  1. I know this is a bug and likely upsetting some people, but I'm honestly impressed someone was able to do that.
  2. I've not had it happen that often, thankfully. It's quite pathetic and immature. Though I was in a warzone once, used the /chair emote since it was the last few seconds and we had already lost, and this dude decided to put his toon's crotch right in my toon's face. Then when I got up, he proceeded to follow around trying to put his toon right up on mine (standing position, you get the idea). Couple times I've been whispered from people asking if I'm a girl in real life. Though, it was funny once. Partnered up with a guy on Nar Shaddaa for a heroic. He asked if I was a girl, and when I told him "no," he suddenly replied oddly "hahaha yeah I totally love to stare at girls butts all day lol." Kinda felt like a "no ****, bro" moment since he was playing a guy toon.
  3. I just love the fact that Kaliyo asked if she could have the agent's stuff. Reminds me of all the times people have ranted that they're quitting the game and someone else asked for their stuff. Both your agent and warrior crack me up.
  4. Or, even faster, with less trolling involved: Google.

  6. What are you smoking, and can I have some?
  7. I'm really shocked I managed to do this solo, since apparently so many people have had trouble with it. Now I feel kinda bad I told a guy to do it on his own when I saw him asking for help in chat. I had fully modded orange gear and was using Treek, so that might be why I was able to survive. OP, if you can get Treek, I would suggest you do so and use her. She's quite useful and got me through the fight with little issue.
  8. I also made a "Miraluka" only it was a human who will get Kreia's robes to cover the eyes, because I hate all the current masks. The only one I like looks very primitive. /signed
  9. I'm not what you would really consider to be a "new" player, but I figured I'd get screamed at less for being a "n00b" if I posted here rather than in the class forums. Besides, I'm always looking to learn new things to make myself better. I'm planning to level a new toon now my Juggernaut has gotten to level 47. I've had my share of grief playing that class as DPS (even though I've loved the story), and I honestly kind of hate it after having so much fun playing my Sentinel. I have a couple spare character slots, as well as some toons I have ready to start. Note, I do have Treek unlocked for all toons, as she's the best companion for fights I've ever used. I'm not looking to do OPs, though I might venture into a few HM FPs if I feel like it. I don't really get into WZs, though I admit I like kicking arse if I can (I don't play ranked). I really just can't decide what to play next, though I do have plenty of time with 12x XP lasting until December. 1. How easy is playing a Mercenary? I started one and got it to level 18 before I deleted it because the specific character attached to the class no longer interested me. Does the story get good after the Great Hunt? It's kind of a snooze fest as of Balmorra. 2. Guardian. I love the Knight story. However, after hating a DPS Juggernaut the whole way, I'm not sure how easy it will be playing a Guardian. Would I be better off trying to solo level a tank Guardian instead? I know nothing about gearing for tanks, as I've only played DPS and nothing else. 3. Vanguard. I've not enjoyed the story, but then again, starting planet stories aren't that great overall. Does the trooper story get better? I like playing a sort of "grey" trooper that sticks to orders and ends up screwing over civilians in the process. I'm getting used to the whole "melee but has a blaster" thing. 4. Shadow. I admit, I chose it because I think double-bladed lightsabers are really cool and I'd seen the high level attacks that come with the AC. I'm finally getting the hang of how to use the class, though Force management during boss fights still isn't working. However, I had played the consular story through Tatooine and thought it was a drag. Does it start getting better once chapter 1 finishes? 5. Sage. Same issue with the consular story. Is a DPS Sage a viable solo PVE option for a "noob" like me? It seems to be like an easy class on the surface, but I just wanted to be sure. 6. Sniper. I love the espionage and sneaking around in the Agent story since I played until Alderaan once. I'm kinda leaning toward this one, though it's a tad hard to play since I hate how my character looks, but that's easily resolved. Any difficulties playing solo with this class? 7. Gunslinger. I know it's the mirror class of Sniper. I honestly hate the Smuggler story. It's a little funny in spots and the flirting options are hilarious. But other than that, it's boring and I really don't get why the Smuggler really cares if Skavak has his ship if he gets a new one on Coruscant. Seems more like I should've caught up with Skavak by now. Does it get better after chapter 1? I just started Alderaan, so I'm close. 8. Scoundrel. I hate playing DPS with Scoundrel/Operative, I'll be honest. Tried it on both, now my Scoundrel is level 15 on my second go at this AC (first go, I got to Taris). Am I able to play a solo healer on this class at all, or should I just suck it up and play a DPS, then switch to healer once I get to endgame? EDIT: 9. Assassin. I hate the Inquisitor story. I like Lord Zash, but everything else is yawn-worthy. I've played through Balmorra on it. Please tell me it gets better. I hear such good things about the story and I want to like it. Sorry for the length of this post. Let me know if there's any missing information needed to help me. I think I covered all my bases, but I might've missed something. Thank you for your help!
