  1. How do you plan to deal with the servers which are constantly running at a Light population? Hundreds of players have posted on the forums in regards to servers having very low player counts - can we please get an official response?
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a cop lingering in the background behind that guy? http://oi39.tinypic.com/34hukjq.jpg
  3. Standard - Says it all. Im on Uthar Wynn - Pretty much 99% of the time in the past 2 weeks it has been light. When theres 100-160 people on each side from level 1-50 its quite hard to do anything. You can try and "start a community" but really, its the same faces that do anything. As for Rerolling - That breaks up communities.
  4. And you can just say good bye to your : Legacy Levels Alts Progression Guilds and communities, friends All your time and effort you've put into this game pretty much is what your saying. It might be easy, but once you've done it 3 times and have settled down with a community of 30 or so other people, not everyone is going to want to move. Its not an answer, its just some snide remark.
  5. The Korrealis Commander seems to have a spare seat sticking out of the side. Are there plans to turn it into a two player mount or is this a bug
  6. From first hand experience servers that are suffering from low population tend to have a very inactive economy and GTN leading to a lack of auctions and items you need. How do you plan to address these issues, and has there been any discussion into having a cross-server GTN?
  7. Hah, did you change that? Swear it was Cross-servers ;D I like the fact it'll keep the community together though.
  8. Couldn't have said it better myself. Hoping they have a plan for the population issue, otherwise this really won't help that much on Uthar Wynn (Low Population server)
  9. Good News! LFG Finder isn't going to be in 1.2 or 1.2.x but 1.3 - AND! To top the cake it's going to only be for your server.
  10. Thank you, I know its only data from one day, but still an insight. And as for the guild summit, it started Earlier, but I believe they showed a trailer and then wen't for a look around the studio? I might be wrong - but I think there's going to be some Q&A session later so Im hoping one of them will ask. Although im guessing as the majority of the people are in large guilds and have been selected from high ranking guilds? They may not have the same problem. Lets see!
  11. So today I decided to go through on my server and do each level, 1 - 50 and note down how many characters were logged on both Empire and Republic. I also decided to go onto Tomb of Freedon Nadd, which at the time that I started my scan was Heavy (http://i39.tinypic.com/5vyb8o.jpg) And by the time that I had finished writing up all the numbers became Very Heavy (http://i41.tinypic.com/a1n4k.jpg) Uthar Wynn EU-PvP between 19:08 - 19:24 had a combined total of 318 (161 Empire / 157 Republic putting the ratio at a lovely 1.02 E:R) Empire Level 1-10..........9 Level 11-20........16 Level 21-30........16 Level 31-40........27 Level 41-49........24 Level 50.............69 Republic Level 1-10.........5 Level 11-20.......19 Level 21-30.......22 Level 31-40.......18 Level 41-49.......18 Level 50............75 Tomb of Freedon Nadd EU-PvP between 18:30 - 18:54 had a combined total of 2923 (The screenshot was taken at 19:05) with 1680 Empire / 1243 Republic with a ratio of 1.35 E:R. Empire Level 1-10.........113 Level 11-20.......345 Level 21-30.......294 Level 31-40.......236 Level 41-49.......161 Level 50............531 Republic Level 1-10.........121 Level 11-20.......281 Level 21-30.......240 Level 31-40.......177 Level 41-49.......109 Level 50............315 With this in mind, the numbers put the status "Very Heavy" between 2900-3000+ People with only one server in the EU Reaching Very Heavy at prime times, around 12 at Heavy and 4-6 at Light status (Which standard is 500+ people based upon previous scans on Uthar Wynn). For those that want to see all of the numbers you can find it here : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApNiH-u_7cJPdGQ2WnpDb3Q1Y0lrQ0dzTFBKUHZDc0E After speaking to quite a few people in the starting zones on ToFN it seems like quite alot of those that I spoke to have chosen to reroll there due to their current server being very low population. Seems to be the current trend that new players to EU will choose the most populated server, along with those that are on servers who are currently experiencing population issues. With the numbers I've shown for Uthar Wynn the level spread is quite wide for a handful of players making questing on Planets, Flashpoints and heroics a challenge. Looking forward to seeing if they mention anything about this at the Guild Summit anyhow.
