okay that is just awesome.....I can buy a single hawkeye crystal from GTN with credz, equip it, then unlock it for my legacy in collections. I have to equip it to make it work right?

Okay wait. So if I buy a pack, and get a hawkeye crystal level 10, I can equip it, then spend cc to unlock it for my legacy and get as many of them as i want for myself? on all my characters? does this work if I buy a hawkeye crystal from GTN that has the cartel market icon on it?

Thanks to both of you for info. I think I will go the route of selling something from cartel on the GTN and use the credz to buy the exact one I want. Appreciate the info and the suggestion. I had thought of doing that on my own but wasn't sure about which would be better route and if stuff that I buy could be RE'd.....that would have been a reason for me going the way of buying the packs, if I had been able to reverse engineer the stuff I bought. Now to watch the GTN for a bit and figure out what my best option is to sell for credz.

I understand why the home world strongholds would only be open to the particular faction of the homeworld....ie republic only for Coruscant. But is there any reason why both factions of your legacy couldn't use the same stronghold on Nar Shadaa or Tattoine?

Okay so I just finished playing my consular sage and it was a blast. Now what I am hoping to do is play to get all 4 of the buffs (I was really surprised that getting the buff for sage, allowed my empire characters to get the corresponding buff). So my question is for each class which is the best subclass for me to play. I play only PVE, and prefer to solo as much as possible. I don't like being the healer. I prefer long ranged DPS whenever possible (although I know thtat is not possible in all classes and I am willing to be close up ranged or even melee if that is the better option). So with that in mind what are my best options. Jedi/Knight - Sentinel? Guardian? Marauder? Juggernaut? Trooper/Bounty Hunter - Commando? Vanguard? Mercenary? Powertech? Smuggler/Agent - Gunslinger? Scoundrel? Sniper? Operative? Related to that question is a followup of which is the preferred or more optimal skill tree for the choice from above that you recommend. I realize everyone will have their own opinion but I am hoping for some personal experiences of people playing a certain class, and that is what I am hoping to hear....people letting me know how well they liked a certain class and how close their experience matched my requirements above.

I was looking for them just to update my own stuff. But I didn't realize the massive cost. So I think I will be happy with all my mods, enhancement and armor as well as earpieces, implants and so on at the max level I can make....53 or 54. I don't need aggravation and frustration and can't afford the bother of making the 55. Great guide by the way, Really well written and gives all the info without coming across in a snarky or condescending way. Again thanks for this post. Is there a reason this post has not been stickied? It certainly should be if for no other reason than to prevent people like me starting other threads that this one could answer right on the first page.

I can see in the GTN that things like armor, mods and enhancements go up to level 55. But I have completed the training for cybertech and don't have any schematics for level 55, most go up to 53 or maybe 54 but not all the way to 55. Do I have to buy them somewhere? Mission drop? Slice them? Any help would be appreciated.

Can't tell you how disappointed I am in companion dance. I wasted 250 cartel coins on a dance that lasts 3 seconds then has to be clicked again. Why is this not constant like the /dance emote? Why mislead and rip off customers who paid money for this very very disappointing emote. This is my first bad experience with the game and customer service. I am hoping that this will be changed in the future, the very very near future. Such a ripoff.

agreed, I didn't waste 250 cartel coins for a 3 second dance...I wasted them for a permanent dance like the /dance emote

okay thanks I totally misunderstood how it works. I thought if you fed one and the wampa didn't show up that was it. I didn't realize you kept feeding until the nest stopped allowing you to feed them. doing it this way will still cost less than just buying the thing outright and since I am waiting for others to be doing the bonus series heroics I might as well try for the mount

so if the nest lets me feed them, then at least one will actually take the lure? because I "fed" all three babies in a nest and nothing happened other than wasting the lures. do I just keep feeding them until the big thing appears or the nest stops allowing me to feed them?
