One or both. I can't really decide. I'm a Gunslinger. Having the crit would give me around 31% crit chance when buffed (up from 28%), but my lost power would drag my bonus damage down to 459, down from 480. Seems like crit is the way to go but i don't know.

That isn't what I mean though. And people can basically do what you're saying already. I want to be able to do ops in social gear. All of it is light armor. That means only consulars and inquisitors can do ops in social gear, which seems really unfair. I thought I read something about the armor state as light/heavy/medium changing depending on your class for social gear. I want to be able to use the collector's edition gear without having to roll a consular...

I'm still confused about social gear. Specifically, the armor. The Republic Officer social gear, for example, is "light armor." Is it viable for me, a Gunslinger, to put my end game mods in that? Or will it stay light armor?

There is no benefit to going dark v or light v long term Your relics will be quickly replaced in ops. The only difference between light side and dark side is the mount you get. Praxon Aero is light gray, Praxon Xeno is identical but dark gray. That's it.
