  1. The Three heroics on Ord Mantal are all really easy and quick and in the same area, so those should definitely go on the list. Belsavis has Jungle fight. which is really kill up to 10 mobs in a cave and click on a body, if someone has just done it recently you can't get the bonus until the mobs respawn, but you run into a small cave click a body and quest over, super short.
  2. Thanks for the answers and the link, so many 3rd party sites are rather out of date (even portions of Dulfy are woefully out of date) so it's hard to know which sires are giving accurate information.
  3. So I have only just stuck my toe into PvP (for the 4x Quest of course). But I have discovered that I kinda like it and want to do more, but I have a few questions about it. 1: The advanced PvP gear vendors seem to require the non-advanced version of the gear you want, does this have to be complete, or can it be an empty shell after you take the mods out of it? If it has to be complete can it work if you put the mods back in? 2: Is there a list somewhere of what all you can get medals for? I'm wondering since in a few matches it has been a bit hard to get the 8 medals that the tooltip says is for max rewards. 3: on the scoreboard at the end some players names are highlighted in a different color, what does this signify if anything? 4: In most games I had fun but in the one 4v4 game I was in I spent the entire time stun-locked by 3 assassins who would surprise attack, kill one of us and stealth away. Is there something I'm missing here that counters that or did I just hit a good team using good tactics?
  4. GTNing the companion gifts is likely your best bet for turning crystals into credits, the rank 6 ones cost 30 crystals are are selling for around 65K each on my server.
  5. Call customer service phone number, although, now that I think of it, it's weird that you can post here, given that only subs can, so at least the forums are recognizing that you are subbed.
  6. Thanks, a guildie had said that he was under the impression they didn't. Since I hate activated relics and don't run opps or want to spend 5+mill I wanted to just use the PvP relics all the time, since they are better than the trusty old 186s I've had since 3.0.
  7. PvE Proc relics specifically call out not proccing in WZs, but PvP relics don't say they only work in WZs. So could I use PvP relics outside a WZ?
  8. the opener of Hardcasting chain lighting -> Force Storm -> proced Chain lightning will take down most silver or weaker mobs, or at least leave them very weakened.
  9. they all share it, you should just be able to click on the stronghold icon and travel there.
  10. I have noticed more people grouping up, and GF seems to be popping faster. Honestly I'm really not sure what repair costs add to the enjoyment of the game, so here's hoping they stay gone forever.
  11. Most of the account unlocks are honestly better purchased with credits off the GTN, I found that using the coins to unlock thins in collections that I had bought with credits gave the best return. (Or the few things that actually require CC, appearance change, GSF requisition conversion etc...
  12. Nope, you do not have to get them to rank 50, that would be huge! I'm not sure if there is currently a influence requirement but if there is it is at or under 10K (rank 10). That is easily achievable with rank 1 gifts bought off of the fleet, roughly 70 of them if you have the buff to affection from gifts (which you should always get for all characters).
  13. Actually it is not just a dead and shrinking population. I decided to randomly hop on one night while I was trying to rack up conquest points and loved it. I know I'm not that good at it yet, I know my ships are sometimes at a huge disadvantage, but I'm both learning and earning my way upwards and man it still feels great when I manage to get a silver medal in the scoring at the end. I will admit some games are not particularly fun (I ended 1 TDM at 2 to 50 and those 2 were self destructs) but by and large I enjoy the heck out of GSF and intend to continue playing (not just for conquest poitns either, although never having to worry about that on my conquest toons is pretty nice).
  14. It's not you who is bugged it's the daily/weekly. Since 4.0 they made all flashpoints tactical, but check the details of the quest in your log, one certain flashpoints count towards it. I'm sure this will eventually be fixed, but right now it is quite annoying since if we que up for only the flashpoints that get credit we don't get the daily award/conquest points.
  15. It was hilarious on ord Mantell on the 3 heroic quests there, you couldn't see the enemies under the giant pile of corpses from the large monsters but things are so weak that just spamming an AoE occasionally will kill anything that might get in your way, you just can't see them.
  16. But the same principle stands, those who "need" them for opps can get them from opps. Those who don't run opps are scared away by the price tag. This issue is compounded by the fact that their construction is tied to conquest mats, which are either fairly expensive, or time-consuming/limited. Also since the materials needed to craft them are so limited many crafters might be using them to upgrade their own characters first, and only when they don't need them any longer selling them. I know that I have made it a priority to fully craft my own gear for my main and he is currently a mix of 216s and 220s at the moment (he's a synthweaver) as I get enough mats I RE the 216 piece he has been wearing and craft the 220 version, I have had 3-4 characters complete conquest goals each week and bought another 3-4 mats off the GTN, which still hasn't been enough to fully deck him out. I imagine that we will eventually see more of the crafted goods on the GTN, but right now they are the best thing available for non-raiders, so all non-raider crafters want to actually experience an in game advantage before selling their hard work.
  17. So as a Statistics major I'm fairly sure this is just the way randomness can cause hilariously unlikely things to happen if tried enough, I too have a run of awful luck with Nico. somewhere around 1/3 or 4 missions are failures. For me at least I've gotten 50% crit on the missions he doesn't fail though so no complaints!
  18. +1 For faster spawns. I have tried to do this quest 8 times at various times during the day, I have never seen a single one of the mobs and always found 4+ people already waiting for them to respawn. Not currently worth the trouble/time required.
  19. Yeah, this is why I don't do Operations. Too many people who will insult/kick you for not having done it before, which makes it really hard to get into. I used to try Queing for SM OPs, I got 4 pops, 3 of which kicked me before the run started when I admitted I hadn't run the content before.
  20. I must say the newly tactical FPs took some getting used to. I never played the old FPs before, since they required groups at specific levels, by the time I was max level (55 back then) basically all of the end-game bosses were completely immune to being interrupted, so it stopped being some thing I thought about for boss fights. I logged on in 4.0, was annihilated by the first tac FP I tried and then read up on it. Since then with frequent use of interrupts the boss fights aren't particularly hard (unless they glitch). Now, if we could just tune down the trash maybe 15% I think Tacticals would be in a great place.
  21. Yup, I'm for this very strongly. With the one caveat that the PvP areas in the world should still be fair game, if you want to try to get droid bosses for the gree event in the PvP area be prepared to PvP. But yeah, outside of specific zones? no flagging please!
  22. Honestly I would recommend all (well... most) of them. It can be quite useful to have a full stable of crafters and gatherers among your toons. Each update the market has the possibility of fluctuating quite a bit, so if you want sustainable credits over the long term you want a well rounded set up to adapt to whatever is selling high at the moment. TL:DR: Synth-weaving.
  23. They've been dropping since 3.0 came out, I know that I stopped bothering to try GTNing them months ago, there were never any buyers, since a crafter only needs each schematic once but a gatherer can grab them far more frequently than a new crafter enters the market.
  24. when you are in a flash point there is a "bolster" mechanic that raises your stats to that of a 65. It doesn't work perfectly, as you have discovered your character has yet to learn some/many of the critical abilities for tanking. This current system was introduced with 4.0 just a few weeks ago so it isn't quite tuned correctly yet, sorry you had a negative experience with it.
