Well, that's a comforting thought. I hate that friggin' backblast, or whatever it is you guys do. Last time I ran into you it was a PD premade, and Candy was healing, I think...That's been a while ago, though. I've not been around as much lately. Been doing just enough PvP to get my daily in most days, then doing icky PvE.

Bloodcrazed and Vasyel. Anytime I see them, I'm pretty sure I'm going to die...and /rude from spawn. I'd like to mention some from my guild, but I think the best ones are all gone.

I found using a practice dummy worked, as well. Even though it was stationary, I had enough room to run around safely and practice casting on something that absolutely would not hit me, and wouldn't die before I was done practicing.

Kinda...The root works, but those with full resolve don't get knocked back (at least it's never happened for me). When they're whitebarred, I overload and run, because if not, they're rooted...right in my face.

That's when I always do my /rude. What else should I do while waiting for the door to pop? And, for the love of all things holy, I hope "call 'inc'" isn't the answer...Unless you're imp side; then it's perfectly normal.

What I find odd is that even consumables are dropping in price...My exotech stims go for closer to 15k vs. the 18-20k they were selling at a couple weeks ago.

I find that each match can be a surprise. For example, yesterday, I'm in a Voidstar where my sorc is the only one with 20k+ HP. Everyone else is around 16k. I figure it's a sure loss. One of the 16k heroes pipes up in ops chat and says, "This is a loss, I'm out," and quits. Guess he decided this team couldn't carry him... Anyhow, long story short; we won. It was pretty close, but we won. If you'd have asked me right before that who would win, I would have absolutely said the other team. It seems like that happens a lot, though, so I shouldn't be surprised. Kinda like Karma is rewarding me for not dropping when I see a recruit/PvE geared team. Now, isn't that inspirational?

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. Hybrid seems like it could be good. A lot more to pay attention to than my current "rotation", but I can see the stars aligning for some pretty good burst, which is an impossibility on my current setup. And, dropping Creeping Terror isn't a big deal. Mediocre DoT with short term root? Meh. Probably still won't do full lightning, either (I mean, c'mon...Deathfield does pretty good damage vs. Thundering blast, and now hits up to 5 people? Yes, please!).

Yeah, there are some nice perks, if you're a healer (I've never healed on this one; that's what my op is for). I played with it on PTS yesterday, and spent some time on a training dummy to try some of the different mechanics. I think I may end up with a lightning/madness hybrid. After trying a couple WZ without the stun bubble, I realized I just drop too quickly (especially to you stealthy smugglers). My whole gameplay is going to have to change with this. I may actually pick up chain lightning, with the buff to lightning strike. I agree that force shouldn't be much of an issue anymore, which is nice. Unfortunately, when half your time is spent running from spawn, force is never the issue, anyhow.

Yep, early in my "career", I never considered quitting. I've come to realize my blood pressure appreciates me quitting sometimes...

Touche. I should have been more specific: Until they nerf the bubble-stun portion. Not only will you not be able to use it on teammates, but it is no longer a hard stun (so all my DoTs will break it), AND I can no longer click the effect off for the stun. That's cool though, because they're also moving the root on knockback WAAAY up the lightning tree (so only those OP Lightning Sorcs can get it), and making it so we can no longer have instant whirlwind (although, if we completely gimp our DPS, we can spend 4 points in the lightning tree and madness tree to have the privilege of reducing the cast time to 1s). The good news is, while we're coming back from spawn, the DoTs that are still ticking will hit for slightly more damage, so we got a pretty good buff, I'd say! Seriously, though, it's all still on PTS, so who knows what the final changes will be. All in all, my operative healer's happy.

How late do you guys usually run? I usually get some later hours on Fridays (after 10:30 or so EST).

Hey, Ty! What's up? If you're ever throwing a team together and think to yourself, "Self, I need a bubble-stun DPS sorc on my rated team," hit me up. As it is lately, not many in VM are queuing for regulars, let alone rated, so I'd be glad to freelance at the moment. I have an Operative healer, too, but she's not very geared. I'm trying to save up comms on both toons until the expansion comes out so I can get a gear head start. Anyhow, good to see ya on the forums!
