  1. DoT's traditionally are supposed to do more than Burst. But yeah Hatred is up to... mediocre at best.
  2. Dude... no it's not. First of all Tython is still canon, second of all Jedha is in the unknown regions near Jakku and Rakata Prime. Jedha is not stated to be the original home of the Jedi, simply one home of many. Ahch-To, Tython, and Jedha are all speculated to be the origin points of the Jedi in the new canon, but it's not stated which is for sure. http://www.swgalaxymap.com/
  3. Hmm... fair enough. I was just concerned about Deception's lack of Phantom Stride (for an extra Discharge every 20s) having an effect on its DPS in the Pylons phase. Hence why I asked for the input of someone who knew better.
  4. Hatred I think is better for Underlurker or any AOE fight. I'd say Deception definitely still has an advantage due to its better defensives. I think Hatred might be better on this fight. I mean it's not a hard enough DPS check really to not use Deception, but you can't use Phantom Stride during the Pylons which is a DPS nerf for Deception, and the DoT's will keep ticking during the tentacle slam which is additional uptime for Hatred. Deception's burst is more useful on irregularities/anomalies though. Just my two cents, someone with more experience might be able to say more. I wonder if Hatred is still a better choice on Brontes though (even with front-side maul), since you could theoretically spread DoT's to all the fingers in the 6-finger phase? I don't know, to be honest, thoughts on that?
  5. I'm gonna be honest this is what needed to happen with this stronghold because it's clear a lot was missed: 1. Announce that Manaan would be delayed to 5.4 because it would not meet player expectations and you wanted to do a better job. 2. With 5.3, announce Manaan was being opened in the closed playtest to check for bugs and for feedback. Closed playtest invites would be sent to "expert decorators"/people who just spend a lot of time on their strongholds and like posting about it for feedback. 3. Release the stronghold with a better hook layout and far fewer bugs. Announce at least the possibility of expanding it in the future, even if it never gets implemented it at least remains open as a suggestion and an option, which may mitigate negative feedback on its small size. The better hook layout would probably eliminate a lot of that feedback too. That's just my two cents. But they seriously need to fix the hooks that are misaligned, replace the centerpiece hooks in the underwater rooms, and add at least one starship hook underwater outside so I can put a crashed fighter or something.
  6. The elevator sends you to the rooftop if you select the entrance level. Several hooks are misaligned - off center, or slight height differences namely. E.g. the two small ones in front of the elevator, where the one on the right is slightly higher so anything you place on it will float.
  7. Yeah I would like to know that too. It's got quite a few bugs (Wall hooks on the ceilings, hooks that are off-center or uneven e.g. one is placed higher than the other so the deco is floating). I also feel like it's too small and that they indeed may actually expand it, and I wouldn't mind if they did.
  8. Let me be clear, I haven't done it in HM (nor did I claim I had), but I have been talking to people who have, and I misunderstood what they said about the mechanics. I talked to someone else and they explained it better, was wrong, my apologies. They were pissed about there being no NiM and weren't going to protest the devs about it so I figured I'd just start a thread is all.
  9. So basically, you can straight burn Esne/Aivela in HM and totally ignore the mechanics. That's ridiculous. The mechanics on this fight badly need to be buffed so you actually have to pay attention to them, and it makes the fight meaningful. Esne/Aivela is supposed to be the Sword Squadron of VotMG, not the Jarg and Sorno. Yes, I know people will cry about it being too hard, that's what story mode is for. The point of Hard mode (it's clear they're not going to make a NiM mode, which is very disappointing) is to learn to play, learn to play it right, and be rewarded for it.
  10. Hey Eric, Keith, et. al. It would appear that Shadow Strike/Maul, which you have removed the position requirement from, is bugged with its DPS output. It says the lower DPS is only supposed to occur in front of the boss, but it appears that this lower output is also occurring behind the boss alongside the higher output, as if the game can't distinguish between the two output ranges and gives one range from lowest possible to highest possible. I honestly would strongly recommend you double-check this and make sure it's working correctly. Honestly I would just have Maul do the same damage at behind the boss as it does in front of the boss, but at the very least make sure your intended changes are working correctly.
