  1. does that worry anyone else or is just me? i enjoy a challenge and that seems a little too fast xD makes me feel like raiding will be super easy.

Raiding in general is super easy, unless you're herding a bunch of cats around trying to get them to follow simple instructions.

  2. I'll afk if I get a team full of derps in huttball that do nothing but fight in the center all game instead of following the ball, and the sad part is sometimes doing that I get more rewards then I do for winning quick matches by a landslide.
  3. No way, leave my leveling speed alone.

I play like 1 hour a day, i don't want to have to grind for fricken weeks to get a few levels.

I love how it doesn't feel like i have to have no life to get ahead and level in this game.

Give this man a medal, people who don't like the leveling speed can slow themselves the **** down, leave everyone else alone.

  4. Yes, I actually own every one of them MMO's and I also alt+f4ed all of them games 30min after. All of them also died 2-3 months after release, just like this game is.

just an fyi, rift isn't dead incase you hadn't noticed, but it's pvp gear system is certainly retarded.

Also, you ever stop to think the problems your having with the game are because of you and not the game ? If so many other people can pvp fine but you seem to be unable to, that leads us to the fact that you're just bad and came here to QQ.

  5. First off the exp you get from a warzone win is equal to that of about 2 side quests

but warzones of course take much less time and a quest would only be that short if you skip all the conversations. In theory someone could pvp from 10-50 purely without doing any quests and still be a viable level 50 by having pvp gear then getting carried in flashpoints.

Lowering the amount of exp would also be nice but getting rid of it would be the best solution in my eyes.

    Thoughts?

How about you don't pvp if you don't like it ? Why do you care so much about how people choose to level up.

  6. its not biowares job to hold our hands in game too ( not saying your friend needed it..just in general) we should not need to have everything do overable.

    shrug

It's not hand holding, it's just a simple feature that's become commonplace in most games and should be standard in all that hold multiple forms of currency.

  7. This ruins the risk/reward part of buying the mystery box. What they should do is allow you to trade one type of commendation for another like you could near the end of beta. My smuggler has two Ord Mantell commendations... that I can't use... and will be stuck with. Forever.

Or they could just flag the randomly generated items that come out of the mystery box not as commendation items (since it's supposed to be random items, and not stuff you normally buy with comms).

Trading commendations would be nice to have as well, but the "mystery box" isn't really a valid argument when it doesn't apply to the problem.

  8. Yes! Yes it is!

I can understand why someone is frustrated that they can't get in today. But it is utterly incomprehensible that they would lash out at BW for it when BW had absolutely nothing to do with their situation. The players knew the rules and they screwed themselves over and it is completely 100% ludicrous that they feel right in acting they way they are.

Or, or, bioware could you know not be completely idiotic in how they handled the first 3 days so far (hell even the first 2) and they would of had everyone in by now. The problem lies in them being unwilling to change their horribly laid plans, when they realized they could do so without causing problems. Also another problem is that they decided it was a "smart idea" to not bring up all the servers at once, when they knew exactly how many they would need at a minimum with an even population distribution.

Also bioware seems to think that they can legitimately keep up the "get up to 5 days of early game access" sign as a part of their sales pitch for people ordering as late as today, when the reality of it is those people have zero chance of actually getting anything close to 5 days. Poor business management and decision making processes led to this, now the consumers have to pay for what should of been a routine procedural game launch.

  9. I mean what the heck do they have to do really? I have never heard of scheduled maintenance (excluding emergency maintenance) taking longer than 30 mins to an hour....EVER. I have been playing MMOs for like 10 years now.

Then I can't rightly believe you aren't just flat out lying, either that or you didn't pay attention to the maintenance times for most of the games you played since they're generally during off hours.

  10. Why is it that you new players dont choose lower populated servers?? Now we have to wait 30-45 mins to log in, and there are 20+ servers with LOADS of room!!:mad::mad::confused::confused::confused:

Blame bioware for not opening up all their servers at once, and allowing all their players at once, so the populations would of had a better chance of evenly distributing themselves. Unfortunately now everyone wants to try and get to the "hot spot" as it were and the "staggered" release gets to backfire on itself, oh the sweet irony.

  11. i was thinking about getting up on the same soapbox, but i took an arrow in the knee

arrow! for shame! it's a BLASTER to the knee jebus... But I digress, the soapbox thing is honestly a waste of time on any kind of internet forum related to a computer game of any type, because the people who matter won't care, and all it does is waste time you could of spent taking a nap.

  12. UP TO!!! being the key words here. What is misleading about that? Read it to yourself out loud and see if it makes any sense. UP to 5 days, not 5 days guaranteed but a possibility of having five extra days.

Oh the tears, how they flow

Actually it isn't misleading so much as it's a direct lie by the company when they still have it posted on the website, since they knew then (and now) that the people coming in on the tail end wouldn't have a shot at getting 5 days because they were unwilling to deviate from their "plan" to fit everyone in on schedule.

"UP TO 5 days" implys the potentiality of actually getting those 5 days, so in this case bioware /EA is just continuing to directly lie to any new preorders.

  13. There's been no train wreck. Just a lot of self entitled complainers.

Oh no it's definitely been a pretty awfully executed launch phase, don't know if id go so far as to call it a train wreck but the developers persistence to follow through with their horribly laid plans because even though they could of doubled the number of people let in on the 13th EASILY and worked out the extra servers and had them up yesterday, they thought "oh no, lets stick to the plan, as terrible as it is we gotta stick to our guns, because you know adapting to the situation at hand is always a horrible idea".

And the only self entitled complainer I see around here is you and the other fanboys feebly trying to rush to biowares aid as if they needed your reassurance.

  14. I don't get why you believe this is launch, it isn't it is early access. This is not something you paid for it is a gift a bonus if you will. Launch isn't till midnight 12/20 and based off of WoW's launch this is a downright success. And no I have gotten my early access email yet either. So give them a break it isn't exactly easy or quick getting these games launched.

If you and everyone else hanging on this delusional idea that somehow "early access" isn't the games actual "launch" actually believe what you keep saying you need to have your heads checked.

  15. ALSO, Numbers aren't everything in PVP.. I've seen Shadows/Assassins take on multiple players at a time. Coordinate.

Well it's not just that, it's that open world pvp in this game is a joke, so having one sides faction skewed doesn't matter. The main problem for the empire side I'm sure we'll be seeing on alot of servers is longer que times for warfronts however with the ratio being way off, with almost instant ques for republic.
