  1. OK. Maybe I jumped the gun a bit. I sliced on a different planet and only got 1 credit case. I should go and buy a lottery ticket. Guess it was better to be safe than sorry. Go crit!!
  2. Hmmm, I have never crit like this before. Just seems strange that right after patch I am getting double the amount of loot than yesterday... Will try a 4th time... stay tuned
  3. So I just logged in on my toon and started slicing and noticed I'm now getting 2 x credit cases every time I slice. Does this constitute as an exploit? Do I have to stop slicing until this is resolved? Edit: I just sliced three 2 x credit cases in a row, just in case I was extremely lucky with a slicing crit. So I guess its a bug or not as intended ie: exploit

  5. I recently finished Chapter 3 and was able to complete and unlock all companion conversations, except For Corso Riggs. He stopped talking to me a while back and I just thought he had nothing to say until later in the story. I have submitted a bug report ticket, but it seems strange that this has manifested itself again after many, many years of it being "fixed"? In my mission window, I have a heading that says "Companion" but when I expand it, it is blank where the name of the mission should be. The only thing I can do is toggle the show/hide circle thingy on the right hand side, but no mission. Anyone else experience this recently? EDIT: This was fixed in 4.0.3 patch. I am able to talk to Corso again
  6. If that's all they cared about then I want my Party Jawa!! I have wanted one of these, or at least have the ability to group with someone who has one, just so I can complete the Tattooine achievement. Fingers crossed this item is "re-gifted" to me. I actually wouldn't mind it if the ability to group with someone who has the party jawa was an option, that way ALL the people that are going to dump on me about it being a special item because they were around since the dawn of time and I should have used my Jedi powers to sense there was a Star Wars MMO in development and got on board at that point, can rest assured that it is still a unique item, but that their friends or fellow guildies can benefit from the achievement..
  7. No mention of PVPers no longer being able to run riot on opposing faction home worlds - which was "patched" but wasn't really?
  8. I agree. I recently levelled my Smuggler and found that I would do the planet arc missions if my level was the same as the beginning level of that planet and would not start the planet arc if my level was at the level-sync cap - i.e.: 2 levels above planet's range. I have noticed, however, that after completing a mission, you now get a choice of an updated "green" piece of armour or 1-12 basic crystals. I opted for the green armour and hope that it doesn't hurt my crystal wallet at elder game when I want to buy the 208 basic armour before tackling ops and hard-mode flash points. At least the 12x XP usually gave 12 basic crystals with every mission completed and I could buy a full set of 208 armour
  9. In my opinion, the achievement should at least be put in the "archive" section along with NiM EV and KP and not part of the achievement for Tattooine. If not, what was the point of creating a separate section, devoted exclusively to these ops that can never again be achieved? That way it's still "exclusive" to everyone who was fortunate enough to be around at the time the Party Jawa was handed out and would also be in an area in your legacy window where people would know that this achievement can no longer be completed by new subs
  10. Every service you subscribe to, every utility you pay for, every financial institution you bank with will always have a "reward" to attract new business. All the "honeymoon" deals that are offered in advertising are always for new customers only regardless of how long "you" have been with said company. When was the last time your financial institution said to you, "We've got this great new home loan at a ridiculous low rate for the first 12 months. You've had your home loan with us for 15 years now, so we're doing the same for you, enjoy"? Gone are the days when loyalty to a single company is recognised - you used to get a gold watch and an envelope full of cash for staying in the same company for a long, long time... now, people just ask, "What's wrong with you?! Why are you still here?" It's sad, but it's the truth
  11. With my sentinel I will have to hope that at least one of the elites in a mob is a droid so I can use CC
  12. I have noticed my Walker mount walks up ramps much slower than any regular mount. This is noticeable on all ramps, but it was particularly noticeable during Bounty Contract week. While doing the Nar Shaddaa bounties and you have to continuously go up and down the ramps between the client and the cantina and taxi point, what have you, the walker is much slower to climb those ramps than a regular-sized speeder. I found if you walk up the ramp on an angle, almost zig zag your way up, the walker mount moves a bit faster, but if you go straight up the ramp, it feels like you're driving an armoured snail. Try it for yourself…. or is it just me?
  13. I was levelling a couple of toons at the same time during the 12x XP - a Shadow and a Bounty Hunter. My BH's mission log was completely empty and I could not remember where I was up to exactly - I thought I was up to the 2 FPs to complete the Ilum quest line, but my login screen said "Interlude" so I just started the Makeb storyline from my ship's mission console, thinking that I may have already completed those 2 FPs. A few days later, I logged on with my Trooper, who has already completed Ilum, Makeb, Oricon, Prelude to SoR, Rishi and Yavin 4, but in my Trooper's mission log it listed the 2 Ilum FPs required to finish the Ilum quest line. I think the "wires" got crossed somehow between my BH and my Trooper and I'm not sure what adverse affects, if any, this may cause, seeing as I have 100% completion on Ilum. I had put in a ticket regarding my empty mission log on my BH, but added the update with my findings on my Trooper
  14. Due to the extreme duress this has put me under BW, how about all of the mentioned compensation items, as well as a "party jawa balloon" AND a Czerka Crate-o-matic.
