  1. Ummm, how is being able to (in your example, Force Choke) use ONE additional Class Ability every 20 minutes (Heroic Moment's cooldown) over-powering???
  2. YES ! Please, thank you. I DO NOT want to be forced to change any of my six actively played toons names, and especially not my long thought-out Legacy name, if I'm eventually forced to transfer because I'm on a "dead" sever.
  3. Well, a higher grav planet would have a higher-density atmosphere, which would off-set a lot of the effects of the increased gravity...
  4. EXACTLY correct. We have the "right" to pay $15 per month to play the game BW gives us, nothing more.
  5. Now that's an interesting idea. Put it up on the Suggestion board? Maybe some additional bits, like; more mobs like the mentally-controlled guys in the Czerka facility, they just keep coming, wave after wave with no break. Or Strongs/Elites that DO more damage, but only have "Standard" hit-points?
  6. Like what??? FORCED faction selection? Blow that !! Just because a lot of small-minded players think the Empire is somehow cooler doesn't mean that I, or anyone else should be forced to play a particular class/faction, and that is the only "solution" to the "problem".
  7. Excellent compilation ! Now I have a real reason to craft; Cybertech Speeders !!
  8. "Naturals" quite often best the "well-trained expert"...
  9. This is actually the best, most logical reason. But there's no practical reason why guns, or some sort of "slug thrower" type of weapon wouldn't be just as effective as any Blaster. For example, slug-throwers could use a wide range of ammo types, held in different magazines; Acid, explosive, Armor-pircing / Discarding Sabot, High-Impact (HESH, High Explosive Squash Head), HEAT / Shaped Charge, High Explosive Anti-Tank), etc. Just pick the type appropriate for you target, and kill it. Make the slugs out of a ferrous metaL, and propel them with an electromagnetic field (rail-gun).
  10. Soooo, Turbo-laser have exaust pipes, rather than heat-sinks??? lol...
  11. It's not really a Dark-vs-Light thing. My Sentinel is much darker than my Marauder, and there's no lore-issue with that. But switching factions is like changing sides in a war; defecting from the Germans to the Soviets in WWII doesn't neccesarily mean you're a Commie, it just means you disagree the Germans' actions more.
  12. That's excellent, because I was thinking of doing the same thing with a Chiss IA soley in order to be able to make a Chiss Smuggler !
  13. Actually, both Death Stars were made from Alderaanian (Swiss) Cheese, which is why there was a big hole for Vader to throw the Emperor down, and why their defenses were so easily overcome by snub-fighters.., twice !
  14. Defection is an awesome idea, but the above is a probably insurmountable obstacle. JK: you could have T7 wiped/reproggrammed, but Kira would never go for it (unless you defect before the end of Act 1, and she reverts to "Child of the Emperor"). SW; Vette's cool with it, but Quinn and Jaesa kill you. BH; Mako'd probably be OK with it., but you'd lose Torian for sure, and maybe Gualt as well. Trooper; Jorgen sits on you, and Dorne shoots you in the head.
  15. I like all the OP suggestions, and the "Add Parent Later" idea. But "Clan Mate" and "ally" are pretty much the same thing, just a little different in wording, really. I would definitely want "Half-sibling" and "cousin" slots since that's how I envision most of my tree anyway (2 Jedi, SW, Trooper and BH, all same father but different mothers...).
  16. More powerful in the Force. Weaker in mind and control.
  17. Fighting the Imp "Cryo-troopers" on Alderaan with my Sentinel. Got to the last part of the mission; "Kill the Cryo Dragon" (Elite Imp Trooper). You have to blow up a ship on the landing pad to draw him out. I blew up the ship, Mr. Cryo-Dragon drops in, inside the other ship on the platform. He's shooting me up, but I can't reach him, so I die. Call the res-bot, blow up the other ship, and the first ship re-spawns on top of me, trapping me inside...
  18. I suppose you'd claim to laugh at a Viking wearing a Kilt, yeah? NOT !
  19. JK ; "Well, we fought our way through this huge underground labrynth to shut down the Czerka Project, and your help was invaluable. Good job, Kira !" Kira; "Thanks boss, and thanks for saving me when I went down." JK; "No problem. You must be exhausted. Tell you what, instead of walking all the way back to the surface, I'll just call a shuttle to pick us up... here... deep underground...?"
  20. A Fort Stim gives you a few extra hit-points, but the others give you a few more points of damage. Is that damage per hit? Because if it is, it seems like Fort Stims aren't worth much. If you get 10 HP, OR 10 damage per hit, then a Str/Aim/Cun/Will Stim is far more productive. Or am I missing something essential to the equasion?
  21. Others have suggested similar ideas, but I'd like to propose either of 2 ideas. 1) (Preferred) Eliminate planetary commendations, and just have Republic Commendations and Empire Commendations. No more ending up with 1-2 Comms from a dozen different planets that are, effectively, worthless. 2) (Probably the better idea, but...) Convert unspent Comms from each planet, up to a maximum of maybe 3, to the next planet's Comms. For example, if you arrive at Coruscant (2nd Republic planet) with 7 left-over Tython Comms, they become 3 (or however many) Coruscant Comms. I know one of the objections I'm going to hear; "Tython Comms aren't as hard to get / worth as much as (pick a planet) Comms." Are they really? Don't you work as hard to get from level 1 to 10 as you do to get from 21 to 30? Sure, 1-10 is faster, but harder? I don't think so. Besides which, you get more Comms at higher levels (which you need for your increasing set of Orange gear), and 2-3 carry-overs aren't really going to break the Commendation-econmy.
  22. OPTIONAL Merges/Transfers, please. I have a small group of real-life friends who play together when we feel like, and all of whom enjoy soloing as well. Some people don't need high-pop servers. I'm personally sick-to-death, even on TOR's supposedly "dead" servers, of [insert foul language]s who ninja the resource / chest / quest item I'm in the process of fighting that Elite to get to.
