  1. The release cadence for ops isn't that bad of a deal if they can keep that up - as in, after ops boss #5 (the last one), we can expect the first boss of the next op within a similar amount of time as the bosses have been released. And then ad infinitum. ~ Eudoxia
  2. Hey Eric, I just want to say, good job on fixing the issues with the double class stance. Most of us were worried that sweeping nerfs would be doled out instead of a proper fix. Props to the devs on that. ~ Eudoxia
  3. I gotta agree with this. It seems more likely Sabine was just on an assembly line putting things together, and that the way its worded and the emotion expressed in it make it seem she was more involved than what she was actually doing. I guess it's possible. Yeah, although he's not the first like people are saying. There were the Mandalorian Knights in KOTOR. ~ Eudoxia
  4. It was established that the Mandalorians fought the Jedi in the Clone Wars. And it's possible they're referring to the Mandalorian Excision, not the actual Mandalorian Wars. ~ Eudoxia
  5. It's usually pretty cheap on JC, only in the million range, although it's climbed back up. But yeah, I agree with the OP. There are a handful of sets I only need one piece to complete. E.g. Sensuous Dress Top, Jarael's Tunic, Ajunta Pall's Tunic, Dathomir Shaman's Upper Robes, one of the pieces of Mandalorian Hunter's, some others. However, they're usually out of my price range if they're on the GTN (like Jarael's, which on the rare occasion it pops up is 30 mil). At one time I could afford that, because I know how to merch the GTN, but past 2 months have absolutely been crap for JC's GTN economy and nothing of mine has been selling, and the stuff I put up gets undercut by morons by a ridiculous margin, sometimes below what I can afford to compete with cause of what I paid for the cost of the item. ~ Eudoxia
  6. Thank you for listening to our plea for starfighter to also grant additional CXP rewards along with the rest of the game's content. ~ Eudoxia
  7. Because it's a stat called evasion and if you use DF and RI you can be virtually impossible to hit. You're probably talking about Nyaah, who's a really good GSF'er and PvE'er. It's called strafing. I do this in my clarion jousts now and it screws with aforementioned BLC scouts. They're moving in and out of cover with shift+WASD. Cluster missiles, or convenient lag. Really good crit and shield bypass, or damage overcharge. Tier (4 I think?) Perk for Ion Railgun *Points to self* Earthlink internet. No such thing. I can regenerate my shields really fast on my Clarion by swapping them. As for hull health, that's 99% Damage reduction which is available on some ships (and others can get close). That's mitigated by weapons with armor piercing, like slug railgun, rocket pods, and burst laser/heavy laser cannons. Not all weapons are optimized for close range. Most of the lasers work best at medium range (4000-6000m). Only BLC works that close, and even then evasion will negate your accuracy. Also, there are weird things with the hitboxes sometimes, IIRC. Just because it's maxxed doesn't mean you built it right and have the right crew. I'm on all the time. You see me playing with Traesha, and you see Zuck too. Come talk to us, we're helpful. ~ Eudoxia
  8. Only way to tell whether you're bugged or not is with Parsely. If you know your numbers on a fight then you can usually guess it, but you can always check the logs to tell for sure. ~ Eudoxia
  9. I've seen him around, I think. Yep, welcome to JC, and don't take him lightly. ~ Eudoxia
  10. They've already stated that they won't be doing Dark Side force ghosts several time because that was part of Lucas' original vision. ~ Eudoxia
  11. I've built two stacks on clairvoyant strike a several times, so it's not just ball lightning. I can usually tell whether or not I'm bugged by how quickly I'm proccing Force breach, more simply. If it's every like 4.5 seconds it's a bug, if it's fairly higher than that, I'm not bugged. And even if it isn't class stances being bugged, there is something royally screwing with Shadow Parses. Because I can do the same rotation and get 8K or 10K. ~ Eudoxia
  12. That doesn't make sense, because the min/max stats for several classes are over 1630. I heard it was over 1800 but want confirmation. ~ Eudoxia
  13. At what point does crit become statistically inferior to mastery and power? I know it was 1537 in 4.X. ~ Eudoxia