  12. Bit annoying but meh, All I wan't to know is where they stand on the low population servers. All in all the video looked quite good ;D
  13. Game might be, but the servers Sir are not. Please do not talk on behalf of everyone, if your on a populated and healthy server lucky you But some of us are not. And it IS a problem.
  14. Im doing the exact same with my server Uthar Wynn EU - Same format although I have included the full amount @ 50 (Whether its /who 50 or /who (class) individually). Its nice to see though, keep up the good work! Ill post mine when I've collected some more solid data.
  15. Indeed, they did alot .. Patch notes were Beefy as they should be. Also Im pretty sure they already at this point there was more PvE content and being released at a faster pace. But hey will be nice to see 1.2.
  16. If only the same could be said about Bioware and communication Server Population = sad topic
  17. Couldn't see anything about Server Population being one of the main problems! Sad face.
  18. In all fairness.. Rift did a good job pushing out the content and fixing the bugs. I'd say the Launch is about the same as Rift, it was probably one of the better ones. But over all Im still quite impressed with how Rift managed to put together alot in such a short period of time, fixing quite alot of the major problems in the game. Lets hope this week we hear what 1.2 has to offer. For many it might be a make or break.
  19. I did see that post, and in all honesty quite a shame. I don't know why this forum is called "General Discussion" because anything General or remotely useful, such as your post, is just either removed or closed. Along with the fact posts such as getting an Email from your companion can obtain a response from a moderator in 19 minutes, and a topic such as this hasn't been addressed in however many days now. Censorship at its best <3 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=340169&highlight=email - Link to the thread I was referring to and based upon the time of each response.
  20. Theres been a poll run by another forum user which seems to be quite interesting. Now you can argue its not all accurate but it gives you an interesting picture. http://i.imgur.com/QysEq.png (Taken from http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=312592) 49% of people are Unhappy. 45% of people are happy. 7% of people don't know / didn't make it clear. almost 50% of those that answered are unhappy with SWTOR and how it is at the moment. If this has already been brought up then ignore me And yes its been going for a while, but still - people are calling out for changes, mostly it seems at the moment in regards to population on some servers : Bioware need to address it soon - theres been more and more topics being opened and closed by new faces regarding this. Overall I love the game, but my server lacks the people to make the game fun.
  21. For a star fleet as well, thats quite impressive. Usually when I see giant ships I assume everyone got their own?
  22. Of course Warzones would be fixed aswell. But your forgetting: Lack of players would mean the following: Unable to complete world content such as heroic 2/4 man quests because there are still a lack of people on that server. Lack of items on the GTN because again, lack of people means the economy is not flourishing as it would be on a healthy populated server. Lack of guilds with experienced members / enough people to be able to complete raid content. Cross server is a band-aid solution to a bigger problem. Unless they make a cross-server GTN, cross-server LFG for heroic phases ect ect - But those are silly ideas - They need transfers or migration asap for the low populated and suffering realms. It solves one problem, but neglects the bigger picture.
  23. I'd like to personally encourage new players to go onto the less populated servers, because in two months there won't be anyone left by the time transfers are out Sad face. But either way Uthar Wynn.. Low population, pretty much at about 1:1 Imperial:Republic but stays at light status.
  24. If only you knew. Honestly Im on Uthar Wynn and its a pain. We're in the best Guild on Empire now due to the fact all other guilds clearing NM have rerolled or left. We are always at light now, and when were were at standard last it was about 540ish people on the whole server. I'm always checking and at peak times its about 150-160 empire and similar numbers on empire. Im sorry but that just isn't enough people considering the majority are spread out between 1-49 it makes it very hard to achieve any groups unless you ask a guildie for a boost. (Which really isn't as much fun as playing with people your level) Your comments are about as useful as a polished turd. Looks good but in the end its just a piece of crap. P.S: Not all listed as "Standard" there were about 6 servers yesterday at PEAK TIMES including Uthar Wynn which were all Light. And just in case you say otherwise : http://i41.tinypic.com/jha4vq.jpg
