really interesting to watch her react to you doing the complete opposite of what she expected you to do. The talk of reforming the Empire from the inside was an interesting idea, because that's pretty much what the LS Sorc does anyways, just with en emphasis on not being dumb, as opposed to Ashara's light side attitudes. Kayilo is gross, and I kill her every chance I get. Lana is fun opposite a Jedi, and Theron is fun when you're also an agent. Koth was meh. The rest relationships are by far the temporary ones. Ava Jaxo, Darth Lachris, and if you pick the right options, Hunter, all have fantastic buildups to the relationship. Hunter in particular is good, if you play along. It's the most unorthodox relationship in the game, and the ending is tragically beautiful if you play your cards right.
  5. The key difference is that, while the Empire may have slaves, conform to the whims of the Sith, and are super racist, they don't try and hide any of it. They're very transparent about how they want citizens to behave, and the actual Imperial Government is pretty decent to the citizens. Most of the NPCs will comment on how the Sith are pretty annoying when they interfere, but it's heavily implied that the non-Sith running the Empire are decent, if not nice, to the population (Major Bessiker and Talos Drellik come to mind here). The Jedi, on the other hand, proclaim that they're the good guys, representing freedom and democracy, yet getting anything done requires either months/years of negotiation (if you want to do things by the book), Ignore the Senate entirely (In the case of the Military), or resort to conspiring with gangs/underworlders (If you're a civilian). For a good example, the first Senator you meet turns out to be corrupt, and only because she can't do anything through proper channels. While she is trying to do the right thing, the fact that she has to break the law to do it means there's a fundamental issue with the Republic. To me, while the Empire certainly can't be called the good guys, operate on a much better governmental system compared to the Republic. If the Sith didn't try and kill each other so often, then they would have crushed the Republic long ago.
  6. They shouldn't bring it back, just cause you missed it. That's the whole point of limited time offers. But pls the achievement 0 points.
  7. Therapy Probe was the first regen item I ever got, so I have a soft spot for it (and it's hilarious during raids). I also love the handstand, it's great when you wanna hide in PvP!
  8. Well, seeing as there hasn't been an up to date list in at least 6 months, I figured I'd put an updated list. Returned in Fallen Empire/Eternal Throne Returned in Alliance Alert *Can be killed off/turned away Warrior *Quinn *Vette Pierce *Broonmark Jasea (Dark Side returning soon) Inquisitor Andronikos Ashara Talos *Xalek Khem Val Agent *Kaliyo *SCORPIO (You lose her by the end of Eternal Throne) Temple *Lokin Vector Bounty Hunter Gault *Torian Mako Blizz *Skadge Knight T7-01 *Rusk Kira Doc Scourge Consular Qyzen Felix Tharan Nadia Zenith Trooper *Jorgan Elara Yuun M4-1X Tanno Vik (Seen in Fallen Empire, but not recruitable.) Smuggler Corso Risha Guss Akaavi Bowdaar So far we still don't have Jasea Khem/Zash Scourge Doc Kira Tharan Zenith (Don't get your hopes up) Nadia Tanno P.S. When will my consular get the love he deserves?
  9. If, by chance, we happened to complete the barcrawl, will the achievement be reset once he's removed?
  10. Well, currently logging into my 20 something toons. So far, it looks like any toon in a guild that won conquest is getting the rewards, regardless of how many points each toon had.
  11. yo for real, at least make it not count for achievement points. How else am I supposed to get 100%
  12. But my mom said I'm great!
  13. IIRC only the Sith Warrior will get any special dialogue, as that was originally the only class that was able to be a Pureblood. Most classes don't get any specific dialogue that I've seen. I know some of the races do for certain sides (Like Chiss for Empire, and Togruta for Republic), and then most have a human/nonhuman difference, but that's all I've been able to find.
  14. So the Consular story is what, a dream? While Jedi don't actually hold any seats in the Senate, they are a large part of the political machine that is the Republic. Both Jedi classes have at least 3 or 4 quests from Senators, Governors, and other officials on each planet, and that's excluding the entire second chapter for the Consular. You're asked by enough people to assume it's not just because you're a PC, it's because people see it as your job (which it kinda is). As for the comment about politicians being worse than Sith, please actually play any Imperial storyline. While it's true that the Republic is covertly corrupt, they aren't always doing it for the wrong reasons (See Senator Kayl). The Sith are openly corrupt, have no form of representation from their planets, and blatantly murder people that disagree with them, and often purely for entertainment. Marr and Lana are some of the most level-headed Sith in any story, and they still kill mercilessly for the smallest of issues (Marr threatens his troops with death for speaking out of turn, even when they're right).
