The Alliance isn't dead or gone, it's only very weakened in that its more a group of elite mercenaries led by a Warlord rather than an Empire led by an Emperor/Empress now. Odessan is still the Commanders citadel and they still have a formidable following even after the mass desertion. This going back to the Republic/Empire is just how Lana phrased it "Support". The alliance will support these two entities with their resources and perhaps become an even stronger power in the Galaxy.

^ Moi included. I've committed many atrocities, war crimes and killed dissenters without blinking an eye, but that... I just couldn't do it. I wanted so bad for him to just be trying to switch back at the last minute because he didn't see Zildrog lasting. But in the end, Logic ruled out. Fact of the matter was that Theron had saved my life and quite frankly the galaxy from a terrible weapon of mass destruction getting loose. For that, I couldn't kill him because his actions were out of loyal to me, his master. I can respect that. Now I'm not so sure I'll ever kill him as I feel indebted. That and I really don't want all powerful mama bear coming down on me because I let her cub die.

My Dark Consular only got the Letter from Shan and Zakuul. Still fuming over that Zakuul letter. Who are those peasants to secede on their own? I should bring my army crashing down like a tidal wave on their heads! Oh wait

Personally as a full DS character I had planned to execute every traitor and their cohorts. I took my time meticulously making sure to kill ever single mob and hidden boss to let them know just how dire a betrayal to the alliance is. Then it came time to deal with the traitors. Vinn summarily had his head taken for my trophy room and Theron... as much as I tried to kill him... when I saw those sad eyes and him meekly calling out 'commander wait'... I just couldn't. Didn't feel right. I exited and pulled him out of there. If he hadn't went deep cover, we would have been in a galaxy of trouble. For that I pardon the fool for his overall loyalty and helping to avert a major disaster.

That was the most beautiful ending I've ever seen.

10/10 Two different things. They weren't just prosecuting run of the mill hackers, they were prosecuting people making a business enterprise selling hacks for their property.

Just because you don't like the consequences of your actions doesn't make the choice itself poor. If one chooses to kill their companion knowing full well that they would be relegated to relying on other players for the truly strenuous content then that was just the fruits of their foolishness. They should've had to live with it. Just like those who chose romance over obeying the Jedi code should've had to live with the consequence of not becoming a master due to it.

I don't think there was an issue at all. I think this 'delay' was to secure another month of subs since it was supposed to be released toward the end of this month.

ikr? I don't know why something to remind the player they're in a romance wasn't implemented in vanilla. DA was great because even when the main romance line had ended, you could always go back to your partner and engage in romantic dialogue among other things.

That's not a bad idea I'll get on it today.

I can't believe all these years later they didn't institute these great Ideas and again let our romances stagnate and decay once they had the ability to die or face exile. The romances can not continue to just be shoved to the back shelf like they don't exist when it's not convenient for the story. We need these ideas Bioware! We need to see mails and some type of affection outside the dead dolls that run around after us.

What is so great about losing more variety and resources?