  14. It's not overperforming on its own. When Bioware switched the stances from actives to passives, they screwed up so somehow an extra active stance can randomly trigger on and off. It can happen when you enter/exit ops/pvp instances, login or log out, etc. It's extra effective for infiltration shadow because the class stance is how we build stacks of breaching shadow to get a highlighted force breach (our main attack), so if we have two class stances our abilities generate those stacks twice as fast. As for Cloak of Resilience, I only use that in PvE since it's useful for random damage mitigation, stealthing out to rez someone who stood in stupid, or just an additional way of clearing DoTs in HM/NiM since it sometimes conveniently coincides with the rotation. In PvP I don't take it, unless I forget to switch from PvE to PvP utilities. ~ Eudoxia
  15. As far as I am aware, the Bane Trilogy does not conflict with the New Canon. Ruusan, Rakata Prime, etc are all Canon, and there are no Dark Side Force Ghosts (only Holocrons). The only thing I can think of that might be a problem are Orbalisks, and maybe some Sith Alchemy. I don't remember the whole trilogy. Bane was created by Lucas. Lucas outlined the character for Karpyshyn, who wrote the books. Honestly, I think those books need to be made canon. ~ Eudoxia
  16. 100% this. Yeah occasionally some classes end up broken, but a good team has always been what determines whether or not I kick butt or am trying not to be farmed like the rest of the pub-side noobs. ~ Eudoxia
  17. Lol at least nobody's complaining about shadows doing an extra 2K DPS because they randomly can have two class stances as a result of a bug Bioware let go to live with 5.0. Mercs are pretty hard to kill, but not impossible. It's when you have 4 of them in an arena that it's a problem. ~ Eudoxia
  18. You do realize... this is exactly what the best Minecraft Servers have been. I played as "Sun_Tzomas" (in case anyone knows me) on MinecraftCenter for years, and basically the reason why that community and population declined was because they couldn't figure out a way to hold their veterans and continue to bring in new players for long-term. It had factions to protect the cities, player-built cities, etc. We'll always remember the great dwarven cities under their hand-built mountains, or heck even North Korea's Battlemoat. But ultimately it failed to meet the same challenge every MMO has to meet (mind you it technically wasn't an MMO): holding veterans while attracting new players, which is done through changes to the way the game is played and adding features. ~ Eudoxia
  19. The new system to "Improve" Galactic Command is even more complex than the old system you intended to replace for its complexity. The entire ordeal can be solved by simply making ops guarentee unassembled token drops from each boss like it has been since the game launched, and simply having galactic command an available way to acquire gear for those who don't enjoy doing operations. Coupled with buffs to GCXP payouts from PvP and GSF, as well as solo content, this would be the ideal solution. ~ Eudoxia
  20. He does have a point about tuning it for playtime. Operations being the obvious example. Ops are supposed to reward the most CXP, but in the time invested in a Story Mode Op I can get more CXP out of 4 GSF matches. Furthermore, I can play GSF all week. Same for PvP (Regs/Ranked). If they're going to keep this system, they need to do something about the fact Ops have a weekly lockout. Running an op should reward way more CXP than it currently does if they keep the lockout (which, to be frank, they have to for the sake of progression raiding). ~ Eudoxia
  21. Tait wanted 2016 to die a little bit slower. ~ Eudoxia
  22. On the note of the PTS, I want to point out that I know quite a few players who were part of the 5.0 Beta, and when we started discussing the INNUMERABLE amount of bugs with 5.0, especially some game breaking ones (like class stance doubling, etc), they mentioned that ALL OF THEM WERE KNOWN ABOUT ON THE PTS. Every single one, and they let them go to live. That says something there. ~ Eudoxia
  23. Also on Jedi Covenant, which from experience used to be the most active raiding server on the East Coast. It may still be, considering most people have been moving to Harbinger from all the servers. However, unlike most people here, I came for the story and stayed for Galactic Starfighter, although I'm a HM/NiM raidier. THANK YOU! I have been saying this since BEFORE Galactic Command went live. I came to that conclusion when I first saw what the ending of the story was for this expansion. Agreed. I don't either. Although as soon as my friends unsub, I'm going to be gone too, since I'll have no reason left to play. ~ Eudoxia