  11. I only saw one. But I've seen like a dozen Shae Viszlas... I mean... she's like 60...
  12. Yep still happening on JC. This is an instance related issue, I believe. It happened back when Strongholds were first released.
  13. Here is a list of Bugs I have noticed with the Manaan Stronghold: 1. The light fixture hooks on the entrance superstructure are wall hooks, despite them being upside-down for hanging items. 2. The Intro plays every time. I consider this a feature, but I think it is a bug. 3. Strongholds are having instance problems and Manaan is especially bad. Other players' naked companions keep showing up, as well as special effects, etc. crossing instances.
  14. Toon: Eudoxya Server: Jedi Covenant Faction: Imperial Planet: Yavin Guild: <The Courageous>
  15. Yeah... I was disappointed too. There's not enough interior space and the two side rooms have large centerpiece hooks. I was hoping to use them for a bedroom style thing, but that's not really possible because of that. I feel like the interior should have opened to an above-water atrium (like the big room on Nar Shadda), but it's just an internal hallway to an elevator. I wouldn't honestly mind if they devoted resources to expanding this. It has a ton of potential, but it's just too small. The underwater hooks are absolutely awesome though. For now I strongly recommend they patch it with a redesign of the hooks in the underwater interior rooms. Those centerpiece hooks just kill it for me.
  16. Hey Eric, Keith, Another patch, and this is still bugged. It's been since like April of last year guys, c'mon. When is this going to be fixed?
  17. A few points: 1. The removal of the position requirement for Deception/Infiltration is great. But it would be better if you made it equal for both behind and in front of the target. Often times the game can't figure out where I'm standing relative to the boss anyways even if I am behind the boss. 2. Furthermore, Shadow Stride still needs to be fixed: there are several bosses it can't be used on including Terror, which makes it a real problem for the deception/infiltration class since we loose a lot of DPS, and also the first boss of Red Reaper flashpoint. Not to mention it can launch you into orbit sometimes on the Tanks in EC... 3. The removal of Shadow Strike from Serenity (Maul from Hatred) was completely unnecessary. It is useful at opportune moments in PvP. This is the same as removing Mind Crush from Deception/Infiltration as it was a great pre-cast for a complex opener, which increased overall DPS. Dumbing down doesn't improve a class. 4. Weapon Tunings and Color Crystals: This basically screws over legacy weapons. The entire point of legacy is for raiders to swap gear between toons to cut down on the need to grind max-tier gear for the same disciplines. This is easily solved by making the removal of color crystals/tunings from a weapon result in the destruction of the modification. 5. Also, how will this affect weapons stored in the legacy bank itself? 6. Bastila Shan's Armor is still bugged and still needs to be fixed after 15 months.
  18. Sorry I just wanted to chime in here: Yes.
  19. There is some sort of issue with it. I've been stealth rezzing for 2 years and as of the past few weeks I keep getting interrupted when it should be possible.
  20. Hey Eric, What about stealth rez, when will that be fixed? Currently it is impossible to finish a stealth rez in PvE because the rez interrupts itself. This is true for all of the stealth classes. Also, when will Bastila Shan's armor finally be fixed?
  21. I like the idea. However, instead of right clicking on a player to "add codex entry", it may simply be easier to have a searchable database of player codex entries, like stronghold listings, guild listings, and the /who command.
  22. Still not fixed, after 1 year and 2-3 months. http://i.imgur.com/nA398nW.png
  23. Well shazbot, they had originally said the Condor. The Vomit Breaker/Dustbin? No, yeah that was a bad move. T3's in general are bad.
  24. Although the Decimus/Sledgehammer sucks, the the Condor/Jurgoran (T2 Gunship) is in the meta.
