  1. I'm personally glad that my one root isn't affected by resolve. So gratifying seeing a ballcarrier melt in a firepit from my root...Makes me think my 31 point talent isn't such a waste after all.
  2. I hate when it happens when I'm throwing down Deathfield. I'm trying to set up my DoT's, and then my DF hits one (if I'm lucky).
  3. Me (Squishy DPS sorc, all alone guarding a door in Voidstar): "2 inc right!" Other guy on the team: "We're having a hard time on our side." Seconds later...I'm dead and they're capping my door...
  4. Necro-bump - any word on character sync for SW:ToR?
  5. I have people interrupt my FL. I suppose if you weren't paying attention and kept mashing the FL button, you would be doing nothing, since you're locked out of that ability for 4 seconds. Maybe they're banking on you being an idiot?
  6. Maybe we can get them to update this on Joveth's post. This is a very handy list. Thanks for putting it together!
  7. Yeah, I'm actually working on maxing all my companions' affection right now, so I'm glad when my Treasure Hunting window has 3 companion gifts missions...
  8. Saw some things referencing Tank AoE damage not affecting CC. Any word on if this will apply to any other AoE? I know I'd like to be able to cast Death Field with my Sorc and not break CC...
  9. Of course, if price were no object, I'd have an unlocked Intel I5. What I'm getting at is, it's not really necessary to have a great processor to have a good experience with SW:ToR. Here's a chart from Tom's Hardware that illustrates my point: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-overclocking,3077-5.html If you look closely, you'll see that Intel's core I3 (which is a dual core) performs as well (in gaming) as the best products AMD is putting out, including their 8 core monster. I'm not saying my processor is better than a quad core, (especially if I used this computer for anything like video editing). However, as a budget rig for playing games on, your money is better spent on a good graphics card and waiting to upgrade the processor later.
  10. Gonna disagree here. I just built a new computer to run SW:ToR on, and my Pentium G850 runs much better than the ancient quad core I had. I get framerates that rarely drop below 60 now. And, it uses the same socket as the higher end Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge processors, so I've got room to upgrade. Carry on.
  11. Don't know if this was an intended joke or not, but I chuckled anyhow.
  12. Cool post. Human interaction with the company can be nothing but a positive for me.
  13. Definitely looking forward to it. And, I'm sure no one has my name, as it's a reworking of my RNG name from EQ. If someone else happened to stumble across that letter combination, they can have it.
  14. I don't think anything. Shoot, my 4 year old son created a female character (he doesn't really play, mind you - he just likes to run around and click buttons). I figure, they're paying - they can make it whatever they want.
  15. Happened to me and a guildie yesterday in the same match...I /bugged it, but it was more to make myself feel better than actually expecting it to be addressed.
  16. I completely agree. When getting ready for a PvP match, I always seethe, rather than jump around like everyone else seems to do. Makes me feel cooler, anyway.
  17. Mine is "The Outfield - Your Love". Just replace the first line, "Josie's on a vacation far away" with, "Ashara's on a crew skill mission far away," and that's me. My Sorc romances every chick he can while Ashara's away.
  18. Yeah, I was bummed about this, too. Had a 16 man wipe a couple of times last night, and that button was quite convenient...I'm sure it's saved me a few thousand credits.
