  1. Super short patch notes are up. http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes/1142015/patch-notes-4.0.1a
  2. I hope this doesn't happen. I am very annoyed by the PVP quest but I can manage it if there's no way I can avoid it, but GSF gives me motion sickness and I would never be able to do it.
  3. Old ultimate gear doesn't seem to exist anymore. I really wish they would add it, that's the best models this game ever had.
  4. I'm mostly hoping they include the Oriconian gear into those aliance lockboxes. It's missing, but it's the biggest incentive I had to actually do the heroics. Old basic and elite gear is good, but old ultimate gear is currently nowhere to be found and it was the best looking.
  5. We can now get legacy bound shells from the alliance crates. What about the old shells? If there's any way to make those legacy bound, since they're no longer obtainable, I'm certain a lot of people would be very happy, especially considering that the alliance crates don't seem to drop the old ultimate gear (oriconian and deciever items) and that seems to be completely gone from the game now other than the shells people kept in storage. We worked for them, we bought them - please make them useful.
  6. I've probably opened about 100 alliance crates and so has the friend I play with but so far, there hasn't been a single drop of oriconian or deciever gear (ex ultimate gear). Is this obtainable some other way or is it no longer possible to get it? This was the whole reason why I went ahead and did so much content, because we were told old comms gear would be obtainable this way. Please explain, devs? Has anyone else seen an oriconian piece of gear drop?
  7. It's on cartel market items too, for example, the Euphoric Corellian set. The preview looks different than the ingame graphic. I paid for that set with real money because of how it looked in the preview, I bought hypercrates with cartel coins. Bioware, please fix this model.
  8. I have been doing heroics like crazy and opening boxes. I got dreadguard, arcanian, underworld, yavin, ressurrected pieces.... but not a single oriconian one. Has anyone seen any oriconian gear drop at all? Or deceiver?
  9. I've seen this on several similar models before, but after this one, I really feel the big backside issue should be looked at. Screenshot for comparison: http://shrani.si/f/2m/Wy/4qqVrGop/meshbug.jpg Outlander Mender / Targeter MK-4 has a preview of a very nicely shaped back. However, upon equiping the item, it looks nothing like the preview! In fact, it looks like my character just pulled a Kim Kardashian and it's rather disturbing. It's already difficult enough to find nice elegant clothing for RPers, but to have one look amazing in the preview and then downright silly in actual wear... can this be looked at, please? I've checked several other armor models (including cartel market items) that use this same backside cloth thing and they all seem to have a very big graphic/mesh issue. It would be amazing if this could be fixed, please.
  10. This game is the rare thing I do afford and pay for, because it's my time off to play it. I expressed my opinion about the prices and I appreciate the fact that you do not agree with me. I still think that as a regular player, I believe I should at least be able to access content (even if it's vanity) for a reasonable amount of time put into the game. This isn't about doing content that I'm not qualified to do, it's simply not interesting or challenging to have to do the Gree heroic 100 times to get a third of the needed tokens for one set of clothing out of the two needed for the achievment. Those items were not that expensive when they first came out and if they brought them back for their original prices, I wouldn't say a word about it. But a single outfit that costs 300 tokens (at least a third of which is nearly unobtainable due to the quest rewards being very scarce) seems like it was put into the game by someone who doesn't realize how much time and effort this takes. So I would really appreciate if you stop putting me down for expressing my feelings about this issue. Everyone wants to be rich - some of us simply aren't. At least in this game, I would like to be able to achieve something nice in a reasonable amount of time. Again, I didn't ask for items to be -free-. Just that they would be accessible to people who have invested into this game but can't play it 24/7 during event times.
  11. I'm not saying to make it -free-. I'm just saying that I've been in this game for three years and I actually play -a lot- whenever I have free time and I work hard for it and I haven't got enough tokens to afford those items. I'm not saying I don't want to do the quests, I'm saying that this is just unrealistic, even for the people who have all day at home and can farm and join groups. Some of us -do- work for items but still have an extremely difficult time gathering such large quantities. I'm not looking for a sports car either, I'm looking for vanity items in a game that I'm actually -paying- to play. Are you saying I should quit my job so I can get items? Or that I should quit the game because I can only play two hours a day? Or that I don't deserve the rewards because I'm not grinding day and night? I know there'll be a ton of people here saying 'you're lazy'. I'm not. Calculate how much time and effort it takes to get these items and how much time I have as a single mother working two jobs. I'd still like to see some result for the effort I put into the game that I'm paying for monthly to play.
