Most of the people that cared about the class/spec wrote guides etc left the game ages ago. Only people left are either playing fury or just swapped to something else.

You fault pvp'ers and raiders for this? Most of them I know dont like this update either mate, if anything the ability removal was done for the casuals that complained they had too many abilities and it was confusing.

I see the apologists goal posting has already moved to the "if the game shuts down is gonna be the fault or the negative nancies" and not because Bioware and EA have the minimal viable product approach with swtor now. Either way it's always impressive to see the old stages of grief happen in real time.

You type this as some kind of gotcha but this has always been the case in this game, I have never queued for gf ops and I have been playing since 2013. Ops have always been formed either via guild runs or fleet pugs, this is not a new thing. And if I say this mara and ops thing is because of hm/nim progression was very much alive and kicking back then not because I wanna do sm with pugs.

Not only cc, intimidating roar used by tanks was where the 15 per cent reduction on damage done was (were the mobs affected by the controlling effect or not), meaning it was a defensive cooldown for the entire team and worked on raid bosses. The fact that this was made a choice for tanks as well as dps specs tells me whoever did these changes doesnt even play the class and just took a hatchet to anything that had the word cc in it without knowing the intricacies of the classes and specs.

What's with this obsession with removing things? You know u can uncheck fp's or could before this garbage update? I did and I still got a lot of pops for other fp's. Same thing with abilities, all this supposed people that had "too many abilities" could just not put them on their bars, why should I be punished with a dumber class just because others dont even wanna learn how to play? Best part is the people complaining about abilitites didnt even do the content that requires them, but now I am forced to fiddle around with menus and **** just cos people were to lazy to just not put said abilities in their bars. "Play your way" my backside.

If I had to guess it was to not repeat what happened december 2014 when there was a big bug that couldnt be patched due to the devs being on holyday break. Imagine they dropped this patch and then it had to be as is on live for like a month without fixing anything.

This bug was still present in the latest PTS build 3 weeks ago, I'm not really sure they have a QA team anymore, maybe they just rely on pts people to bugtest for them or something, wouldn't surprise me at this point given the state of the update that made it live.

This seems to be 7.0 motto at this point.

Yes a lot of cc removed specially for warrior class, people have been giving negative feedback on pts forum about this for months but Bioware knows best TM and went ahead with it. Happy 10 year anniversary!

I can say that i started leveling a guardian (jugg class) from scratch and the gear you get at creation and the drops on Tython seem to be the same as in live can't say about rest of leveling since I didnt get past starter planet and with the way they changed how you acquire abilities seems like it will be incredibly boring until you get to level 30.

I dunno if it has been fixed but I remember the first boss of mando raiders tactical had the same problem, if you're the last one standing the kolto heals for basically nothing.

All the info I've seen was one streamer saying the heat management for mercs will be a bit harder so they are stlightly nerfed, can't say anything else since I didnt copy any healers on pts to check, not like mm fp's popped for me anyways due to timezones.

They did, we were in a raiding guild that did progression but between the whole rav/tos being an hydraulic overrides check, the bugs, the later story focus and abandonment of ops, and the stupid command system, the guild just fell apart, and it wasnt the only one in the server either. I just kept subbing to do some sm/hm and pvp but not as much as I did before and taking breaks to play other games. Most of my friends didnt even bother coming back to check anything past 5.0.

Sure as hell certain guilds doing nothing but premade on the mid bracket doesnt *********** help with that, it's either get farmed by level 40s on lowbie get farmed by the seal clubbers at mids with set bonus gear and level 74 or jump directly at 75 where you might as well pray you get an ability off before everyone and their mothers starts melting you. I pity new pvp players in this game now tbh, used to be such a fun mode years ago but now is just a jungle. The old brackets were a lot better for people to learn to pvp but as you said there's not enough people playing anymore for this **** to get better.

Swtor already did some minor pruning of unnecessary abilities with 3.0, some of them hurt to see go but they made sense in their reasoning for removing them, this time around tho? Nah too extreme and doesnt make sense when you see what they are removing from some classes and not from others.Especially when some of the ones getting removed were just introduced like 1 or 2 major patches ago.

Pretty sure that's against the tos of the forums, and it's also not so hard to find those post by yourself either.

I dunno if there are shills, but sure as hell there's a lot of 2 post account in these forums coming out of the woodwork with the "oh i dont do end game stuff so this update is perfect for me and people should stop complaining" wich to me reeks of troll.