  10. Well, for one, this doesn't go in the suggestion box. Try the Support forum or even "New Player Help." For two, currently they are running a closed beta test for the 3.0 expansion, and unless you get an invitation, you can't be on the PTS until they finish testing 3.0.
  11. Well, I think part of the problem is you're using a Marauder with Jaesa. If you're really comfortable playing the class and you know how to increase your survivability, then you can get away with it, but I had to switch out Kira for Treek on Alderaan on my Sentinel, personally. So kudos to you getting this far with Jaesa. Also, Quinn is not that great of a healer, honestly. BUT what might help is you hitting the ` on your keyboard (has the little ~ above it on the same key), and you can disable Quinn's attacks so he just heals you. If you can make it until you get Pierce (end of Taris), you'll see a major increase in survivability once you get a tank, as Sents/Maras are made to be walking blitzkriegs and nothing else, making their natural survivability pretty low unless you get really good at what you're doing. Also, make use of as many medpacs and stims as you can, as that will help. I believe you already have the Force Choke ability, so use that along with other interrupts (Force Charge is one, as well as Smash). What will really be the best thing for you, though, is getting Treek if you feel like spending the cartel coins. Worth every penny, IMO.
  12. Man, I hate when I accidentally do that. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, I apologize all over myself every time and feel really bad when my group is nice enough to save my ***. Luckily, I don't do Operations, so I think that's why my groupmates are understanding.
  13. Sentinel is fun. I play Watchman tree and the rotation isn't that complicated. I wouldn't say overly simple, however, since you do need to have the right rotation to get the maximum amount of DPS and mow down enemies. Once you figure out the whole "what damage buttons do I press first" and add in the interrupts, it ends up being quite fun. Especially in the later levels when you pretty much never worry about focus anymore. Oh, and if you get good at playing Sentinel class, other players will love you for not acting stupid like some other Sentinel players tend to. I have not played Vanguard very high (only to level 13) so I can't speak on it and will let someone else discuss the class, but I generally prefer melee classes that have sword-type weapons. Which leads me to saying you need to go with what you think you would prefer. Good luck!
  14. I go after them for the thrill of the hunt and the satisfaction of finally getting it after a lot of Mario-esque jumping and usually a lot of starting over. Just a fun side thing to do, like an unofficial quest.
  15. Bounty hunters are not "evil." You can play them light side. Why not go with mercenary and play light side?
  16. ... This makes no sense. You have your stronghold management window which you use to travel to your strongholds. Why would you need a taxi to get to it (which costs credits, I might add) when you can travel to your stronghold in two clicks for free?
  17. Legacy storage is for unbound items you want to have spread among your characters. No, you can't transfer bound items between characters. Unbound you can transfer.
  18. Not if it's bound (the tooltip will say if it's bound). If it's not bound, or bound to legacy, you absolutely can. But if it is bound to your character, it stays bound and you cannot transfer it between characters (you can sell it if you don't need it, however).
  19. If it helps any, in the Jedi Knight story, the NPC Jedi that helps you on Hoth had been studying Force sensitivity in droids. Still would be really hard to explain, I'm not arguing that, just that BioWare did open themselves to the opportunity IF they ever thought this would be worth doing. I think the CM droid gear is good enough and don't personally support the idea of playable droid species, but whatever floats your boat.
  20. Everyone turns white (regardless of original skin color) with veins all over their faces and weird eyes when they go full dark side. Full light side there is no change. No voice changes that I know of.
  21. Your mail doesn't get deleted for thirty days, so you'll be fine.
