  2. "No preference/all of the above" - how can you possibly justify placing two odd ended preferences in the same vote? This is an indication that regardless of the poll, the features will be rolled out at BWs discretion, if ever.

  4. My system is capable of Ultra all settings on BF3. FPS rate in Ilum was 2-10, unplayable. So no, until they redevelop the entire gaming engine. No 8+ WZs.

  6. This game in it's current form is for casuals and alt-aholics. PvE is dead on Master Dar'Nala (oceanic) a mere 1.5 months after release. Even with the HM nerfs, there are but a handful of guilds on MDN that run them. With perhaps only 1 or 2 imp side running Denova. There are literally, no PuG Lost Island HMs and finding a tank or DPS (im a healer) is next to impossible. Most have abandoned PvE content for PvP, which is no longer viable as a sorc healer for myself or enjoyable as the BM gear is obtainable within a week removing any gear gap I'd worked hard for. The difference from BM to WH is negligible as the DPS were buffed and my heals were nerfed. PvP is now all about full team of DPS v DPS and the most geared + skilled wins. I enjoy this game, but it needs some major improvements which I imagine forced server merges will resolve as well as cross-server WZs and Ops/FPs. It can become a really great game but it has alot of steps to resolve first. BTW BW - 6 months later and HK47 in FM Foundry is still bugged like heck. PS. Fix inquisitor boot token drop rate from Revan, its broken.

  9. 1st March 2012 was the Australian release date apparently. Cut off is 28th Febuary, there is a 3 day deadzone and it is possible that a player continued to level on the US server expecting to be eligble for a transfer. I have 2 guildees in this position who eventually rolled new toons on Oceanic because of the length of delay and information on transfers, but were fully expecting a transfer to occur.
  10. Same issue as previously mentioned. The 'form' or fields to be filled cannot be changed and the Request button is greyed out. Unable to make request at all. I received the original email that indicated I was eligble for transfer. I strongly suggest that you blokes at BW extend this beyond one week.   11. This, I rarely use it now unless I have no other choice. Im a firm believer that we should now get the best force regen in game or I'd rather take the force regen debuff and instead of the health loss.
  12. Move constantly? This doesnt help. DPS can smack us on the fly not to mention through almost all engagements I have a slowing debuff on me and a casting cleanse that has a CD of 3 seconds. By which time I'm dead before it's ready to cleanse the follow through slowing debuff. Move? All but 1 of our heals require us to be stationary, if we move we are effectively not healing the board or ourselves. Thus we are a wasted spot.
  13. There seems to be two kinds of people in this thread. PvE and PvP players. BW have nerfed us because in BM gear prior to patch 1.2, we were healing through 4 pure DPS classes hitting us. That is OP, I completely agree. But BW forgot they have now buffed DPS classes, and nerfed our base healing as well as altered our consumption proc so that we basically kill ourselves to get force. 90% of my heals are interupted when I PvP essentially making me useless and wasiting a spot that could be DPS. I find I am beyond squishy - targeted immediately and taken down without any chance of surviving. If I am guarded I stand a chance. But only then. I find now as well that PvE healing is much more difficult as a result of our nerfs from PvP OP. Sorc healers cannot carry an operation any longer, I accept this. But I was at 20% health for the KP puzzle boss, normal mode, for the almost entire duration to keep our tank up. If there is eventually a boss that does aoe damage, and I know there are - that is not acceptable. Especially when 1 medpac is only applyable per boss fight. It is not broken, it just needs more refinement for PvP and PvE because I would rate our heals as the worst of the classes now.
  14. I find the 'play sounds in background' option useless when it doesn't play the WZ sound. All I hear is the ambience noises and other useless crud, but when a WZ pops no sound alerts until the game is maximised. You blokes at BW may want to rectify this, especially with the long ques for WZs lately. Im not going to stare blankly at fleet whilst waiting!

