  1. Why should they treat "us" as adults when "we" so rarely act like anything other than children?
  2. They don't need to change it back to how it was. I understand why they changed it. However they can tweek it more: 1) snow effect is removed in WZ. 2) snowballs and like items do not work in WZ. 3) vendors could sell some item that suppresses the snow effect (but not the debuff). All of the above looks good to me.
  3. Working as intended? After each boss, some in the raid group would get an non rolled item... But other would not. I thought everyone was going to get something from each boss?
  4. On Jung Ma imps arm on the fleet as neutral and on coruscant as red named. The imps then start slaughtering everyone and everything in sight.
  5. Oh idk, there is always hope. They have responded to various other forums with similar topics. And there is a (Dread) Host worth of decors still possible: Phobos crystals in stands of various colors, Phobos crystals in hands to mount on walls, upside down holocrons of fear & dread for ceiling lights, the dread seed tendrils seen throughout DP, the cobwebs to hand from walls or ceilings, any number of various colored or patterned armors from the Dread host / commanders / guard / etc. they have more then enough art to create Dread war themed stuff for ages. Holding out hope even if it is necro-ing up this old thread can't ever be a bad thing. New people see it, comment, show interest. Heck I don't even think Tate worked for BW the last time this thread was bumped. So OP, keep trying dude. One day we might get what we are waiting for.
  6. Yes. But do understand they don't contribute as much as more main stat would.
  7. Because it lets you design outfits? out·fit \ˈau̇t-ˌfit\ noun : a set of clothes that are worn together So you take a mix of any or all of differing/disseperate/the same set(s) of "clothing" and lock that ensemble in without having to worry about it's stats or appearance. Sounds like you designed an OUTFIT to me. No you don't design a piece of clothing... Just an outfit... Like the name says. But this is all off topic anyway.
  8. So.... Either you wanted to slow down the content locusts or more likely there is a SW ep7 tie in / press thing on the 4th. Can we get new SWTOR Lego sets too?
  9. NO PvP!? omg omg. They took the whole server's PvP!? ....What? You can still PvP everywhere else? Even in WZs? Hrm... In that case, I happy if you really did cancel that sub.
  10. You bought CC. CC is not money as it is a one way conversion. If you bought appels you could resell them for cash, you can not legitimately (see ToS) return your CC into cash. With this CC you traded it for this game's raffle tickets. You played the raffle till you won your "prize". You say this was advertised, it wasn't in anyway by BW that stated what it did, or what the drop rates were. As I assume you've been playing this game more then a week you should know BW can and will change any part of the game (to which cartel items still are inside of the game). I'm don't think you for one second heard there is a slot machine (without any info of what it did) and went nuts trying to get it. What you wanted was something that was giving you more then you put into it. A function not advertised by BW, but by other players. Many of those calling for its nerfing. Not you might counter that BW had a post saying it was working as intended and not an exploit. Ok. That isn't advertizing, and that same post said they were looking at the effect it had on the economy, which should have been a clue that it may, in fact, be changed after the post. You will not get your money back, you got the item (but not the utility) you wanted, You may think you own the virtual goods you have bought... But you are quite mistaken. When you "buy" park place in monopoly at a person's house and get that little card, you don't walk out of the game owner's home with the card. That would be theft. You don't own park place in the real world (the real park place or the game board location), even IF you paid RL monies to be at that monopoly game.
  11. <reposted here> Yeah no. I think the slot machine was added as a means of getting old rep without having to go through packs, selling of the unused rep items was a 2ndary biproduct. I have no reason to think (and the nerf online reinforces) that BW doesn't want slots to be a money making venture or even a break even. To have time on slot = credit gain via same time in dailies means less people would be out in the game doing dailies and instead sitting in front of a slot machine. Negating the need for gear, or lvl, or other people, etc etc. I doubt any dev wants to take an MMO that way. Plus there is an issue where some countries/states have laws against online simulated gambling. I know of at least one other MMO that has tripped over those laws in the past.

  13. Cool, but would break the story if used when you get him. His storyline would make no sense.
  14. Due to your reported trepidation for putting out more slot machines let me suggest this: The First Grand Reputation Pack. Filled with a limited number of reputation items from various previous packs. And if we want to go full inception/pimpmyrep here: add that each Grand Reputation pack contains a "grand reputation" reputation item, to be used at the Grand Reputation Vendor for toys that recreate the various pack openings.
  15. Bump - still not fixed This reminds me of Ilum in days of old.
  16. While I have no real issue with the idea, I don't think it can happen. The devs have stated repeated how your starship is to tied into story pointed to allow it to be swapped out for a different ship, and likewise is used as the main hardship in allowing class changes or faction change without resetting all of story along the way. With this in mind I have every reason to believe just trying to do what you wish would make the programming implode.
  17. Yes colors, lovely. Now can we get the next level? Dyes with effects/animation - like reflective metal, or some pulsing glow. Dyes that are textured - like leather, or pleated cloth, etc. You want a dye I'll go out of my way for? There you go BW.
  18. All this no NPC stuff is silly. Every hazard in PvP maps IS effectively an NPC. If I had a line of mobs that did a slow dps on you like a dot and made them immune to you effecting them you'd have huttball acid traps. A single mob that stood in one place and hurt you a ton but only every once in awhile? Fire trap. If I made a fire trap move would it be an NPC then? How about give it a face and body? Oh that's the issue. I want more ideas on warzones. THANK YOU to everyone contributing new WZ ideas. Can I get a WZ. That simulates this thread? Plz thx.
  19. Easy enough to fix. Have more then one hill. 2 is fair, 4 or 6 more interesting. Smaller fights more options for turnovers. Just make sure the people on the hill can interact in some way or the moving hills come close to each other often.
  20. This. But it's not a death knell for nodes. Just make the person there be able to interact with the rest of the fighting somehow. Traps, gunfire, being able to see what else is going on, something more then stand there and call when attacked. If the node were a gun someone could mount and use to effect targets strategically it would be a vast QoL for people banished to the position.
  21. I honestly think it's more a ratio thing. While the strict numbers of each class will vary, the ratios should be roughly the same. Why these ratios would be radically different on different servers is beyond me. As such what little extra grouping would happen out of the minor ratio differences is the best you'd get. And while I don't know how much back end would be needed to create cross server grouping or maintain it, I question the utility for the cost. Bad sides? Trolls griefers and ninjas having a field day. Up side ?slightly? More pops and bioware making more money off of people switching servers having made a rare new friend? I this as is will do fine.