  12. I absolutely love you for putting them there, especially the vendor with the armor needed for that achievment. But the prices? o_o Why are they so high? The amount of tokens for each event that we get with doing the event dailies is severely low and those prices will only be affordable by the people who farm those event dailies on multiple characters. You get some more tokens for doing ops, but not all of our alts are ops ready. I have a job and a family, does that mean I will be able to afford -one- piece of that old armor for the Sharp Dresser achievment in.... 2 years?
  13. Ilum dailies are gone also! The heroic can still be done, but not the dailies. What's going on? We were never notified of this! Is it a bug?
  14. As a RPer, I like to be able to go to lower level planets and NOT aggro every single mob in the area. I like to be able to go to locations and RP without the need to fight every two minutes when mobs respawn around me. That would break immersion really bad and exploration would be a lot less pleasurable. Some of us hang out in this game, not just go mob killing all the time, so having the option to do one or the other is important to us. My high level and the ability to oneshot low-level mobs or to not even aggro them is the reward that I worked hard to get - the gear I could get from mobs (which apparently isn't going to be my level) is not a replacement reward once I have endgame gear. I also won't get XP, all that will happen is that this will make lower level planets unRPable so people will have fewer places to RP in peace. Please, don't take away my levels, I've worked hard for them! If I want to do lower level content and get rewards good for my level, I will make a new toon and actually level up, not take an old toon back to a planet! If I just want to do the story, I'd rather do it with a toon that can avoid mobs or insta kill them so that I can actually focus on the story. PLEASE, MAKE IT OPTIONAL!
  15. I wonder if it's possible to hide your legendary status. It would be nice if it were like the legacy last name, since I'm not sure I like my name standing out like that.
  16. No, this isn't making content relevant again. This is making it possible for a person to farm the same quest over and over again without ever needing to try out any single other thing in order to get levels and gear appropriate to your level. You never have to leave the starter planets again! It's all just rinse and repeat. Like a robot. You said story matters? Not anymore, apparently. I used to redo old content just BECAUSE I could faceroll the mobs and then I could actually follow the story because it didn't take me forever to get from one point to the other. I've played this entire game with over 20 characters (majority before the 12xp) - going back to low level planets and being able to solo content such as world bosses and heroics was the best thing ever because I felt rewarded for my efforts of playing all those months. I could come over and help my sister kill big bosses and she was always overjoyed and didn't care for the XP loss and it made her want to level because being a higher level meant being stronger! Now, I'm going to be punished for being a higher level by having all my hard work taken away from me? I guess I'm not forced to go back to planets - unless someone asks me for help or I actually want achievments. But then I'll have to find 20 people to help me kill the Kaas world boss when I'm level 65. At level 65, Leveling just loses all charm. So you have 'relevant' gear (which will likely only be green and blue on planets anyway) so what, it won't help you - because you're getting gowngraded. How can I RP that my character is having a picnic in the Alderaan forest with a friend if we keep getting attacked by mobs that are half our level and need to interrupt all RP activity in order to fight them? If we wish to RP getting attacked, we could still do that - but now we won't have a choice because our level will be taken away from us. This really makes most great RP areas completely unRPable now. I thought this was a MMORPG? This isn't making content more fun or more new. It's just making it more frustrating to do for those of us who are actually in it for the story. If I wanted to do content at a level it was meant for, I'd make a new toon, not bring back an old one.

  19. I would also support the option to sell your flagship back to the vendor for the 50 mil credits in case you'd want that. That way, you'd have something to start with on the new server.
  20. Don't get so worked up. As I said, it's a gamble. Just because I mentioned I was unlucky doesn't mean I'm complaining. I'm just saying that sometimes, even with excellent odds, you can get an item that isn't worth anything (and by worth, I mean an item that doesn't sell for a lot of credits - which it would if it were actually that rare, since people would be buying them to complete their collection sets).