  16. I believe it may be "Passenger List", a guildee of mine found this on the ground in the FFA area. Little information is around about this but it may explain the missing codex that people haven't gotten?
  17. The fact is, as a sorc healer anyway, I'm decked in half BM gear and can't outheal 1v1 a scrub welfare geared DPS. There is something terribly wrong with that. Guard or no guard. It simply makes me want to respec to DPS because PvP has turned into whoever can do the most DPS before you die, wins. I can no longer keep my team mates up, because 95% of the match I'm healing myself. Why? Because warriors/marauders and their Jedi mirriors, once they identify me as a healer, will immediately target me and kill me within 4 seconds flat. Shield goes down in one hit, then 5k, 1k, 2k hits continuously until I'm dead. There is no mitigation, we are squishy, I have no cc to handle it. Overload punts less than 5m and if by some miracle it goes further they simply charge back to me. Prior to 1.2 I felt healers were what they should have been. It required teamwork to take one down, or just plain out nuking me. It was OP that I could outheal 4 DPS on me. I was accepting of this supposed nerf to healing because I could laugh away 1 DPS on me whilst I healed my team. Granted however I earnt my gear to be able to do that, it wasnt something I could do as a fresh 50 PvP. But what BW forgot, is that they nerfed healing, buffed easy to get gear, and buffed DPS. So we are now 3 times worse off than we were before. I can't even forsee the WH gear making an iota of difference. I've been PvP'ing for the past two days, and they have been the most frustrating PvP matches I have ever played. I may be raking in the medals easily enough, but the overall picture is that we survive alot less and so does our team. PvP is no longer enjoyable in its current form for me as a healer.
  18. Have you ever considered that your PvP guild sucks if you're losing to scrubs? Look since the welfare gear, and healing changes, it is harder to survive as a healer. But you get a guard worth his salt, and you're still viable. You get a team of 4 worth their weight in tactics. Win. Of course it is left to the fates if your other 4 team mates are mentally competant or not. Sometimes a team build will not work, eg: opposing 4 BHs on Huttball when your whole team is Op/Sniper and 1 inquis. Stuffed. But you as the healer need to release this and farm your 4 medals. It was possible prior 1.2, it is so darn easy post. And it doesnt mean you just hit the heals, you need to mix it up to get your 4. Heck if your losing it wont make a difference whether you're keeping scrubs up or not. Get your 4 guys and rake in the kills. Heal them, then get the killing blows or dots up prior to it. Not hard, but again, perhaps you blokes arent the best PvP guild out.
  19. I've been a healer since I started PvPing TOR. It is alot easier to get medals/valor/tokens post 1.2 win or lose than pre. Even pre 1.2, you got less than the winning team funnily enough. But people still geared up, it just took longer. Maybe if you want more wins/success in PvP, join a PvP orientated guild with strats and players who know *** they're doing. If you roll a PuG team you must be prepared to lose, and I look forward to the anti-AFK/leave debuff to prevent scrubs from quitting. Regardless of age.
  20. This is why participation medals and being told "good game Timmy" even when you've lost is a bad thing when these scrub kids are so young. I see nothing but entitlement here. Oh I lose, but I should still be rewarded because it is a game and it isn't fair that they get geared quicker than me. I don't give a stuff that BM is the new Cent/Champ. I earnt what I have and Im going to earn WH gear, but I don't want losing scrubs to sit here crying to devs for BM welfare or WH.
  21. Uhh, no. 40 tokens is better than nothing. Considering I heal like a freak to get my, on average, 90 tokens for a win. Losing and getting 40 is a fair deal. Lose two and it's the same amount as winning one. BM costs WZ tokens only and is cheaper than pre patch. But equalised in that WZ tokens are slower to win now. You used to have to get 4000 WZ tokens to earn 1 BM token, which only got you 1/2 a piece of gear. So it was basically 8000 WZ tokens per BM piece. Even prior 1.2 it was a hell of a grind. Within one day I've earnt 900 WZ tokens, enough for BM boots/hands. Another 200-300 and you have chest/legs/head. The BMs who earnt their gear have my respect, but you are whining like you expect BM gear to be for credits or handed a BM piece each loss or win of a WZ. PvP is a grind like PvE, grow up. You win some, you lose some. But ultimately this is much easier than pre 1.2.
  22. Yea, the changes are laughable to medals. Given out like candy and worth about as much as sugar. Ironically as a healer I used to get most medals on voidstar, then civil and huttball (my worst because I was setting up plays with pull). Post patch it's been reversed for some reason. 12 medals on my first Huttball, civil saw me get around 7 and voidstar 4. Still haven't been in the new novare coast WZ yet though. Broken?

  24. Well at least the gear gap isn't going to be so painful immediately. It's going to be a huge slog without RWZs, and it will definitely show those who kill trade or just have no lives outside of the game.