  15. You put too much stock in Tyth. Why is anything he says considered valid at all? He's trying to rile you so you'd make a better sacrifice. His whole thing is Rage, and the angrier the sacrifice, the better it is for him. He'd say anything to break your resolve, to piss you off, to doubt your alliance. If your PC thinks it's someone high up in the ranks, it becomes harder to trust them, and that's the first step in breaking the Alliance. The only reason anyone is thinking it's a major character that feel betrayed is because Tyth says so. No one else even gives the appearance of losing hope, especially seeing as you just beat the god that is Valkorian. Anyone in the Alliance is at the top of the top, and the Republic and Empire are both free from the Eternal Empire in years, allowing them to finally have the freedom to rebuild themselves to what they were. There's not much of a reason for anyone to lose hope at this point in the story. And FYI, Scourge is not a Knight exclusive character. He's mentioned indirectly by Revan in the Malestrom Prison flashpoint, and he's referenced by the Emperor's Hand in the Warrior storyline. Even ignoring those, the Knight wouldn't feel betrayed either. Scrouge doesn't like Jedi, he's only helping you because he saw you in a vision. Now that Valk is dead, he has no reason to help you anymore.
  16. Wow, this thread blew up. Seeing as I didn't really contribute, guess I will now. Spoilers ahead, read at your own risk. It's not Lana or Theron. Within the KotFE and KotET storylines (and even as far back as SoR),they've been your moral compass, giving realistic reasoning for the choices you have to make. Like the devil and angel on your shoulders. Even putting that fact aside, they have no actual reason for betraying you, and those two are probably the least likely to betray you. They're the ones who started you on this journey over 5 IG years ago. If they had ANY doubt in their minds, they would have said something, or at least not followed you 100%. The ONLY way I can see it being one of them is if you consistently went against their morals, but even then, if Bioware is sticking to the "1 story for everyone", then that can't be counted. My Light V Sorc couldn't piss off Theron enough to betray, but my Dark V Agent would. Moving on from them, we can immediately ignore every Alliance Alert companion. They are optional, so wouldn't make sense to include in the story. Going strictly by the Main Characters, Every MC aside from Gault and T7 can be either killed, banished, or leaves the Alliance, so they wouldn't have the information about Iokath. T7 is a droid, and doesn't count, and Gault has mainly been interested in the money, and seeing as you're giving him cover to break the law, there's no reason for him to turn on you. It's possible for it to be Acina/Malcolm, but that seems a little too straightforward. It'd be easy for the writers to keep them interchangeable for plot convenience, but it seems too on the nose. Same argument goes for the Alliance Specialists. The last person who's connected to the Alliance is Shae Vizla, and it'd be an interesting concept for a Mando return, but I can't see how she'd be able to get the intel needed to get all 3 sides to Iokath. Shroud of Memory writes off the Shroud (Unfortunately ), which means the only person left who was mentioned by name is Jadus. Depending on player choices during the Agent storyline, he's either in custody, which he could escape from (During the Korriban Incursion, the attack of DK by Zakuul, etc), on the run, or not in the known galaxy with a hidden army. He's one of the few Darths to not have the option of being killed, and he would have the pragmatism and resources to pull this sort of thing off. Solid choice in my books. I know Satele's been mentioned before, but she's a non-option, especially if playing as a Consular, since you've worked with her from the beginning. The only remaining companions not yet in the story or as an Alliance Alert are Ensign Temple (Just an imperial lackey) Mako (Just a random BH who quits being a BH) Iresso (Republic Lackey) Nadia (Could be, but unlikely due to character personality) Tharan Cedrax (Inventor) Zenith (Revolutionary, has some potential) Doc (Playboy doctor) Kira (Sassy Jedi) Scourge Khem (Literally only in the inquis storyline, still not sure how he'd even be alive without the inquis) Ashara (MIA, not one for mass genocide of the entire planet) Andronikos (Just a pirate) Jaesa (Either Crazy evil, Goody two shoes, or if you aren't a warrior, still a jedi) Corso (Just a smuggler) Akaavi (Just a BH) Risha (Smuggler, has lots of underworld connections, but no motive) Tanno Vik (VA died, so only trooper can get him from the Odessan terminal. Of those options, my money's on Scourge. He's the only companion to be referenced explicitly in multiple storylines (as well as hinted upon in at least one flashpoint), has no actual allegiance to the PC, and has the biggest question of allegiance of any character in the game. He's Immortal, objectively evil, and has no allegiance to anyone (he makes it clear to the knight that he is only helping because the knight is the enemy of Scourge's enemy). Zenith, Jaesa and Risha have potential, but I don't think any of them have a strong motive. Anyways, that's my super in depth analysis. I know I missed a few people, like the Hutts or that weird SIS agent they mentioned, but I don't know enough about them to make an accurate assessment of them. Hope this gives people some ideas!
