  1. Oddly, Traitor Among the Chiss is my favorite fp. I have gone through and literally killed everything, then figured out a way onto the rooftops and hopped around up there looking at all the little buildings and details. It's really a beautiful fp. I don't care for the story elements with Theron being the traitor. I think there were other, more engaging options they could have gone with. I was personally hoping the real Theron had been captured and we were dealing with an evil clone. I would have had a blast saving spy boy, lol.
  2. A slightly different idea, but related is that once you use an appearance option on a character it's just unlocked and you don't have to pay for it repeatedly on that character. For example, say you decide to change your characters hair. You use your appearance modification, pay the CC's, go into the game and decide you don't like it after all. It would be great if we didn't have to pay for the original hairstyle. By the same token the new hairstyle should now be free to use on that character because you paid CC's for it. I know this will never be implemented, but I'd love it. It would be fun to be able to switch around my toons' looks without having to use CC every single time. I generally think anything you have to use CC's to buy should just be unlocked for use. Since they don't unlock there should be a credit option.
  3. True enough. In all fairness, I have no iea how simple or difficult a change like this would be. However, I would love to see it implemented in the future. Granted, I'd also love for all companions to be on the terminal in the Odessen base so I could have Vector on every single one, lol.
  4. ^^ This. The entire way it's handled as a Discord meeting excludes many people when considering logisitics alone. Add to the fact that it's not widely advertised and I'd bet that the vast majority of GMs were not aware it was even happening.
  5. I'm gonna throw my support behind this. I'd definitely consider buying them if I could aim for a specific type of decoration. As it is now it's just not worth it to get them.
  6. I wish we could choose too! I was actually just thinking about this the other day. I'd like to be able to only have the comps I actually run with and like on my ship after the Alliance is formed.
  7. I would make a suggestion to this group that if they truly wish to present an organized voice for guild QoL and GMs they should open a transparent thread in the appropriate forum section with a title stating their name and intent, encouraging GMs to participate in an open discussion on guild concerns. As it is, this is just a post in the suggestion forum that presents their own ideas as though they were discussed and decided by some kind of majority.
  8. You know, I've seen more visitors of late as well. I was playing with a friend last night and we were on Skype. We were in my SH between running stuff and suddenly my friend was like "What the hell?! Who is that?!" She didn't realize the stronghold was public. It had a visitor and startled her. What server are you on? I play on Star Forge. If we're on the same server I'll have to come take a look at your strongholds.
  9. I'm a GM of a small guild. We have a dozen members with numerous alts but only about three active players. I absolutely do NOT agree with the idea of taking encryptions from conquest. The three of us that are active players work hard every week to get multiple toons to conquest and guilds on both Pub and Imp. We craft dark projects as well. It is still a goal that will take us quite some time. The tone of this post really reads like our efforts are meaningless and undeserving of encryptions because what, we're not competitors in conquest? Conquest is finally attainable, and attainable by doing the activities my guild members enjoy. SWTOR is a game, meant for fun, it is not a job and making conquest a nightmare grind takes all of the fun out of playing.
  10. I recently changed a character's name with a voucher in-game and didn't have an issue going that route. I'm sorry to hear so many are having problems now.
  11. I have found ways to hide decos behind things so that the stronghold is completed, but not cluttered. I can't stand having my strongholds cluttered, lol. I only have one public right now because it's the only one I'm wholly satisfied with, lol. I also like to mash the various trophies together to create interesting wall art. It uses up several hooks and gives the place something unique without making it look cluttered. Trophies also get hidden behind banners and such to fill deco hooks. My agent is stealthy in heer decorating, lol.
  12. I believe, as has been suggested multiple times on the forum, that the sub rewards should be based upon time subbed rather than dates subbed. It's a better showing of customer appreciation than specific dates. It also encourages consistent and repeated subbing over just buying a 3 month subscription to get the shiny. Personally, I couldn't care less if other players have things I have. It's not like the devs reach into my game and take my sub reward to give to someone else. I see other players with HK, Shae, or whatever reward and don't even for a second wonder if they got it the first round or the second. In fact, I don't even think about it at all. I'm playing the game and it doesn't impact my game in any way.
  13. Which is so weird. I find my marksmanship sniper is a bit of a beast in many situations. I don't really PvP though, so maybe that's why. Personally, it's my favorite spec to play.
  14. Agreed, and I like a lot of the ideas in here. I have voiced to my guildies how I wished there was a way to leave comments on a nice SH. I put a lot of time an effort into my strongholds but they're never in the top three prestige rankings so I rarely see people in them. In fairness, only one is public atm, but once athers are complete I plan on opening them as well.
  15. I was running into all of those issues except for problems with the launcher. (knock on wood) They seem to have stopped this week though.(again, knock on wood) In general, Star Forge felt like it was running a little wonky last week. At least, it felt that way to me. It would be fine for an hour and then all the sudden weirdness. So far, so good this week.
  16. My main is a marksmanship sniper. Love playing her in all content. I just rolled an operative for heals. I'm enjoying that more than a sorc healer thus far. It feels more intuitive to me for some reason. I tend to do well with agents in general. It's likely just a personal bias because that was the first class story I finished and remains my favorite after completing them all.
  17. I rp write him for a friend who romanced him. The story was pretty involved. I tend to go down a deep rabbit hole when I get creative. I'm biased, of course, but it was a far more engaging plot, lol. Granted, I'm also incredibly mean to any character I write. Theron had a rough time.
  18. Gld to see that it got betteer, though I will say that I've been seeing some odd little things here and there. The other night I had weird combat lag issues, then yesterday the mail was being weird and didn't want to load my messages, a friend says she can't send mail at all, and then there have been other odd little things. Nothing big and I can't remember what everything was, but I do think there's something going on. It's just been a little quirky lately.
  19. I ran into this exact same issue the other day. I'd been playing for an hour or so and then it got painfully laggy in combat. I'm running on a barely month old gaming laptop, and I bought a new router around the same time. I had issues for a night and then everything was fine. Ooof but that night was rough. I eventually just gave up for the evening and watched Netflix, lol.
  20. While I'm a fan of the classic waffles and syrup with a side of bacon build, I've recently discovered that there are benefits to playing around with the underappreciated crepes. In fairness, I have some home-grown strawberries tacticals that combine nicely with crepes and whipped cream augments, and a little chocolate syrup for that extra push. The combo isn't as hefty as some of the other builds suggested here, but in the right situations it handles things nicely.
  21. Weirdly, and this may just be a coincidence, but I've got a few toons who are running through vanilla story stuff and the coins seem to drop more frequently for them.
  22. The activity itself could be fun for some, but it should simply be a pvp map for guilds to engage in a specific battle, with points equal to any other pvp objective. Maybe call it a skirmish and it's a once per conquest, per guild thing. However, having conquest hinge on who wins a massive pvp battle would basically gate out any smaller guilds, any non-pvp guilds, and a lot of players in bigger guilds who don't enjoy pvp.
  23. Lol, Theron will always get a pass from me. I really hate the whole traitor story line though. I rewrote it in my brain. Theron was kidnapped and cloned, and it was the clone that did everything, lol. It was far more involved than that, but I have a lot more fun with that part of the game when I pretend it was a clone, lol.
  24. You know, I've been pretty tepid on this idea, but I recently played Anarchy in Paradise again and took some time to look the apartment over. I think I could get behind this now. I would want a few adjustments made. I'd want a balcony, and to have some of the side rooms divided by walls with doors that open and close like the older strongholds, but yeah, I could do some fun stuff with something like that.
