  1. Considering if the Imperial and Republic turned on the Sith and Jedi, the Orders would be wiped out. I know they're not gods. In fact, I believe Palpatine doesn't deserve half the powers given to him in the novels. I'm simply stating in that particular scenario, the agent, should have been wiped out in that encounter. Every NPC in this game (black ops, SIS, Imperial Intelligence, Hutt Cartel, White Nova, military), that says they are trained to fight Jedi/Sith, dies. Basically any highly trained fighter dies against a competent force user. They can definitely do something against the average force user, but every dirty trick is going to be needed to help against one with higher skill. That being said, the agent wasn't some all mighty bad *** when they encounter Jadus. Hell, the trap wasn't even planned out well. It was literally: go toe to toe with the poster child of the Sith and hope you survive long enough to spring the trap.
  2. But he could win against cloud cakes. Being knock offs are something they have in common!
  3. Let's put it this way: if Jadus saw the agent, without even flinching, he could choke the agent to death, send them into madness, crush their mind, force fling them against a wall until they died or tossed his lightsaber at them. Jadus could have done all of this. But because of the story, agent clearly had to win and Jadus had to just run in a merry-go-round to chase the Agent down. Maybe Jadus can't use force speed on Thursdays.
  4. Here's the problem with comparing these two: Emperors are usually inquisitors. And if we look at the iconic Emperor, his force prowess is vast enough to enhance whatever saber form into a mastery. The ingame description even states that very few can become an Inquisitor and that they are on par, if not better, than their warrior counterparts in saber techniques. With that being said, with sole description, it's not wise to travel down this road, in fear of God moding another figure, for no particularly good reason (looking at you, Palpatine fanclub). It doesn't matter how much the Wrath exerts their martial skill, because through the force, Nox will match every strike. The Wrath can also force enhance their saber technique, but never as good as Inquisitor. Likewise, Nox will be fighting the equivalence to a Lord of Hate. Nox would have to be on the defensive. These two, would fight and fight until one of them flees or makes a rookie/cocky mistake. You're asking if an immovable object can halt an unstoppable force. It's just going to drag on . ... now if the Wrath manages to cut off Nox from the Force: game over
  5. I'm going to say Agent, Smuggler, Trooper & Bounty Hunter don't stand a chance in hell against their force user counterparts. The agent winning against Jadus was pure B's. Valkorian mentions Jadus was the perfect Sith. And if Jadus is so easily dispatched by a single, one vs. one, nonforce user, then really the entire Sith Order is pathetically weak. Chalk it up to story telling, because them overcoming very impossible odds is more interesting than dying horribly.
  6. I'd like them back to. It made the quests somewhat more interesting. I always felt after Shadows of Revan, it was just an excuse to water down content for those that have no idea what a spacebar is.
  7. No offense, by wipe number 4, one of you should have stopped and thought about what mechanics are being done wrong.
  8. This is probably the dumbest thing I've heard. I'm sorry but the only people that say this, would be the ones that wipe on story mode ops. 4 DPS can easily go through tacticals. It isn't a problem. Your average player? Yeah, you might have a point because most players are just god awful (group finder). The only crippling knowledge I see here is the inability to use cc when needed as a 4 man dps.
  9. No, I'm pretty sure they're setting you up to be the Emperor of all the free galaxy. "Hey! Let's give you the Eternal Fleet! The single most destructive force in the galaxy!" It's a classic case of building the player up to be the All Mighty. And honestly... It is boring to be put on a pedestal. I think the story is decent, but in no way is it fantastic.
  10. What I think will happen? Your character super defeats Arcann and takes over the Eternal Fleet. Then in season 2, you easily defeat the Republic and Empire and become Emperor of the free galaxy because Bioware believes everyone must be super powerful! ... It's what they keep hinting at. "Your destiny is to become super special!"
  11. This is by far, my favorite fan fiction. I've read dozens of them and, despite a few issues I take with the story, I can't think of one fan fiction that holds a candle to this one yet. Thank you for keeping me entertained through my breaks at work. Keep up the good work!
  12. This game can run on a potato. Your specs will be fine. If you end up buying any new computer, it'll run.
  13. As a Sorc Healer, here's my thought on these HM's: USE CC! Your carebear mode aka trashmode aka "tactical" mode taught you absolutely nothing about the FP. USE CC. Stop BREAKING CC. And ffs dps, (yes, Dps, you are almost 70% of the time the problem), focus the damn tank's target. There's one tank role. Not three. No, you will never get priority healing over the tank. End of story. "But you're supposed to heal us through the damage!" A healer with half or more 192's will not be able to heal you if: you stand in **** you're not supposed to, pretend to be a tank if you're not, heal 8-12k dps damage across the board because you thought it was a smart idea to break CC or jump into a group without any CC. These... are hard modes... In reality, they're normal modes. Use tactics. Use a bit of strategy and maybe... just maybe these will be a breeze to get through as... they already are.
  14. So... you're saying turning everything into "Tactical" mode? Well, firstly, stop calling it tactical mode. There's nothing tactical about it and is so brain dead easy that I'm sure the participants enjoying, such as yourself, haven't a clue what the definition of tactics is. Secondly, there is ZERO challenge in this. It's basically a quest that allows a player to click one button and win. That's what the solo mode is for if players want to feel like they've accomplished something for very little gain. Thirdly... your suggestion is literally to devoid anything in a flashpoint that would remotely resemble a challenging and rewarding experience. For what purpose exactly though? So everyone can have a miserable and boring runthrough?
  15. On Jung Ma, there's a person with a female toon named Ex-Girlfriend. He (or maybe she) carries a title around nonstop so it reads: Ex-Girlfriend the Backstabber
  16. Today I learned, higher requirements of teamwork and strategy is exclusively geared towards neckbeards and kids
  17. As a healer, if you do not manage to heal the group through the rage timers, you're just completely worthless and should quit the group for the betterment of everyone else.
  18. You literally just complained about every game known to existence with difficulty rewards. I'm not sure you're aware of this or not but that's exactly what you just did. You paid, more than likely, for a single player game with an achievement award, a bonus scene or bonus item upon completion of said harder difficulty and... I highly doubt you ever complained about this. That's the exact equivalence you are moaning about.
  19. Here's an easy and quick save..... Axe 80 of their servers so the other 40 can be mixed between heavy and standard with a few light servers. They can always add servers later on
  20. Exactly what is hard in Kaon? And are your dps afk during the boss fights?
  21. Yeah that's probably why but they're forgetting half their subscriber-base is being subjected to long ques and wait times for finding groups and that'll be cause for reason to unsubscribe if they can't have fun within a 10-20 minute span of logging on. At least with server cuts, that'll give them a little more time to figure out what they want to do with this game.
  22. I really don't see why they can't just cut 30 servers so it fills up the remaining portions of their servers. They can always expand servers later.
  23. This argument is just pathetic... You're saying that someone that rolls out in full BM, smashes in Warzones, comes to low levels planets and smashes on lowbies and then smashes on anyone that tries to retaliate is overall bad a pvp? Garbage...
