  1. Like the title says. We have an open slot in our progression team that raids Saturday and Sunday evenings APAC. Minimum 186 augmented gear required. Full 10/10 SM Ravagers and ToS as a tank is a big plus. We value your ability to learn mechanics and not suck over experience. The team is currently 2/5 Rav and 1/5 ToS HM so it is a good time to jump in if you have little to no HM experience. We can get you geared up if you are committed. It is laid back raid group but we are talented and motivated. We use Parsec and Mumble and have guild repairs and medpacs/stims/adrenals. http://divinity-swtor.enjin.com/ to apply on the website look up any variant of Rend online and it will probably be me.
  2. All the comm gear sets for sage/sorc are crap. It's full of crit/surg all the way up to ultimate. Since none of our abilities rely on crit for any procs it makes stacking it above diminishing returns pointless. That is why we have always prioritized Power>alacrity>surge I believe gloves and boots are the only items with useful mods/enhancement combos in all of the comm gear. Hopefully you already have set bonuses for your armorings. I just bought a ton of gloves myself and ripped the mods/enhancements out.
  3. I am realizing now that my first couple HM FP experiences were less an issue of me not being able to heal and more of an issue of learning new FP mechanics. I have added roaming mend into my rotation even though I still personally wish they would have kept our heals the way they were. I tend to throw a bubble and then put a mend on the tank during the beginning of pulls. Seems to work pretty well.
  4. Sorc/sage healing definitely took a hit in 3.0. I'm hoping that there is a simple rotation change that we aren't figuring out yet that will make everything make sense but so far no luck. When people are taking massive damage I used to be able to burst through it pretty well but now I am pretty helpless. I have no hard hitting heals anymore that are quick. Now it is almost built like an exclusive support class that needs another healer (which makes the whole role pointless). It doesn't help that all basic/elite/ultimate comm gear is crit/surg based which is awful for sages. The only way to get power/alacrity gear is to rip mods from boots/gloves or get drops from operations.
  5. I played through my Jugg and got DS Jaesa. I have to say, after grinding every class to max level, DS Jaesa is the best and funniest companion of all. She makes everything better with her crazy and off the wall commentary.
  6. After hitting 60 and getting my gear up to 186 I am still having issues after 3.0. I have a couple 178 resolve augments already and have the full 180 armoring 4 piece set bonus. I bought a ton of Power/Alacrity boots with basic coms to strip for mods and enhancements since all of the other gear is crit based which has always been a garbage stat for us. My issue started today when doing the new 55 HM FPs. My heals just can't keep up anymore and I am at a loss currently on what to do with the new changes. I have no idea how I am going to use Wandering Mend. My old go to single target heal is super weak now. My channeled heal works while moving which is nice but it doesn't seem to hit very hard. Before 3.0 I was healing HM and NiM operations with no issue. Now I had to drop from 2 60 FP's because I felt I was holding the group back that badly. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone have a good rundown on how we should be healing now?
  7. Think that title sums it all up nicely. I feel like a Priority Transport Terminal and the ability or default setting for fleet chat would make strongholds perfect.
  8. As a player who primarily plays healers at end game my biggest pet peeve is tanks that stand around before every pull. When I'm on my tank I play just like you and I haven't run into a healer that rages on me yet. Might be best to /ignore that one since it won't hurt your Que times in the least.
  9. I completely agree! That would also allow flagged/non-flagged players of opposing factions to work together without any accidents if they are just killing the same mob.
  10. That would have been a good option I suppose. However, I was perma flagged for pvp from the Gree event which doesn't let me unflag no matter how long I don't do pvp or toggle pvp off manually. Must be a bug. Honestly, we were both standing there while our companions were attacking each other and he eventually attacked me so I took care of the problem that way. All of the ideas I'm hearing sound pretty good.
  11. Just accidentally flagged another player while doing the "Ancient Gree Relays" mission because I jumped in to help with the elite droids on my powertech. Unfortunately his AOE over my pvp flagged character flagged him and then I couldn't talk to the droid because we were in combat. I had to put him down even though I didn't mean to flag him and I felt bad about it. Just makes me feel like perhaps the AOE flag issue at least should be solved. On my healer doing WB's in the Gree event I often get flagged which can cause issues but honestly I don't mind as I find open world pvp fun. I see how a PVE only player who is under geared may find this extremely unfair. Just thought I would post this while it was fresh on my mind. I don't want to make another home for trolls so I'm just hoping a dev reads this and maybe brings it up in one of their meetings. I don't know what a good solution would be to be honest but hopefully they can figure something out. If your the guy on Quesh that I had to take out I did do the /sorry emote so I hope I didn't cause you too much frustration lol.
  12. I use them to fill up legacy equipment for alts personally. 35 for an iso would be cool though like basic comms. Or make basics buy EEEs and elite buy iso 5s.
  13. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to write this guide! It has helped me heal better in my raiding progression. I plan on checking it continously so keep up the great work!
  14. We currently have daily and weekly missions but a great addition would be a monthly mission to go along. I see this in GW2 and thing it is a great extra incentive. Just a thought. Your current formula is just shy of 3 daily's to complete a weekly so the formula for a monthly would most likely be a similar calculation based on weekly objectives. For example, Daily pvp is 4 points, Weekly is 15 so a monthly using this formula would be about 40 points. For PVE, 1 HM 55 flashpoint is the daily, 3 is the weekly so a monthly would be 8 55 HM flashpoints. For Ops that would probably be 3 Ops a month.
  15. Just transferred to this server because of a population drop on my old one. I have a 55 sage healer (Rendett) and 55 scoundrel dps (Rendet) pub side and a 55 Shieldtech (Rendetta) imp side. Would be interested in joining to help out with Ops. Let me know. My sage is geared in a mix of 162/168/180 And same goes for my tank. Full 156 augs.
