  1. The common person wouldn't know very much at all. With all the wars most people seemed to know the empire was oppressive, republic was at least fair and freedom minded.
  2. Patients. Remember EA has this game on a very short leash.

  4. Yep, less and less like "Star Wars" all the time. I do like the "Ability to Choose" as always but the Canon effect should atleast be included.
  5. I like my Gunslinger better. Maybe because it was the 1st. For awhile I liked the Inquisitor but it coulda been the guild also was better. Both stories I thought were good. The Gunslinger is a more comfortable character to me the S.I. is more like a Duty. The laid back persona's of that character and his Companions is very refreshing also. Plus my Gunslinger has literally walked through events the S.I. had trouble with. Gunslinger is the Role for me.
  6. That is the way it's supposed to be. I think the story has been chopped and some parts left out due to *bugs. This was held back a week for a week as they said due to programming bugs. That can explain why it seems incomplete and not at all like any of the others. I believe the Elara/Malavie scene was removed for this very same reason.
  7. Blizz is always fun to have around. Plus Blizz and Hylo are the only ones that can actually Find my people (Smuggler). Blizz is one of my Favorites.
  8. Hmm. I always liked Hylo, she's not a replacement for Risha of course but still interesting. I hope in the *Disbanding of the Alliance later on this doesn't complicate things too much. As for the Skytroopers its a shocker for sure but they are mechanics, tools, they'll serve whoever they're programmed to (Just tools). As for the Knights, theyre like a Police force right? They'll serve 1 whoever they believe is right and 2 whoever is in power (moreso 1 I'd believe). I always thought Senya would try to bring them over I just wish that would have happened earlier; woulda made a better story.
  9. I'm all for this idea. I can think of many many more events both the smuggler and S.I. can do. Getting the Smuggler and Bounty Hunter out more in a neutralish direction would be "Spot on" to what both were originally intended in "The Big G's " canon anyway. Who came up with the idea of the smuggler Not having any reason to go to Hutta in the first place I think was very wrong. There are a never ending amount of events, missions or errands everybody can do their class name Implies but never happens.
  10. I just made sure I had my back against the stone to the side of the stairs; it was almost as if she came to me, face to face also. I did beat her with my Main (Gunslinger) but it was a Lonngg fight. An endurance thing like others.
  11. Its a shame how they've handled our Companions. The one thing that sat this game apart from all others and they've not only removed them but keep back stepping on what they've said about returning them...Brilliant (Sarcasm). Even Gus had his own quest/story on returning and now with high popularity companions having only a short flash then gone is really bad. I actually stopped using Lana and Theron long ago and now run with one of my *Original comps, same result. This issue with newly returning L.I.'s and the still ineffectiveness of the romance gifts that started when we were *All supposed to forget about them and all *Swoon over Lana/Theron shows their still lack of concern is still around. I haven't seen anything yet that *Shows the comps will again be of any importance to the admin/devs.
  12. This game doesn't feel like "Star Wars" to me at all anymore. Since the "Zakuul" thing started this game has been going out into left field away from what everybody associates with the genre. The shoehorning everybody into one story that very few fit and was rarely accepted or wanted. I have wondered if the ones making these choices on direction and content have even *Watched a "Star Wars" movie or care anything about the theme or SWTORs players and what they expect from a *Star Wars" product.
  13. Ya that's what I was thinking. So much of the game relies on the ships infact all of the Companions story bits do unless I've forgotten something. My guess is its the story players will continue to use the ships for their story and resuming companions (??), and the more action oriented players will "Insta" arrive at the different areas.
  14. I went Republic. I would've preferred to have stayed Neutral (Smuggler) but that option was not available (grr). My decision was immediate for a number of reasons. Yes Acina was very nice and rational before and you had a number of items she wanted. You were both trying to get out of the jungle (Your helping her). The Imperial fleet *Did come to help and if your somehow killed in the battle this makes it very convenient for the Empire to take over. This is Bioware so we know what to expect for their typical Imperials and especially Sith figures as Minister whats his name proved earlier. Acina was definitely not the normal for Bioware (atleast not until the end,same as all the rest). Minus Saresh The republic has always been fairly reasonable although I never planned to let them have the weapon either. And now after all that's happened and we've been watching Jace act like such a warmonger I wouldn't be surprised if he tries something very similar.
  15. Similar for my main. I did the story and ran around there for a few days however I don't think Iokath is for me. Maybe pick the main storyline up again later after all this has past. So I'll make a new character and hang around the Original SWTOR areas; Guaranteed to be good.
  16. Unfortunately I do like the Overall majority of the robes and other sets but I typically rule out anything with a hood immediately just because of the hood. This has been an issue for a long time. There should be a way to Hide, Replace or Switch up or down for the hoods.
  17. Yes I wish they would allow the ability to turn those off. Every time it comes up I have to stop what I'm doing to turn that off and be able to actually see what I'm doing. Another reason is not everybody cares about that but they have to stop for a moment to close that window as well. Really frustrating.
  18. I kinda found it uncomfortable really. it was good to see the Imp vs Rep start again so that's getting back on track. I actually did try to do the Op. which is very rare for me but we ended up with members joining but couldn't all group up for different reasons myself included (map, Instance reasons). I really thought I would get a chance to meet Elara and *Assumed Aric would like that but I don't remember really even a single word so all the big "get together" B.W. said was starting turned out to be just a flash and disappear. All the earlier returning comps got atleast a little time. (isn't Elara a L.I. for some?) When I *Think it ended was what seemed to be right in the middle with none of SWTORs typical closing scenes. My Companion keeps getting Dismissed for whatever bug that was or maybe its because I don't run with a Comp. they want me to (Got tired of Lana and Theron all the time). It really seems all this was thrown together at the last minute as a number of the events, map issues, dialogue choices/limits don't seem to work very well. When I was running across the map doing my story I had other people running around doing their stuff, that gave me the impression of trying to play through a game of golf at the same time and place as 4 baseball games ( I don't play Golf). So this is what SWTOR is reduced to everybody doing everything all in one spot? Keith I hope you can fix this.
  19. Wow is it really that steep? I don't play all the time so I wonder if this means it could be months before I'm able to actually finish this. I was all revved up to finally move *Past the Knights story but now. I actually *Did play all day and if the amount of Shards I gathered todays all day is indicative of how many I could get in one entire day, wow. This is kinda even more uncomfortable then the beginning of Fallen when we realize were stuck in a story we don't like and no way out.
  20. It also seems I cant do the dailies until I do that operation (none of the Trams open).
  21. I had the impression this chapter finishes with that Op. I've tried the highlighted tram but I guess that's only for the Operation groups I couldn't get it to open. This is a really uncomfortable way to end a chapter. very much Not like SWTOR.
  22. Yes it seems these dailies cost more to do then I'd make so doing these leads to having *Less money not more.
  23. Well I did like the Original SWTOR better. Sometimes I do think the game/company is/has changed into something I nolonger like.

I think they haven't returned yet because the ones not back yet would require the largest bits of programming and time but then B.W. just wanted to get past the Knights story and move on to something the players would like. These Comps that haven't returned were set to come back at a point in the story after that decision was made. Now B.W. has to rewrite them into the story in a suitable place and time for the Iokath story.