  17. I always assumed that Pyron served under Thanaton. Can't complain to your boss's boss if he doesn't have one. The Silencer was a pet project of Thanaton, so it makes sense that he'd be the one who could can it if he wanted to. Besides, even if another Councilor could overrule Thanaton, Pyron wouldn't be the one to tell. His whole character is a loyal officer who doesn't engage in Sith politics. Also, don't forget that each Councilor had a powerbase of their own, including troops, armadas, scientists, etc. It makes perfect sense for Thanaton to be able to create and cancel projects like this, seeing as non Councilors like Malgus, Kilran, Rakton, and Regus all had a diverse powerbase to work with.
  18. The Scions are supposed to help you. How is Besides, Heskal only said they'd help overthrow Arcann and Vaylin, which you did without their help.
  19. LS Inquisitor seems more realistic IMO. It doesn't make sense that any of your comps would stay (barring Khem and Xalek), and based on your backstory as a slave, it's more likely you'd be a little more introverted, and less hostile in general. Not sure if 100% LS is good, because sometimes LS means a lot of extra work, but generally LS works better. I tend to equate the canon inquis to act a lot like Lana. Calm, smart, but willing to kill a few people if they get in his way.

My main is Madness, and I always enjoy that. Right now, I'm rockin it with a Bodyguard Merc.
  21. Forgot to turn on Tramua Regulators after running an Ops. Not a fun time.
  22. For the Sorc, you gotta remember you just got to the position you're in, while everyone else you deal with has been there for a long time. Regus is a Grand Moff, the highest position a non-force user can attain, so it stands to reason he treats you as an equal. This is his operation, he's had the potion longer than you, and you're about 40 years his younger. Technically you outrank him, but you can't really discipline him, because he reports to a different sphere than yours. Same can be said for Malgus. It's clear that he doesn't respect the Council or it's infighting and prejudice, so he's going to act superior at first because he kind of is. If you agree with him throughout the quest, he'll start to respect you more, even up to the False Emperor flashpoint. As for the Warrior, how people treat you largely depends on how much they respect or fear the Emperor. It's clear Malgus holds no regard one way or the other, but he knows the Emperor has been silent. I don't remember Regus indicating whether his allegiance was to the EMperor, or to the Council, so I can't really comment on that point. The big thing you're missing is how much power these men have. While you officially outrank them, in both cases, your true power is only known to the Council, as both classes overthrow their master in the Council chambers. As a Sorc, you have a considerable power base, but it's nothing compared to these two, who have spent decades building theirs. As a Warrior you have even less of a power base, only having the backing of an Emperor that people are following less and less. Both Regus and Malgus have a perceived power that vastly outshines yours. It's only by witnessing your actions that they come to truly respect you (with Regus) and see you as a thread (with Malgus).
  23. Just sayin, but maybe you should take half a second to look at the person whose marked, possibly watching for a single castable move. It takes less than 4 seconds to see if someone is actually a healer or not, and no one's gonna let you tell them who they should be marking or not.
  24. Yes, please let the people who nolife this game curb stomp casuals because they have better gear. Thats seems more fair than giving everyone a base stat, no matter their gear, so gear doesn't matter.
