  1. You will always get Fleet Commendations. Just finish the objective and afk rest of the way. ADD: As for Drexel Sweep. Fire at long range, but once they are getting close shift power to your shields, do not use your blaster at all, spam rockets and send an EMP out. Also time the equipment which makes your ship invulnerable for a few seconds carefully.
  2. This will be excellent. It will make servers with population imbalance (i.e. every server) so much better. Republic players should especially rejoice.
  3. That actually makes a lot of sense. This way it cannot be used in Warzones or create a PvP advantage for players with the rocket boost. I'm glad I didn't buy it.
  4. In terms of difficulty: Marauder > Jugg Tank > Jugg DPS Annihilation Marauder is the most difficult one, but it's also the most powerful spec for both PvE and PvP. Carnage is also decent in PvE, but is fragile like glass in PvP. Rage should only be played for fun.
  5. My Commando is... uh... yeah. My Annihilation Marauder has two interrupts (6s cd and 12s cd) and throws out crazy damage. However I don't have a proper CC unlike Commandos.

  8. I feel that may not be intended, or at least it will be changed in the future. For Sith Marauders, we can use all our abilities perfectly fine wielding dual Vibroswords, and they look absolutely awesome.
  9. It depends on the enemy really. If they clearly are keyboard turning etc, then by all means I shall take the advantage and circle them. I wouldn't bother doing it against skilled players.
  10. Heh, no. Only people who have never played Marauder or only played Marauder can say that. What you say is completely delusional. Anyone who played another class then Mara/Sent would immediately realise just how much more complex the class is. My first character was a Commando, and that class was a lot less challenging than the Mara I'm playing now.
  11. You are comparing leveling to endgame. Should Deadmines/Ragefire Chasm, the first instances for most new players, be as difficult as Deathwing? Figure that out yourself.

  13. Sentinel is a MUCH harder class, has higher damage output, but is less sought after than a gunslinger. Smugglers in general are exceptionally rare, and I imagine nearly any group would want to have you if for nothing else but the buff and less loot competition.
  14. Aside from people who can't be bothered finding a group, that's a major reason. For some classes ALL 2+ heroics are easily soloable, and most 4-man Heroics are soloable as well. Back when I leveled up my Commando Medic I didn't bother finding groups for Heroics, I just soloed them. Uber healing + heavy armour + a flawless CC makes killing a group of elites pretty easy.

  16. Empire classes are the mirrors of Republic classes. Blaming on the class is as wrong as it can get. It's simply that those players you went up against have superior skills and/or gear.
  17. The only issue I have is that Sentinels use burn as DOT, while Marauders use bleed as DOT, the latter doesn't make any sense with lightsabers. And so now I roll with vibroswords.

  20. Your harddrive is what's bottle-necking your loading speed. Only by getting a SSD will loading speed further improve. When I was in beta I realised that loading speed was going to be a problem (reasonably so considering how massive each planet is), and so I got a SSD.
  21. People complain most about Annihilation Marauders, which were nerfed in 1.2. Clearly the nerf made us stronger, so we should receive an additional nerf. Will that nerf make us even stronger then? Fine logic.
  22. For Marauder at least, you will need to use around 5-7 skills for your single target primary rotation depending on spec. Then there are also a lot of other situational skills which you may only use once per combat or from time to time, but nonetheless important and should have keybinds (e.g. Charge, Disruption, AoE etc). There is a lot of abilities, and nearly all of them are useful. Currently I'm binding 1 2 3 4, Q, E, R, F, X, C, V, T plus an entire set of those keys + modifier. Although only a few of those skills make up my primary rotation, all of those skills are frequently as situation changes. Those two bars only have my combat abilities. Non-combat abilities like mount, lightsaber stance, buff or out of combat heal are on side bars. Nonetheless some of those are bound anyway.
