Nope, still not working I cannot download DirectX 9 files, won't let me. So nothing downloads as such cannot open, install anything as nothing to install.

My PC won't let me download as says I already have latest version, so...... Not going to remove version I have as I use it for other things and won't rick losing access to them. I know going in the not all of us would be able to continue to play this with new software. Sure a lot will get it working after some workarounds but chances are not all of us.

When I press play all that happens is the play button fades slightly. It go's back to bright by click anywhere else on launcher (however nothing if pressing the play button it'self)

I don't know how to do that with Norton security. Don't even know how to open it for that purpose. When I do open it gives me the choice of Scan, VPN, Back-up. Tells me if any device is out of date, but changing or adding to antivirus or eceptions is not an option. Not to mention how to find full net address or add full folder to Norton anti virus exception.

Also having the same issue. I have Norton antivirus on my PC. I don't know how to changed the setting on this, however others seem to say they have cheacked this with no posative resuilt. If it makes a difference, I too am using windows 10. I can confirm that DirectX 9 is installed (when I tried it say I already have the latest version) I can confirm that-- “run this program in compatibility mode” is unchecked

Ok, cannot start the launcher. So far have checked this, which is correct as mentioned below Uncheck “run this program in compatibility mode” This part of your post, the link you give does not go to a direct download but a page that just gives info on Microsoft edge which I am already using. No button to download DirectX9. While I wait for a response, I will google DirectX 9 it to see if I can get a download link form there. It is possible that the necessary DirectX 9 is not installed. Update Tried to download direct from google link. Says this is already download with lasted version so not this. Game launcher will not work. Patch has download fully, but when you click play, nothing happens. Other than the play button fades slight then go's back to how it was.

Ok, so these tokens now make a level 80 character instead of level 70-75. What about other none-subs who bought/buy these tokens and only allowed level 70-75 characters? I am sure I have brought some of cartel for my none sub accounts. are you now saying that these cannot be used on those accounts? or does it revert back to the 70-75 setting

Not sure, unless you tried it on the test server I don't know if anyone can answer that for you personally. I also think at this point until it go's live, think different players will have different experiences with it. For me, not even sure my PC will play it at all. Guess I will find out myself when it go's live. If I cannot play, then guess my time with this game is over. If it does, hopefully without any issues. However not really expecting that outcome. Anyway best of luck, hope you don't have any problems yourself with it. If it does not improve the game for you, lets hope it does not make it worse.

Ok, this is tied to legacy & in-game credits or cartel coins. Both choices are available to subs Press y --- Then on left hand side go to Other tab. It's under ship unlocks. Mine were unlocked a long time ago, so don't remember how many credits it cost but think it was 5m. You must also have required legecy level. However you can just buy with cartel coins. It is a legacy wide unlocks so only need to do on one character per server. BTW you can also unlock a mail port, GTN terminal and guild bank there, plus things like training dummy, droid repair, and item modification All items are various legacy levels and costs, all legacy wide for that server. No. you would need a different computer for each account. That is if logging in at same time for things like inviting characters to your own guild from a different account. You can however login to both accounts from one PC at different times.

Yes it fine, I have a lots of accounts. No issues at all. No issue with sending items to other accounts (except the normal, bound, or bound to legacy rules) I did this myself to begin with, then got my own guild to have a easier way of transferring stuff. As I don't sell much cartel stuff on GTN and never trade, it fits into my own play style. I sub for them all during the year(s) (don't have to) normally one account at a time and rotate them. Again this is just how I do it, no reason why you cannot have just a f2p account which is never subbed on. However subbing for the odd month or two allows you to buy most the the unlocks. Which is far better than buying them from cartel market. The unlocks you cannot buy in-game however are still substantial, such as artefact equip items, headshot option, almost all of the strongholds and doors. However a new account does have it up-sides too. Also there are 5 servers, so yes I have characters on all 5. Again this is almost the same as a new account if you are not all ready using them.

Which still did not change the structure of the game, as the paywall has been there since day one when the cartel market came into the game. Which is why you can buy strongholds with CC or in-game credits, why you can buy legacy perks, other perks with CC or in-game credits or unlock/buy/reaching set goals. Why you can buy unlocks such as inventory lines, legacy tabs, and such by buying with CC or in-game credits or some decorations by CC, in-game credits or by crafting. Nothing changed at all with GS> it just gives an option to buy with CC, it is not needed. No player has to take part or even complete GS, Going back to the actual topic at hand.. It really would be nice if any details can be given out BW. It may make a difference to to what characters I will level up before the new xpac comes out. Also any idea if the Master Datacron from cartel will have an extra level added, so 60, 70, 75? Will the equipment box also be upgraded if a new level is added. Will renown crates remain the same/similar to what they are now or go back to command crates style?

