  1. I'd have to say it has been, althought I have only dipped my toes in the "multiplayer" aspect so far (Esseles twice, Black talon once, a couple of Heroic quests, and the occasional "team up with someone in the area".)
  2. My SW first name is the same as my actual first name, oddly enough.
  3. I do try to RP my companion interactions as part of my characters. This can be tricky, for example figuring out how to show how my SW (who is a complete sadist) can interact with Vette given the dialogue choices. She has spent a lot of time with negative affection. But I have at least come up with an explanation for why he keeps her around - having your own slave is a huge status symbol, presumably. he even removed her shock collar, not out of affection, but to show that his dominance of her is not merely physical.
  4. So your character can be someone else's companion? There aren't enough games where the player is a supporting role . . .
  5. If they are going to add PvP swoop bike racing, better add PvP Pazaak.
  6. The phrasing, the voice, or both? Because now I can just imagine a Darth Planet who talks like that.
  7. I'm EricMusco's DL, and so's my wife.
  8. The impression I have gotten is that any orange piece of equipment has exactly 0 base stats, and as long as you keep the mods updated you can use the same piece from 1 to 55 and it will be about as good as green/blue equipment of that same level? And then is it mostly mods that drop in endgame content?
  9. All over the internet (at least in places that allow spaces in usernames) I am known as Eran of Arcadia. Eran is a name I gave myself in high school; it's (bad) Tolkien Elvish for "lone wanderer" or something like that. Arcadia is a city in California where I lived briefly in the early 2000s. The idea of putting them together like this came from the TV show "Joan of Arcadia" which was on around that time (and which I never watched).
  10. My cyborg IA has pretty much the least noticeable cyborg implants possible. I have just decided that most of his implants are internal.
  11. Considering that i first became aware of the concept from a science fiction parody novel, it seems only fitting.
  12. What I suspect is that all the other posters here, as well as all other people everywhere, and the rest of the observable universe, are actually figments of my imagination. Thus, by extension, I am all that exists.
  13. Hey, I refuse to just sit here and let other people insult dinosaurs. That is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Also, I started F2P because i didn't want to just jump blindly in, sight unseen, especially since I had never played an MMO before. But after 2 weeks I decided that I wanted to subscribe, so that I would get all the benefits of subscribing. So I subscribed. What I am saying is, EA and BW would never have gotten my money without the F2P model.
  14. I managed to not only accidentally flag myself PvP, but also kill another character, on Tattoine.
  15. Ah, I hadn't paid enough attention to that tab then . . .
  16. Okay, so I know that my characters gain legacy levels. (They are all on the same server/legacy). And I know that each level unlocks possible perks, which I can view from the legacy panel on the top screen. However, it looks like most of the unlocks have a message that says "this only unlocks for the current character" or something like that. Does that mean that I would need to buy each perk for each character separately? Given how much they all cost (in CCs or credits) this seems a bit prohibitive. or have I missed something?
  17. My favorites: Male IA - a tone of "get out of my way or I will kill you", but very subtle and polite. Male SI - especially the snark and disregard he shows for pretty much everything that he considers beneath him Jorgan - I mean, the guy even ACTS like Lassie would if he were a space cat.
  18. But then, I don't see "light side character" as synonymous with "character whose worldview and understanding of galactic politics is 100% accurate". Or vise versa - you can be naive without being innocent.
  19. Because the character values political stability over freedom, and ignores/justifies the bad behavior of any given Imp leader as a "necessary evil". I mean, I'm not saying the guy is RIGHT, but many American and Soviet citizens thought highly of their respective power blocs during the Cold War, notwithstanding the nasty things each side did.
  20. A character could very well see a disconnect betwee the Sith and the average citizen of the empire. I mean, my IA sees one of his duties to protect the common people from the depredations of the Dark Council, because he sees the real leaders of the Empire as the moffs and generals and people like him, and the Sith are just parasites. So if you look hard enough, there is a justification for anything.
  21. Where can someone with no MMO experience and a low-level tak character go to practice tanking, anyways? I would hate to burden a FP with my "hold on, I've never tanked before".
