  1. You are not alone, I agree. I would love to see more content based there.
  2. I have two instant lvl 60s and disabling it worked straight away for me, so it may have been bugging out for you.
  3. Agreed, it's a non-issue. It is only for the alliance system, NOT the main story missions.
  4. I'm guessing when you started the first KoTFE mission you clicked the check mark asking if you wanted to do the tutorial? If so, hit esc and click disable tutorial. All your skills will return.
  5. Just your mastery, power, and endurance. All your tertiary stats are not affected. So as a healer your high alacrity + crit will still make you a better healer, likewise with tanks and their absorb, def, etc, and DPS with accuracy, crit and alacrity. All those stats are unaffected by level sync, so no you should not have the same stats regardless of what you are playing.
  6. You can still use them as companions. I'm not talking about the 4 alliance contacts, but all the followers you get from the Resistance missions and former class companions.
  7. You get as many followers as you want, as offered anyway. So far I have like 20 + 2 in the works. All of which are summon-able.
  8. It looks nothing like Nico's jacket from the cinematic. I am very disappointed in it, now it just sits in my mailbox on all my characters.
  9. All these threads and I still see NO legitimate downside to level-sync. It's always, "why can't I be a god anymore?" or "now my farming routine won't work anymore!" . The benefits are numerous however, you can never out-level content now, you can group with lowbies without trivializing their content and XP gain and it opens up the possibility for the devs do use older planets for newer missions (already being utilized with the alliance system). Please, I challenge someone to give me a real downside that outweighs those benefits.
  10. You should be able to if your haven't reached 61 yet. But it is not guaranteed.
  11. I like that I can actually play a healer with a dps comp and have a good time. Before 4.0 it was a miserable experience, so I would just respec to dps for solo stuff.
  12. It is very close. On the rarer items it will most likely be more expensive then harbinger because of a slightly lower population. But it is probably negligible. Augments and kits are inflated right now because of 4.0, but before that they were comparable.
  13. Census most definitely does not agree, since no census has been done. Personally, I love the expansion and so does the 99% of people I see in Gen chat.
  14. I transferred from Harbinger to Shadowlands, and couldn't be happier. PUGS forming all the time and people are usually nice.
  15. I don't know what being an introvert has to do with it. I am one and I'm considered pretty positive. Being an introvert just means you are more stressed out around people and need to take a breather occasionally.
  16. I love level sync. Now I can group with lower levels for stuff and not take away XP from them and render their experience trivial. I also love being able to do all the heroics quickly, good credits doing that as well.
  17. More Ops are coming, so people saying they are getting rid of all the MMO elements are wrong. We're just going to have to wait until next year. And the beauty of it now is, none of the current or past Ops will become obsolete when new ones are released. We definitely could use a few more pvp maps though, but I have a feeling Battlefront will scratch that itch for many Star Wars pvpers. This is the first expansion with a truly great story, considering this is supposed to be a Story-centric MMORPG, that is a very good thing.
  18. Yeah I just finished doing a bunch of heroics on Belsavis and my comp and I were close to dying a few times. She has 85k health was set to heals, I've got 72k and was dpsing. Those higher level heroics have a lot of elites.
  19. The heroic mission are intended to be solo'd now. Even the Star Fortress heroic says it's ok to solo if you are geared enough.
  20. Yeah I agree. The way to fix this without nerfing companions would be to up the damage of enemies slightly, and up the damage of enemy aoe and interruptible attacks by a lot. There needs to be an incentive to get out of that circle.
  21. They've already said that more operations are coming. For now, if you want some MMO content start doing the Alliance stuff. You can group for the Star Fortress heroics and for world bosses, and do PVP for alliance stuff. To answer your question, this is exactly what I wanted. I wish SWTOR had this quality and these QoL features to begin with. I love it.
  22. I would also prefer they don't nerf companions. But they do need to up the damage from most enemies slightly to counteract this, mainly in the KoTFE chapters. But please, do not add more HP to enemies, that will just make it more tedious.
  23. No problem. I found after the tutorial, your abilities go back to the exact spot they were before you started. And to add to the companion stuff, the only thing gear does for your companions is change their appearance.
  24. You don't have to respec your characters, just reapply your utilities. Your quickbars shouldn't have changed, you may have seen your abilities disappear temporarily if you clicked the check when it asked if you wanted to do the tutorial upon starting the KotFE chapter 1 quest. Your companions don't need to be geared, ever. Influence determines how powerful your companions are and is increased by giving them gifts. Those gifts are very easily obtained after chapter 9. Edit: Also choosing a dialogue option your companion disapproves of doesn't affect your influence. I hope that helps.
  25. They definitely need to tweak the tactical FPs. Pugs can't get to far in those without heals. Not to mention the fact that it doesn't help encourage people to be healers and tanks.
