  1. That thing was annoying as hell and I'm more than glad that it's gone.
  2. You CAN size every element separately as well as all togather and you CAN move around the chat box. You could do that since launch. Example.
  3. This person is in the posession of "common sense" - the rarest natural element on the internet - GET HIM!!!
  4. I don't like Knight PvE and Consular PvP. The rest look really good.
  5. You apparently are not aware that a legacy is limited on one server. You can start a different legacy on a different server and have to earn the unlocks separately.
  6. Not receiving a reward is not a punishment. Bioware still provides you with a great game to play and you shouldn't expect anything more. Still, I wish the reward had applied to all people who have subscribed since the beginning. I'm sure BW will make a statement regarding this quite soon.
  7. I got the reward and I still do agree with this statement. I do not, however, agree to how the OP is putting it. This is not something you quit a game about or start flaming the developer. Your point is very valid, OP and I support it. Don't invalidate it by overreacting.
  8. A lot of things change during testing - it's not lieing. There are only two options - either developers say nothing until the feature is 100% ready, meaning on the live servers, or they announce planned features and correct the announcments after they see how the feature performs in testing. People on game forums are always in uproar about both approaches. Luckely, most developes are intelligent enough not to give a damn.
  9. Neither have I, but some of the issues (the sound non-overlappig especially) are indeed annoying. The jet engine sound comes from speeders, I assume, but it's probably not coming from the right location, i.e. - the speeders themselves. It seems to be omnipresent. I wouldn't say this is too much of a problem, though.
  10. Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for reporting your case of butthurt. The Internet takes such complaints very seriously and we would like you to fill out this form so you can be assisted further. Have a nice day!
  11. The sound(filter?) makes it feel bigger, more like a large, enclosed space. I wouldn't say I like the sound itself, but it improves the ambiant feeling. It's not a sound studio, but indeed a large hangar, after all.
  12. Might have something to do with it being a hangar. Not sure though.
  13. In case you have a slow connection and it's not done yet - close and reopen the launcher. I logged in just fine.
  14. Are you also trying to jump infront of other people's cars hoping they run you over and you can maybe get compensated for that?
  15. I actually prefer F2P MMOs. I have the feeling that I get more out of my money if I pay only for things I need. In SWTOR, I might pay 15€ a month and actually spend only two hours in game, which makes me feel I wasted the money. And I infact did. With F2P, I can log in and play anytime without any investment and spend something if I feel dedicated enough. SWTOR is the only subrcription MMO I play, and only because I really like the game. I'd much rather prefer it being a free-to-play microtransaction based game with a shop for convenience and cosmetic things and an optional subscription.
  16. A nice touch I hadn't noticed. Thank you for pointing it out!
  17. There's a LFG tool since launch. Do you mean crosss-server LFG? Bioware have repeatedly stated that they will not implement such a thing.
  18. Having played all major MMOs, I can conclude that yes, an MMO does indeed need a story. And it needs to present it in a graspable way. WoW has loads of story, well written and interesting, as does SWTOR. The difference is that SWTOR presents the story like potato chips - well fried and in small bitable chunks (dialogue lines), whereas WoW shoves the whole potato in your mouth and tries to slam it down your throat with a broomstick.
  19. EA is a public company, they are indeed obliged to report their numbers in detail to stock holders. Probably not subscriber numbers specifically, but financial numbers. However, if they do report subscriber numbers at an investors call (as they did a few months back), they have to be (and are) correct. If you lie to your inverstors, you go to jail.
  20. Why don't you stop drinking acid every moring? Might make you a more cheerful person.