Like post two said, has been requested many times. For me if it was added to the game it really would come down to how it was implemented. If it was a Cartel Item, then how much, given the number of outfits in game, I'd be reluctant to buy them, this is just due to the shear amount any player would need. If it was dropped as loot form a FP, then sure. Still after 5 years or so that it's been requested, not expecting it to happen in any form.

No you don't. GS did not change anything. This is just a continual whine from a different thread. Which was not even factual, as GS did not change anything in the structure of this game. The structure of this game changed when cartel market first came into this came, it has not changed since then. That change was way back, It was in before I even started playing, that was 5-6 years ago. @ceryxp Yes you are right, it will just be XP until level 80. Must have been half a sleep when I made that post, lol I have been playing long enough to know better.

Well considering how old this thread is, dated all the way back to 2013, I guess this request was just passed onto the cartel team and ultimately rejected. Shame, would have been nice to of had a universal craft trainer.

Just to add to this (unless it has changed again) using the mail box to get starter mail that you get when first making a character will stop you getting the deleted character token back as well. Personally for piece of mind, do as much research on this as you can, before using Commanders Token, if you think you may delete it.

Personally I think it's still a mistake that will get old fast. However BW have said that the changes are optional, so guess for me it will have zero impact, as I will just keep my characters as they are now. First, that not going to work, anyone who was going to buy would have done so, or will do what's best for them, not you. Second. Well cannot speck for anyone else, but personally I liked this much more than DvL event of a few years back. Sure would have been better if it did not have all the bugs when it first started. Plus would have been nice if there were more options for dailies, as many were just not my thing. Overall however I give this event 8/10. DvL from a few years back 5/10. So....not really much dissent from me. As BW have already said that many things will change for season two from reading the feedback, so next time if it is also bug free (I can hope) might even get a 9/10

Yes, however if you intend to stop sub there are a few things you should know. 1. You cannot access guild bank unless you buy the guild bank unlock first 2 You cannot add or remove credits regardless of having the guild bank unlock, you can add items and remove items, just not credits. 3. you cannot open new guild tabs so buy as many as you think you will need before ending sub. 4 guild go's to f2p status so expect other restrictions as well.

I brought 4 single cartel packs today from cartel market. I bought them using two different accounts. 1 pack on the first account 3 on the other. Why did i get 5 chance cubes on the first account but only 4 chance cubes per pack on the second account? This is not acceptable!

Nope, I too have this issue with auto-target. I have tried both having the box checked and unchecked, just in-case it was my error and misunderstanding if I needed it ticked or not . Neither seem to work. I find this issue on shooter characters only. I can be standing right next to a enemy, and still target a NPC across the screen, then have to right mobs from two groups in PvE. Can only imagen how annoying this would be in PvP.

Personally I just play for around 30 mins and no more on any given day. I just don't see the need to continue to play just because I still have tokens left. 30 mins is more than enough. The only two things I would change is not to run this event at the same time as any other event, such as galactic seasons, double XP events. The second thing is make every year have different rewards, no rewards from the pervious year. Having them from the vender is fine, just not as rewards from the slot machines.

Probably will be, however until it has comes out none of us will know. I remember this same question been asked when windows 10 was pending. This game did work on it, as using that now, not sure if it worked right away as my windows 10 PC is not that old. Can BW actually test the game now before windows 11 is even out? Would they have access to try it? Personally I would just wait a few days until after it is out, someone somewhere would start posting to say if its not compatible, either here for SWTOR or on google forum gaming sites to say that there are gaming issues with windows 11.

This maybe in your cartel stash tab, nowadays very few items go straight into inventory on your character when claiming items from cartel market. If you press inventory, then down the left-hand side are a list of icons, one is open collections, one is open cartel stash amongst other thing (think there are 4 icons). This may or may not be your issue but worth tiring. If it is there it then can be opened/claimed by any character on that server. If not there, then send in a ticket to CS or hope you get a reply here.

As is the Togruga DR from republic side Taris, I sort of understand the heroic givers, as all of these quests are at any of the planetary heroic terminals. NPC's such as the Taris Dr is different case, the quest has been removed entirely.