  21. Yes, this will look like a whiney post at first - if you don't want to read my list, please skip ahead to the last paragraph as that is actually my point and I would be very grateful to see it answered. I'm really wondering who actually -asks- to have nice things taken away. There have been a ton of things that got a positive reaction from the community and yet, they were changed based on the feedback of a very select few. Let's make a list of the cute things that happened in the past year: The freshest is probably the Energized Triumvirate Armor which had the amazing ability to make us all feel electrified no matter what outfit we wore over it. An incredibly useful, beautiful feature for RPers. 'Fixed'. Why would anyone want to have that cool effect, please? I bought a Selkath console decoration because it was amazing. I could push it to the wall on the large hook and it was beautiful. But then they 'fixed' it and centered it on the hook so now, it will always leave a huge gap in the back of the console no matter where I put it - which ICly looks like I'm a derp decorator. Why would you make that kind of change? You think I needed a place to walk behind the big computer? The hooks are very limiting as is, with 10 (and let's be honest, the thing constantly jumps to 9) being the top number of tiny moves which makes several items terribly awkward in placing. The changes in the number of hooks are either too high or too low, but I really wonder who the devs listened to to actually finally change something - and then change it again. The hair that we can literally preview on other species but is still exclusive to humans? Why not give us the hair we bought on other species? We can see in the Appearance preview that it's not only possible but the system is already in place and working, we just can't click the 'change' button. If you don't want us to have long hair on our green aliens, why would you tease us with it and make our hearts jump excitedly only to find out it doesn't work? The headband that hides the hood - the Republic has it, the Empire doesn't. Can you please just take one of the several same model circlets and give it the option to hide a hood. I'm certain that about 90% of the players will be grateful to be able to wear their favourite outfit with the option to change if their hair is shown or not. It's already in the game and so many people came up to say it, but this tiny thing has never been done. A covert headgear that hides the hood would be a gift given by the gods of gaming. And yet it's been years without it ever reaching the Devs. Items that are now impossible to get in game but are still there in the achievments chart. Wait, I joined later, I'm trying to get achievments, but the armor I'm looking for no longer exists? I can't play the game I'm paying to play? That would need a look at - I've seen several topics on the subject. But no change even after years of them being out there. The constant changes to classes that made it near impossible to play a few classes effectively - why is there a 1k difference between the DPS a marauder and a juggernaut can do in the same gear (and I'm observing the difference by watching players who made the effort to study class, gearing and rotations)? Apparently it's PVP friendly, just like the Sage bubble, because it makes sense that some classes have two healthbars and complete immunity while others... well, don't. Do the Devs actually ever look at parsing charts for PVE and try and balance that? And I'm sure everyone still remembers the beauty that was the Contraband slot machine. Such a great idea, not only to get reputation and cartel certificates for those who don't have the RL money to spend in buckets, but also to get jawa scrap and get more people interested in crafting, which is, due to the nature of click and wait, one of the most boring and stressing parts of the game. "Works as intended". And yet, a week later, nerfed down into the floor because it "hurt the economy"? What economy? The one that a very select few people set up in order to leech credits from other players? Because people wouldn't do crew skills anymore? Of course they would do them - if they were enjoyable to do. And for the achievments, if nothing else. This wouldn't have even been so upsetting if we didn't get told that it works as intended which provoked several players to spend real money on an item that was supposed to stay the way it was but then got changed drastically. I could probably go on with the list, but I'm not really here to whine. My question in: Who do the Devs listen to? How can I get my own opinion to them? How can any average player make a difference? Is it even possible? Is it worth trying? I've sent in tickets several times and only got back an automated response. Do they even go through? And if not, what channel can I use to apply to the Devs? Because I think some of their work was amazing and I'm really wondering why they keep changing it and if the large majority of people who actually enjoy the game they give us can have a say in the changes that are being made - or to prevent them from being made.
  22. Even if that "super rare" item are Rugged infantry bracers which seem to have been so "super rare" that there's 5 pages on the GTN of them constantly and they go for only about 5k. Yes. Super rare. It's a gamble and that means even on the highest possible stakes, you can lose. Twice the same way, if you're as lucky as I am. Platinum packs. Sure. Still a gamble.
  23. A /liedown and /dead and a more neutral /sit on the floor (for women, especially, since the mini skirts reveal way too much when they try sitting with /sit). It would also be nice to be able to /hug or /kiss and have it be animated, or at least use /kiss without the addition of "blows a kiss". A wall /lean would also be cool, as someone previously mentioned and also posted a pic, and maybe just a simple /crossarms.
