  1. Harbinger was nicely populated. Still couldnt find a flashpoint when you needed one.....but it was populated. PVP queues were really quick.
  2. I enjoyed the cut-scenes, and the mission briefings. They were well done, and the voice acting was really good........the first time through. After that i spaced like crazy.
  3. Did that.....twice. Changed nothing. Still had a very hard time even on Harbinger which is is the top 3 populated servers. All you end up with is a more populated server where people dont do flashpoints.
  4. I rerolled twice already. The first time to Zekkeg Beast which at the time was Heavy pop with a slight queue. Well a month went by and it fell into low to standard pop. So I said screw it and rerolled on Harbinger. The server is pretty well populated but it is still almost impossible to find a flashpoint group. I actually ended up unsubbing last night because of the frustration. I dont think a LFG tool is going to fix anything. People have made it clear that they dont want to do flashpoints or just group in general. Sad to say the game is a lost cause in my opinion.
  5. So out of curiosity mostly, I decided to visit the Tera website. I admit I dont know anything about that game. I decided to look at the server status page. I noticed one important thing.......SERVER TRANSFERS!!! TERA has server transfers while mr. high and mighty SWTOR does not. What is wrong with this picture? Thats it I'm done with this game. And yes you can have my stuff. I really doubt I will be back. Dont know where Im going. Perhaps Diablo, GW2, .....maybe Tera. Just anywhere but this mess.
  6. Yep I agree also. Most MMO's these days are being advertised as "Whats your adventure" or "Whats your story". The answer to this is, "my story is the exact same set path as everyone else, because I don't have a choice". I hate how games have to hold your hands and show you where to go these days. I miss the days where you just spawn the first time, and think to yourself " ok, I guess Ill just head this direction to see what I can find". I miss games like the old original Tomb Raider where you just walk into a cave and discovered things on your own. Now almost all games have some kind of helper system where you have some kind of buddy who tells you what you need to do in a headset or something. Where is the fun in that?
  7. My main reasons for leaving .... 1) Re-rolled twice due to servers dying. 2) Cant find groups to do flashpoints or heroics 3) PVP is mind shatteringly bad 4) Kill these three guys who just stand there......now kill these three guys who just stand there.....hey here are three more guys who just stand there, I guess I need to kill them. 5) In my opinion companions are a huge mistake. I hated having to rely on a AI controlled companion to play with. (If they die, chances are you are going down too) 6) WAY too instanced
  8. Well I rerolled .....TWICE! Each time to what at the time was a heavy pop server. The last reroll was to the Harbinger server. Guess what....still cannot get a group for flashpoints. There are over 100 people in the fleet when Im writing this. I tried the LFG tool that Bioware provides, and I was one of three that had the feature turned on. I tried spamming LFG to find other players.....nothing. I REFUSE TO REROLL AGAIN! Is a dungeon finder actually going to work at this point? Its pretty obvious that nobody wants to do flashpoints. Its pretty sad actually, because its my favorite part of the game. I had such high hopes for this game. Ive been a forum member since 08, and followed the entire development cycle. I beta tested like a lot of you did. I just cant at this point find myself caring about TOR. I keep forcing myself to log in and play but I end up thinking "whats the point"?
  9. I agree totally. Not being able to choose your warzone is a major problem. I HATE Huttball with a white hot passion of a thousand suns. Therefore I don't queue for warzones. That and the combat is so UN-balenced that its sad.
  10. I have tried both classes up to Chapter 2. I have to say I enjoy the Sniper MUCH more than the Operative. That is just my opinion though. A lot of people like the Operative because they can stealth, which is nice. What I like about the sniper is just the sheer awesome feeling of taking careful aim and BLAM!!!! the target is either dead, or near death. Pick what you think is more fun, not what would be easiest.
  11. I would like to think of the agent as being like Captain/Admiral Piett from Empire, before he was Captain. I imagine him as being this cold calculated agent in his youth who was behind the scenes twisting arms and doing the Empire's dirty work. He then was promoted to Captain aboard Vader's Star Destroyer. Thats just my opinion though. Wow. I just made Piett sound kinda cool.
  12. Oh man if they could get X-Wing, or TIE Fighter type missions and multiplayer, it would be EPIC. I remember how cool it was to have to manage your shields to front or rear, and how that effected your blaster potency. How great would it be to launch a space mission and use a gamepad to control your ship just like TIE Fighter?
  13. cool. thanks for the reply. I wasnt sure if you got rewards from the old missions or not.
  14. So should I be doing the grey difficulty space combat missions? I know they give no experience, but is there any benefit of doing them? Would I get fleet commendations? I need the extra comms to get the better reward gear. Drexel Sweep is whoopin my butt. The only non grey mission I have now is Drexel Sweep, and I for some reason cannot get past the onslaught right after you get past the large imperial cruiser. I go from full health to basically nothing, and then fail. I have all the current upgrades (level 5) but just cant seem to get past it.
  15. My longest load times seem to be when I am exiting a warzone, and a planet is loading. Ive seen it take up to 3 or 4 minutes before. My computer is about 5 years old now though. Not sure if that makes load times longer.
