  1. I love the translucent coloured ones, and have unlocked all of them for my account, but I realised this weekend that there's no turquoise, yellow, or purple, and there really should be!

    So maybe the next time y'all are trying to think of a mount to toss into a pack/add to the store, you could consider making a new Aratech mount ^_^

    (Yes this is a 'shut up and take my money' fluff post but they do mention Aratech mounts in Jedi Survivor, so no harm no foul, eh?)

  2. It’s difficult but not impossible. It just takes a little ingenuity. First of all, do not go near the guardian robots. You DON'T want them to activate. Stay up against the wall and get as close as you can to the shield generating droids to shoot at them or throw your lightsaber(s). This is the safest way to get rid of them it just takes a little while. You can approach them to hit them directly but you have to make sure the guardian robots don’t activate. Right before you destroy the last one dismiss Tau because she’ll head for the main computer brain and activate the guardian robots. In the event that the guardian robots do activate let Lana deal with them. Stay away from her and let her draw them away from you. For some reason they were unable to kill her when I did this. While they’re busy with her you’re free to kill the main brain computer. One more thing, healing blocks do heal, all you have to do is stand in them.

    Excuse the necro, but this thread wasn't about Story Mode, where you have two comps with you. The thread was started because running this FP in SOLO mode is borked. One companion, even a level 50, gets overwhelmed by the adds and dies.

    Haven't been able to play due to PC repairs and hopped on to see if anything had been done about this issue. Looks as if the answer is no :c

  3. Aaaand it's STILL bugged :C

    Off-hand holster worked for a hot minute on Andronikos with the DT-11 but it's gone on my Merc

    EDIT: Apparently the cutscene killed it, because after getting the afk boot and logging back in, the off-hand holster is back, though who knows for how long >.<

  4. Okay! So I redid the Anarchy chapter then when I was trying to select Disavowed the cat decided to help and selected The Hunt instead. After escaping The Hunt - and removing said cat from the desk - I selected and launched Disavowed, and hit that point where the ". . ." goes on forever. I then dismissed the ". . ." effect from above my portrait like I do snowflakes, went up the elevator, turned around, AND THE CHAPTER LAUNCHED AS NORMAL.

    Theron was where he was supposed to be. And when I loaded into the Endless Swamp without him, I was able to summon him.

    I have NO IDEA why it worked last night when it hadn't the night before, but for anyone who still has Koth it's at least worth a retry I think.

  5. Ran into this issue last night on a brand new toon who had not caused Koth to leave but who had ESC'ed out of Disavowed the previous day because I needed to sleep.

    I'm going to redo Kaliyo's chapter, let the game boot me into Disavowed, and see if it still glitches. If it does, I guess I'll just wait for the 22 May patch :C

  6. It's designed wrong to go on a wall. It's a weeping tree, like a weeping willow. For it to belong on a wall, the delicate branches should droop to the ground, not defy gravity and point to the wall.

    Yeah, it's like whoever named it didn't bother telling whoever had to design it what was meant by "hanging." -_-;

    From what I've read, the vines on the hanging vines are facing the wrong way and go into the wall instead of hanging down.

    If the wall is shared with another room then they don't just go into the wall, they come out the other side and flutter as if blown by some unseen wind. It's hysterical, really. I put mine on one of those grill/vent-looking walls in the Manaan SH down where the elevator is in the Underwater Observatory, went into the room behind that wall and there was the rest of the deco.

  7. Rocket boost or even a fast mount and you can jump to it with relative ease.

    My friend was trying to platform there and that did not end well. >_< I'll have to try the rocket boost though, now that I know there's not an invisible wall there.

  8. These are perfect ideas...sadly, they're also something we'd likely pay for, so these will be sent over to the CM "team".

    Thank you! Though I almost regret posting them now haha >.<;

    I mean, while I much prefer the straightforward reach into my wallet of a CM direct purchase item to the blackjack table of a Cartel pack/hypercrate, there's certainly more than enough for them to put up in the CM at this point so I really hope I haven't given them any ideas about that!

  9. Title of this thread was just about verbatim my reaction to seeing the rewards.

    I won't complain about the free mount no matter how ugly I might think it is - at least it's not a Rark - but the' reskinned droid a year' thing is ridiculous. I'm a completionist collector and even I don't want another one.

    Why don't y'all reskin something else for a change, like...Light and Dark Side Banners like the Imp and Pub ones, purple/blue/green/white/etc Glowing Eyes like the Red and Gold ones, red/blue/white/silver/etc versions of the regen Meditation Chamber/Vader Pod, or SOA.

    Nothing crazy complicated, nothing that requires a new design, just...not another bloody droid mini pet lmao.

    There would probably be more people using them if the game remembered which one(s) you have out, but it forgets excessively easily. (Compare: GW2, where (a) minipets are unlocked account-wide, and (b) the game remembers which one you have out and whether you have it out, and © they are silent.)

    I use mine for screenshots because Aeden on tor-fashion suggested them as a way to change your toon's line of vision, and that can make for a better screenshot, but yeah, otherwise I don't typically run around with one out because they do seem to vanish/reappear of their own accord at times.

    One thing though: not all GW2 minis are silent :p

  10. Wait until you're past level 300 and get squat out of them. 400+ crates and counting and only five 248 items, 4 of which were the same belt (the same belt I already had).

    Meanwhile I haven't had a single belt drop for my Immortal Jugg since...I think Tier 1? He's currently my only character to break 300 and his belt is legit his lowest rated piece.

    As I'm not a raider or a PvP'er I don't need great gear, of course. I have a crap day, I log into SWTOR and unwind by killing things with a lightsaber, and after so many dead things I get a shiny box that might have cool stuff in it. If it doesn't, eh, at least I can burn it for points and UC. So for me the boxes are sort of fun to open because they're just a really nice bonus. Which is all the GC system should've ever been, imo. A bonus way to get geared. Players who need end game gear to actually play their preferred content never should've had to rely purely on RNG to get geared. I do hope it's better for those players now, since the changes to the GC system.

  11. Man, the day I loaded into my DK stronghold and was greeted by a mostly-naked Skadge...no decorating was done that day let me tell you.

    I legit thought they fixed this bug because I hadn't experienced it in so long, but this weekend I was decorating for Lifeday and there was Darth Hexid in my living room in her skivvies.

  12. They tried that with 5.0...it clearly failed. It failed miserably!!! This past week is the most alive this game has been since 5.0 dropped - planets that have been ghost towns since DvL ended, were full of life.

    Seriously. I'm not the type to want to step off the shuttle or w/e and be "given" top level gear. I don't mind grinding when there's an end in sight. But when the process is slower than a snail crossing a salt flat even those of us who preach to others about the joys of delayed gratification start to doubt that the gratification will ever come, and imo that's where GC was pre-bug.

    I hope they look at how many people were on Iokath before and after they fixed those rewards, because even with the CXP event still going on the numbers dropped significantly, and I don't want to go back to playing on dead planets.