  15. I just logged in after the 4.0.1 update to find I have received my hard-earned Makeb Gazebo decoration. Looks great and I'm glad I completed both pub and imp versions. Then I go on the GTN to find you can buy it for as low as 50k-55k? What was the point of completing the achievement if there's no record that I can find in my legacy of having done so? I would understand if this deco was bound and I could proudly display it in my stronghold, but now everybody can have one for a very, very low price and yet I can never get a Jawa Balloon to complete Tatooine achievements because I came in to the game after it went F2P? What the?
  16. I have posted my disapproval of level sync earlier on in this thread - and I have since participated in a few more "tactical" flashpoints - and I must say, my view has not changed - this seems to be a case of "it looks good on paper, therefore, it must be the right decision". Again, I was level-synced to 65 from 60, and again grouped with much, much lower level players bolstered to 65. And, before you start on me - I am not dissing lower level players as I know we have, ALL OF US, been there. And that is why they HAD low level flashpoints so new and / or inexperienced players could participate in group content. FANTASTIC! All for it. As luck or chance would have it all of us are dps - seems like still nobody is rolling tanks and healers - and that wasn't really a problem pre 4.0, but now is quite a different story. These "tacticals" suddenly become more like hard modes. Again, some members in these tactical flashpoints were first timers and they died… they died a lot, and that's to be expected, nothing new there - like I said we have ALL been there. This means you're down to three, two or even one player, trying to survive through a fight. The lower-level players soon left the group, probably because they felt like they were letting the group down, but most likely because it's no fun getting your butt handed to you in every mob fight. This left the rest of the group in a bit of a predicament, where we were too far advanced for replacements to solo their way to us if they happened across a mob that we avoided or CC'd or some roaming champion that was not in our path at the time, and we're stuck in an area where mobs / elites / bosses are too hard for us to progress forward without a replacement. I know one of us can summon a companion, but that's not really the point and negates the reason for introducing level-sync. So, it's back to queuing - Great! More downtime! What should have been an enjoyable 20-40 minutes of group finder where explaining a boss fight to an appropriate level first-time player - something I like to do because it helps a player to "grow", turns in to a not-so-enjoyable, tedious and laborious effort, because even though a first-time player may know the "mechanics" of a fight, they're just ill-equipped to survive it because they're level-synced 40 times past their level. If you're goal is to make every encounter "challenging", why not include operations in to the level-sync mix? I wonder how the players who like the idea of level sync would feel if, when pulling together an operations group, they didn't have the choice to post this little gem we see and "love" all the time in fleet chat, "….please be geared! Post your achievement! AND KNOW THE FIGHT!" and instead, be grouped with level-synced, under-geared, ill-prepared players. There is a reason these operations are for level 50-65 players and there is a reason why there were level-appropriate flashpoints, and why they should be re-introduced to this game. If nothing else, make the same rules for "tacticals" as hard modes where you need a tank, a healer and 2 dps. Perhaps that might make the experience more enjoyable / more survivable - I don't know. Like I said in my previous post, I think I "level-sync" enough when I level a new character through every single planet so that when I reach the top of MY game, I don't "feel" like I'm levelling my character all over again every single time I revisit a planet. Even though it may be a bit easier than the first time, it's still a hassle where it shouldn't be. And don't even get me started on level-sync problems where they relate to time-line / spoiler alert issues where someone new to the game is levelling their first toon through their class quests, then when they group for a random flashpoint, and if they make it to the end, it spoils their story later down the track. Its one of the reasons, I would think, that certain flashpoints can't be done until you're at a certain level or progressed through to a certain part of your story.
  17. I also hate the levelling sync feature mainly for the reasons as stated by many posters - I am largely a solo player and loved the fact I could go back to earlier planets and complete heroics and legacy achievements without having to wait hours or days to find a group to help. 12x XP was a prime example of many people being focussed on power levelling through class missions that all other content was ignored. I spent the better half of last month just grinding my way through as many achievements as I could. Soloing many low level HM Fps to get these achievements was a grind - let's face it, doing 25 HM FPs to get a single achievement is one heck of a grind, but I was progressing and that was fun for me. Last night I spent over an hour waiting for a HM FP to pop - "The False Emperor" - there we were, two lvl 65s and two lvl 60s, and it was, to say the least, difficult. I felt the 1.5 years I spent levelling toons, immersing myself in the story, etc was simply wasted overnight because suddenly I'm so squishy again. Having to go through that for another 24 times to get the achievement? No, thank you. I would love to see this level sync as a selectable option, too. If PvP is your thing, why not make it so you're automatically level synced as soon as you're flagged for PvP? That way you're happy you're not being one-shotted and PvE players are happy because they feel like the powerful master they've worked so hard to be
  18. Anyone wanna buy One billion gagillion fafillion shabadabalo shabadamillion shabaling shabalomillion Temple Chair (Basic) pieces? Going real cheap I bought them thinking I could put them all in my Stronghold, but it turns out I can't place them all… who'd of thunk it?
